Another great trip guys. Im really enjoying the natural life you guys bring to youtube. Makes it pleasant to watch.. Just a tip on those tight tracks mat3, You can always ratchet strap a tree to another tree to bend it away from the truck or van. Or versi tackle knot if you know how. You can release once you are passed it. With mud holes like that mate, always pays to prepare the winch first. Makes far easy to connect when above water. Ha ha Well done guys.

Remember you can ratchet strap a tree from your roof to another tree to pull it off. Sometimes we need to look upwards.

If you had a couple of ratchet straps, you could use them between the trees to bend the one nearest the truck/caravan away. Just place the stap higher on the tree you want to bend than on the tree you use as anker. ;-)

WOW….. you guys “ smashed it “ getting to those camp sites. I think you need to carry a battery powered chainsaw ( cut down some of those trees ) for those situations. Little Finley would have made any parent proud….. he’s is one little trooper. Very brave!!!!! Those burgers and chicken nuggets looked delicious Elenya, well done. Nic, you should have given Elenya a “ 10 “ for that burger.

I'm not afraid to use a chainsaw to open up tracks. Rule number one: don't cut standing dead-wood, it's a perch for birds Rule number two: don't cut fallen dead-wood with a hollow, it's a home for our ground dwelling marsupials. Rule number three: it's OK to chain saw the crap from the tracks, and be on your way. VIC and NSW have introduced Regulations whereby you are not permitted to carry an axe in State Forests; chainsaws permitted LOL.

Can definitely relate to those stressful moments of navigating the big rig into campsites, even caravan parks are super stressful at times.. all makes it for a great adventure though.. absolutely loved the episode, I split my head open 3 times when I was finnys age.. Those boys are tough as nails 😁
