We don't need to check balance factor of every node we only need to check the nodes which are in the path from root to the node to be deleted,That will take the care of complexity to the order of Log(n) for delete rest all is good
Mam, can you please upload implementation and deletion od binary search trees(AVL, RedBlack etc..). You really explained very well the theory part so can you upload implementation and deletion part coding. Please
she said, after deleting a node, we need to check the balance factor of each node. but it is only necessary to check the balance factor of the ancestors of the node being deleted. Because heights of other nodes are not affected by it!
hi jenny when u r deleting 11 i think it will be replaced by 12 , according to BST deletion rule if any node is having 2 children and ur deleting that node it will be replaced by inorder successor of that node that is in ur case 12 .(4,11,12,13,14,16,19,20,55,60)
You can replace by either an inorder successor or inorder predecessor. Which would provide different answer. Therefore what she did wasn't wrong. Please research.
Why balance factor of 19 is 0, I think it should be 1. Because BF of 53 is 0 if it moves to left it should be -1. From right comes 2. 2-1=1, how dod you make it 0.
