Your explanation is so much clearer than my professors. He kind of flew through it and so does the video he used. You take your time and that really helps!! Thanks!!
omg thats crazy that cells in my body are doing THAT all the time i cant believe it!!!! thank you soooo much for these lecture series, biology never fails to surprize me...
This is such a great explanation! I was trying multiple books and videos, and they were all glossing over the details and I really struggled to understand how recombination happens. It is much clearer now, thank you!
Dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last couple of days =)
Very well explained!. Thank you very much.It is exactly the kind of explanation that I was looking for, and it took a lot of time for me to find the right one.
I was having such a hard time understanding the 12/23 rule and the RSS spacers, and you just cleared it up for me in 5 minutes! Thank you so much, this is an excellent explanatory video!
If you don't even understand such a poultry concept then you may need to start considering changing your major - My immunology professor when I ask her about clonal selection theory. 😢
You are a very good teacher. I wish my teacher was as good as you. He is foreign so he's hard to understand with his accent, but his teaching is also all over the place and leaves students confused. Listening to him is like starting an instruction manual somewhere in the middle and skipping around to whichever page and then you have to try to put the pieces together all on your own. He is a good person, just not a good teacher.
What happens to the V segments upstream to the recombined one, why are they not coded ? And similarly to the ones downstream to desired J segement? Also in heavy chain DNA molecule, the various constant segments downstream to mu,delta, gamma etc. why are they not encoded ?
