I love that this video seems to focus on the more respectful side of getting out and about. Not tearing up the bush, making a fucking huge mess and creating distain in our community.

Ron, thank you for bringing Graeme & Charlie together for one of the best yarns we've seen in years. These two legendary cattlemen deserve our respect and gratitude for extending their hospitality and friendship to the rest of us. Well done to all of the team for a terrific video.

Love your work. Great watch. Obviously you value this beautiful country. Leave it better than you found it. Pick up low life’s Rubbish. Anyone that doesn’t agree should be deported. No tolerance Australian policy! We’d have a beautiful country with beautiful people.

Fantastic video, especially the conversation about the huts. Definitely 1 of the best if not the best VHC video I've had the enjoyment of watching. You really should do yourself a favor a buy a 235 or 236 Husky for $250 you'll have much more reliably & mate they cut a lot bigger than the bar size, 10yr's mine (235E) still going very strong

Yer hey all that $$$$$ on 4x4's even telling people to b properly prepared & using a not so prepared chainsaw. Don't get me wrong I've owned the same as he used but I wouldn't take it into the VHC. Gr8 for home use but the Husky is so much better & reliable 100%

@@matthutch5919 Chainsaws are illegal in the high country... and what they did was an illegal act in a NP.

@@MrFastFarmer 🤣🤣 taking a chainsaw is apart of standard recovery equipment. Tree's fall & block tracks. If u don't have room to turn around what do u suggest 1 is to do?

I think we have reached a transitional period in the way people these days are producing & editing 4wd video content on RU-vid. For example, after watching Red Dirt Diaries Fraser Island youtube video then watching this, you can tell that they are pretty much worlds apart Dont get me wrong, this isnt a stab at your videos and what you guys do as you ca tell it has definitely required a solid effort to produce, edit and make, but i believe these days as a 37 yr old i have seen the progression of videos going from the typical aussie countrymen with akubra hat showcasing high country huts and tracks, to these days having awesome video edits including, drones, awesome camera and editing skills with uplifting music that becomes a whole journey when watching... Does anybody else get where im coming from? Cheers.

Horses for courses. I think you'll find certain videos, editting and even magazines may be aimed at different audiences. I used to read the other 4by mag the 1 roothy was in. That was until i grew up. Get where im coming from? Don't get me wrong, i appreciate any good vid.

Are these tracks accessible by stock 4x4's or is a lift and bigger tyres essential?

Fascinating video. Some of those tracks look quite technical. Would you be able to tow a small, offroad camper trailer along that route or would you advice against it?

5:30 You spend $100,000 on a dualcab Landcruiser setup....but $100 on some shit brand chainsaw? That's why it took 10 minutes to start. My mind is boggled.
@millardkeyes5187

My thoughts exactly! A Chinese saw which is cheaper but a nuisance and a whole lot heavier than say a Stihl MS170 which is about $399 or over $199 sometimes on special and a brilliant small saw.

So those mongrel introduced trout have put the native Macquarie perch on the protected list. No better than bloody carp, introduced pest should be eradicated.
