I am on again, off-again building a 1/3 scale Morale Saulnier, A1, which this will be the power plant for this beautiful warbird from 1917. You two guys are fun to watch with your engines. My grandson bought a previously owned twin XYZ Twin cylinder gas engine that was said to be 100cc, with the ignition module. We know nothing about this engine or how to run it. I was searching the Internet to find information, or a manual for this engine, but I have found nothing. I am in the USA in Michigan near Detroit. Thanks for your video.

Blaz, look at all the great comments. Right on! I think you need an exhaust fan in there. Wait a minute, I know 2 guy's in Slovenia that make that kind of stuff. I think they are brothers, and they are really good tin knockers from some of the jobs I've seen on their website. Bloody beautiful!! I absolutely love 2 stroke twin cylinder petrol engines! I just bought a DLE 40cc twin and I'm running it in on the bench. I'll be putting it on a Hangar 9 Ultra Stick. You can't beat the power of a 2 stroke petrol!
That smooth engine is going to make that plane so steady as she goes. That prop radius when spinning is just so nice. Nice pitch on it too. Can't wait!

Amazing hanger and motor I can't wait to see the tour of the hanger this weekend maybe. I used to really get into Nascar racing and I went to the Talladagga 500 in Alabama were I got to shake hands with Dale Earnhart senior he was killed racing but he was the god of racing at the time so it was a great honor,anyway to my point I will never forget the smell of the exaust to this day I can still remember the smell it really takes me back,thanks again and have a great day and thank you.M
Gidday Captains! :) I bought one of these XYZ engines a long time ago on a Hobbyking sale, cheap enough to see how good an engine named XYZ would be. Installed it on my 40% Druine Turbulent. From brand new it started exactly as you guys showed in this video, and has always started the same. Bags of power, far more than what the Turby needs, but the boxer twin looks too cool exposed on the nose! I have had zero issues with my XYZ 53cc. I am really looking forward to seeing what plane you will install this engine into! Love your videos!
Very nice sound and lots of power. Now you need strong servo's for the 2.5 meter wing plane. Can't wait to see the motor and the engine support on the plane. Maybe you can reinforce the broken plywood parts on the wing attachement point with a layer of 1mm aluminium sheet. Hope for the best and this is it.

Nice engine. Boxer twins are pretty good, I used to ride a BMW R75 twin, it had a point in the rpm range where it vibrated quite a bit, but higher or lower revs and it would smooth out nicely.

i run one of these Engines in my Hangar 9 P-47 Razorback and i LOVE IT! Only bad thing is I dont think it is produced anymore, which is unfortunate. Hopefully nothing goes wrong with it because i wont know where to get replacement parts for it.
Engine sounds nice, but there are mixed reviews of it online so good luck with it! Is that plane still available, haven't seen one before. Looking forward to it flying!

6.6v LiFe, they say you have to use a voltage regulator...So, I just us a 6v NiMh...Break it in good, a couple tanks of rich oil mixture...Add some castor oil for the first tanks, then full synthetic after break in...I like the basement or workshop, looks like a mancave to me...LOL

Can’t wait to see the hanger for additional ideas. It looks like Capt Blaz hanges his planes with a cable stretched out with the planes hanging from the cable with hooks????

That XYZ engine sounds super badass! Like a big american muscle. I'm not sure if the RPM meter worked as intended... the readings where all over the place in some parts. Maybe it needs only 1 reading mark? Love to see the maiden with this beast!
