Hello World,
This is going to be the next episode of my Poker Vlog. I played 5/10 at One Eyed Jacks in Sarasota Florida. I play better than I think I have been playing the last few weeks. I attribute the better playing to extra time studying on Pokercoaching.com.

@@kylefischl6841 I think reverse engineering the 3-bet on river for exploitation purposes against a player who might overfold will go for a suicide play like that at a certain frequency. Say he just has a good bluff in his range and gets creative.... highly unlikely concering how many nutted combos could maybe smash ur nutflush.... lots of fullhouses and who knows the rare quad 66s..... the deeper you are the easier the fold so I think there it was a good place to fold imo vs the MP range... we are looking at most likely Q6s imo that made it by the turn that or he just smashed with the pocket 88s 66s 99s...

I recently pulled of a bluff where I bet king high against bottom boat for $400 into a $400 pot at a 1/3 table. I think it's worth it to call here just for the peace of mind. @@kylefischl6841

Other flushes that get there backdoor often feel disguised enough to raise. The same argument is true for raising with a naked 6, which he has several of in range, and would also make the turn min click make some sense. I'm likely making a crying call in this spot - we simply beat too many things. Any 6, any smaller flush that thinks it's really disguised after flopping a Q, and of course any bluffs. I don't think the fold is bad by any stretch - but idk if I could get away from it here. I also think that in lower stakes, players ALWAYS have it here. Once we hit 5/10, that's perhaps not as true... but that's a read for Kyle to make in real time. Great hand sir!
@DanielSong39
@DanielSong39 20 дней назад
Of course there are bluffs in the opponent's range but I'm guessing you only win like 10-20% of the time with a call They don't always have it but they sometimes do have it

Fold was optimal on the heart flush hand but calling is ok as well. Just seems like they have it like 90-95% of the time here.

Unless your opponent was tilted or blasting off I don't see how they can be bluffing with the 3-bet on the river. I think you're right in that the microbet on the turn was a setup since they already had a made hand and just wanted to string you along by giving you excellent pot odds with your draws.
@DanianMohammed

Thinking he had pocket 9s or 6s on that hand. Good lay down. The river action basically told you that
@DTR1LL
@DTR1LL Месяц назад
As played that fold on the river with the flush was good. There are no bluffs and all single 6s and lower flushes would just call. I think the mistake was raising river when he already made that suspicious micro bet on the turn and then lead out on river to try to make up profit for his made hand. Just my opinion.
@kylefischl6841
@kylefischl6841 Месяц назад
@@DTR1LL turn was definitely suspicious, but I came to play this day Was not going to be too safe, think we need to try for value and reevaluate if faced with further aggression. If I just get called likely make an extra 200+ from all two pairs and worse flushes

I play there (not at 5/10) and a 3-bet on the river - unless it's a crazy action player - they have it. Those folks always seem to bet crazy when they actually have it save for like 1 or 2 guys. Good fold.

This looked like quads to me he hit a set flop and was planning to check call. The turn gave quads and he decided he'd have to bet but bet small. Then decided to try to get a little value on the river but when you raised him I think he put you on a full house or flush so he went for massive value. Really solid fold. Okay, so I paused the video at around 8:24 and was thinking to myself, "I need to go down there and play that 5/10 game that they're running; what in world is up with all that limping multiple ways pre-flop?? Are you kidding me? Please God, let those same limpers be there whenever I do decide to go over there and play, pretty please, just one time." One more final thought: you're going to need a substantial amount of $ for a 5/10 bankroll, as in substantial. I believe you have what it takes to make it at these stakes and call yourself a winning player with a positive win rate, just make sure you have the bankroll to avoid and/or properly absorb the inevitable 4 to 5 figure swings up or down. Congratulations, sir, on a job well done!
