Man, here in SoCal desert season & off-roading is just getting started for those of us who don’t like the heat. Love watching your guys vids so much…it gets me thru til my next wheel’n weekend. That gem at 10:40 is CLASSIC! You can always count on a good group to be there for morale support!
There is talk about shutting Whipsaw down and closing the road, the reason for this is the people who drive off the road, tear up the terrain and impact the environment. Yesterday a gate went up on a road I have used for 30 years - because of trash, gunshells and related "targets" and off trail driving. Show us some driving that spins no tire or leaves a mark and that is a driver worth watching.
These places that get too popular should be restricted access before they are ruined forever. Gates should go up to keep the rabble out, and keys should be available for rental to those willing to abide by the rules, with proceeds going to clean up and maintenance. For years I've been arguing that this is what the forestry companies should do on their private lands here on Vancouver Island, instead of just kicking everyone out.
My favorite trail and camping spot in Colorado have been closed due to trash. The county hauled away 7 dump trucks of just shot up old tvs. It’s a shame people suck so hard
I've been on the whipsaw and it was a beautiful trail. But I also saw many signs of people going off the track and tearing up steep slopes just to say they can, with no thought to the damage vertical access paths cause in the future..... from 00:38sec to 06:40 is a perfect example of this. Don't get me wrong.....I love to get out on the trails and have fun too. But I know I'm not the only one who wants to use this trail now and in the future. This is exacly how we loose the access. There's a big group sheltered camp site near the end of our trip where group collect 7 garbage bags of crap left behind by people who just didn't care enough to take it out again. We have very few of these long alpine trails left now and if we don't take care of them the Government will simply close it down to us. Please....tread lightly.
excellent SUVs of the old model Grand Cherokee and Cherokee than the new model which are full of electronics and beauty and quality and safety do not even smell
The jeep zj at 33:10 besides the headlights and plastic trim and v8 badge (mines a 4.0) and headlights look identical. Same grey, same tail lights and i have the tactik d window wheels 😂, my headlights are the ones that match the tail lights from Spyder 😂 good looking jeep!
Is the trail really so rough or you guys intentionally try difficult place just for fun? I have done part of the trail. Once from Coalmount and once from the hwy 3. I did not get to see the rough part!
Risking sounding like an idiot here but I gotta know...what's the purpose of having those cables ran from the top of the windshield to the hood lachtes?
@@breakitbillk5429 I think the flag’s cool. As soon as I saw it I guessed it was dual Canadian-American citizen, or a husband-wife team from both countries. I’m from the UK but live in BC - easy for me - don’t even have to make my own flag and just use the provincial one haha Happy trails
