I want to cry again 😢 i dont know where, why time went so fast. I was 16 when i listened ELO the first time, im 61 now and still love his music. Time doesn't forgive anybody.. Great era, the best era of my life. 70s for ever the best
@cindyandkurt dude I was at this show and the crowd was wild from start to finish Jeff was smiling at our response and went above and beyond last Friday And yes He sounded amazing He blew the roof off the joint
@cindyandkurt on our way out the door we said to each other If they stated playing the same show right then we'd walk back in and rage again for another 90 minutes So good we'd watch it over and over Wouldn't even care if it was the same Amazing band and excellent performance
my very first concert!! was probably one of the youngest there, was so excited almost cried and wow. Best first concert I think I could've gone to. This is real music, real genuine live talent captured, and i was shocked that Jeff sounded so good!!! The backup singers were so good wow!! So much life in this performance, much better than lipsynching to a pre recorded track!!!!!
So please, be also the youngest to enter the Jeff Lynne’s world … you will find magic in any song! ❤️ greetings from the older ELO fan from Italy (probably 😊)
Saw him in San Francisco and it was the best night of my life 17 year old here and ELO is my all time favorite band I’ve been a fan my whole life. He sounded so damn incredible and it was such a privilege to see him live
I lived the first half of my life in my Latin American country, a 3rd world country. Since 13 years old I have adored ELO. I remember like it was yesterday when I saw that first video, it’s a living thing…But could only fantasize in my mind about seeing them live. Not a chance they’d would perform in my country. I’m now 60 been living in US for 30 years so when I learned they were coming to town, at least Jeff Lynne…I got the ticket the very first day. It’s hard for another generation to understand what this concert meant to someone like me who gave up hope years ago about the chance to see ELO in concert. I cried of joy. It was magnificent!
It was so good that I got emotional and shed some tears. Great harmonies and wonderful to see so many familiar faces in the band. I didn't want the show to end!
Been loving ELO since a youngster back in 1975 when Bev Bevan was with Jeff and the fellow Maestros. Donavan is a special drummer to get Jeff's seal of approval, and nailing Bev's licks.
I went to the concert in toronto on monday , i almost cried so amazing . I was eleven when i see for the very first time ELO on tv in EL Salvador , I couldnt believe that i was listening to Jeff Lynne live i love it long life to Jeff.
Thanks so much for posting this concert, Andy! I loved it! I was supposed to attend the "Over and Out" (last tour) concert in Boston, MA this September. It's the closest city to me 1 hour away but, I couldn't get transportation there!! This concert right now, is the closest I'm getting to enjoy the ELO concert 2024 and seeing Jeff the "GOAT" Lynne and his amazing group, for the last time. It's bittersweet for me, because I've been so attached to Jeff Lynne's ELO from the very beginning! Jeff Lynne's unique and amazing music will live on forever!!
This concert presented 19 songs. This video contains (11) Fire on High, (12) Livin' Thing, (13) Last Train to London, (14) All Over the World, and (15) Turn to Stone.
I adore him. Always have. Been a part of me since I first heard him on the 45 “ Turned to Stone”. Must have been about 9. I KNEW I liked ELO RIGHT THEN. I am so glad that I lived and grew up with Jeff and ELO. One way love, but I will take that over nothing at all.🥰
Last train to London and and my 14 golden years that like Jeff and the old E.L.O and the renewed ones never die they are always there without a reason...eternally 🙂🙂
Started listening to ELO (and The Move before that) in 71 when I was 15 - and still listening in 2024 at nearly 68. Seen them live a few times in various line-ups, last in Leeds (UK) Arena. Jeff Lynne's creative genius as a music writer, arranger, producer for ELO is epic. Coupled with his other band memberships and writing, arranging and production for other artists he's been a musical landslide for longer than most. I so hope they get to the UK as part of this tour.
I was there... GREAT concert! Sounded even more phenomenal live, but you can actually here everything more distinctly in this video... so that's really cool. Thank you so much for posting this. The only concert that was as good as this one was the concert they did 5 years ago in Portland, lol.
Sheesh thank you for posting this. You got a great capture. Very clear and their visual show is incredible. Awesome. Gonna miss Jeff. Hope this tour comes out on disc.
14th row on the floor right in the middle, such a kick ass concert, perfect for 65 year old geezers like me. The guy who recorded this must have been super close to me. It just goes to show that you can be 76 years old and still bring it. Wonderful group of musicians, I really love Milton MDonald's guitar playing (guy with glasses on the left if you're facing the stage). So good having the two vocalists who can fill in the original parts that Jeff can no longer sing, they're both fantastic singers. The drummer (sorry I don't remember his name) was cracking man, nailed everything, powerhouse drummer. The hits just kept coming and coming, they only played one song that I didn't recognize, my bad. All in all, money well spent. It's too bad I'm running out of these icons from the 70's who we'll never get to see again. You made it a memorable night Mr. Lynne, thank you.
Enjoy! I was at the Portland concert. It was fantastic. JL is up there in years so his voice isn’t quite what it used to be, but the band and background singers are so incredibly good they more than make up for it.
@@tomk4484 exactly, and its also really about the music itself. From everything I've seen posted, the band sounds phenominal, so it's ok if his voice isn't quite what it used to be.
@@JeffLynnesELOFan Is he ok health wise? He's passed on his iconic solos to his 'lead' guitar & his rhythm guitar playing looks 'hesitant' & is very low in the sound mix.
Finally! Someone did quality sneak peek at what I and others on the Over And Out VIP Experience. After his first performance at start of tour, he got mixed reviews. ELO pays attention. :-)
I was so disappointed to hear that this would be Jeff Lynn’s last tour, and I wanted so much to see one of the concerts, but this video has changed my mind.
