0:55(ish) - i remember activating that first Skyview Tower, at LookoutLanding...when the 'Guardian Legs' come out to hook up Link's Pad, you can see the PTSD on Link's face as he tries to squirm away...but by the time you activate your Second Tower, the cutscene goes much quicker because Link "lets it" hook him up...

This whole game makes me give small amounts of credit to banjo nuts and bolts for starting a blue print for the gameplay style of this one, even if it’s unintentional

"Let's go primitive!" Proceeds to use magic tech that can levitate and spawn items in mid air and rewind time, lol. Great video!

my favorites are Talus at Home and Solid Snake, though I must say the Pan of Pain has great potential.

The Solid Snake has everything: ~Destiny ~Feeling of Inner Peace ~Feels safe ~Feeling of belonging ~True happiness ~Dumbass box is a decent disguise (no longer limited to wearing it inside a building) I don't think I'm wrong here. Big Boss was onto something here.

I love the idea that link is a caveman with a phobia of technology.

Definitely want to do a no tech run, just conflicted on how far the rules should go

I have some constructive thoughts: Make the solid snake smaller with the square pieces of wood or stone, so that you can use it anywhere Make the pan of pain out of yiga spike plates Make the bottoms of all the rocks lay flat for the talus at home to reduce survival rates, maybe try making it out of flat stone walls and call it the pancake

Use the much taller/smoother trunk trees in Heba for the log build.

Please listen to me. The best land vehicle by FAR is literally 5 pieces 4 small wheels placed around a control stick it’s extremely battery efficient fast and has good turning but it’s a bit beefy when turning left to right and it can’t go over much

I tried attaching horns to a homing roomba, but it didn't damage anything. Attaching a fused weapon, on the other hand, made a danger roomba with a knife. My favorite was the Solid Snake.

Why didn't you just put wagon wheels on the ends of the logs?

Man these ultra hand shenanigans really make the game. I wasen't very experimental in Breath of the Wild because getting every power at the start ended up with a pretty reliable solution at the beginning that I relied on. Then we get Tears of the Kingdom, you sort of get every power at the start but all these Zonai devices and just being able to stick things together can be so hilarious that I'm experimenting now even if the solutions arn't as practical.

A fast no tech sky launch anywhere you want. Get a spear fused with a board. Put a separate wooden board on the ground. Throw the spear above the board on the ground, but immidately recall it, but before it moves ultra hand it. Don't throw it at the board, or at the ground, just straight ahead. If you grabbed the spear at the right time it should be at a 45 degree angle. Don't rotate the spear. Attach the side edge of the board on the end of the spear, with the edge of the board on the ground. Stand on the board and then recall the spear. The whole peice will lift, move along the spears past, then shoot back and immidately and rotate 45 degrees launching link into the sky, sometimes far higher than what a skyview tower could do, and it only takes 3 seconds if you learn to do it.

What’s funny about this video is this is just tears of the kingdom, no bugs no glitches just a fun game

(Sarcastic commentary) If you want simplistic, then I have a giant club for you. The Batter Up, if you need an enemy to go flying, then nothing says life like a pair of giant high speed spinning logs on a no technology budget. The Batter Up instructions: Get a piece of zoanite, drop it on the ground, shoot an arrow into a corner of said zoanite so it spins, retrieve arrow (Optional), spawn two logs glued together, now quickly attach said logs to zoanite, use recall on zoanite when enemy is near enough and remember to get clear before you get hit with your own giant baseball bat. Add boulders for extra random projectiles. Any enemy that is weak to blunt force will be guaranteed to be sent flying. The Batter Up, you're enemies will be run home! Warning: We are not responsible for log related bludgeoning deaths, broken spines or caved in skulls or random baseball stadiums that pop up out of nowhere. As far as caveman tech goes, there's the Self Launcher. Self Launcher build instructions: Get six boards of wood and something heavy, create a right angle using two boards and make a triangle with the ground, make a long wooden plank to use as a seesaw from the other four boards, now stand on one end and drop something heavy on the other. Cheap and affordable for all you're self launching needs. Self-Launcher, it'll get you higher in life! Warning: May require a glider before using effectively, we are not responsible or to be held liable for injuries occurred from being Self-Launched, all restrictions and trademarks are applied. If you're going to be using bow and arrows and no technology, then there's The Archer Post. The Archer Post: six planks of wood, one rod of wood. Use five planks to create a plus shaped base, use the rod in the middle of said base, place platform to shoot from. For optional archery help, add more wood for barriers to prevent projectiles from hitting you. The Archer Post does not contain extra bows or arrows. It may help you get arrows though if the enemy shoots it enough. It's mobile and lightweight, you can even drop it on your enemies. If you have enemies, then maybe some arrows will point them in the right direction, The Archer Post! Warning: Some assembly required, look for you're nearest Hudson home supplies depot for more details, be wary of flying bokoblins thrown by moblins.

How do you get those steel spikes you used on the solid snake one? I've been trying to find one for hours

best no battery build i've seen yet: take 4 motors and turbines from the gimimik shrine (fuse to shield and de-fuse at tarry town or just attach the turbine to the motor and use autobuild) trap an electric chu in a cage, attach said cage to a metal floor (the build i seen had a wood floor), put a wood panel on top to stand on, attach motor turbines to corners of wood panel, run sword from the cage to the motors. the guy used this and flew from the ground to the height limit, with no battery usage. the chu powered the motors, the motors produced lift. was frikken brilliant.

This restored my motivation after losing it seeing other building mechas while I struggle with a ship. I prefer the box, it's simple, effective and can be used in different ways.

The pan of pain with metal blocks and the yiga spike metal would work best. They can be attached on the part closest to the handle, because most enemies path to you, and it frequently does damage as enemies run into it. Metal also doesn't break and doesn't burn, which will keep you from losing your contraption. Shaking the pan and then using reverse on it might do wonders as well.

Love the pan of doom. I'm definitely making that one.

For the log trap, try making some steel poles instead

THIS is the kind of stuff I was expecting to do in TotK when they said you could fuse stuff. Even with all the zonai stuff, I am not disappointed by caveman chic.

where do you get the spikes to make the pan?

So I made this really effective land Rover for the underground with a massive Lazer turret but the item limit was reached. I am now currently wondering if there is a way to make a hitch, creat a second cart with one massive set of cannons and just tow it along(kinda like the spirit train from spirit tracks) If it works that means that TECHNICALLY the build limit can be surpassed

Seeing a Guardian in a TotK video makes me want someone to wither mod them in or Nintendo release a DLC with a bunch of the stuff that was removed between BotW and TotK. I was honestly hoping to have a guardian that you could basically turn into a vehicle using ultrahand

11:03 - Have you tried sneaking into a Yiga Clan hideout and putting spiked walls on a log? Maybe wrap the log with 'spiked shields' (since they have legitimate curvature to them) and roll them on unsuspecting enemies?

When you have batteries, put some lasers inside the snake box, put on a Lynel and sit back and relax.

Could prob attach a blue chuchu to a single log at the front- then shoot that to break the connection and all the other logs will fall

Zelda and Metal Gear are a match made in heaven.

Sometimes you think you kind of understand something, then someone shows you the thoughts you had were so insignificant. Just like the stasis rune, I've felt like rewind hasn't had much use outside the original shrine and Temple of Time, I've never once even considered using it to rewind my own builds. Also, seeing the frying pan in the thumbnail or preview, I thought it would be the classic box, stick & string trap.

Another one i just did by accident was put one of those cages in the camps over a boss bokoblin ... and then moving the cage with the boss bokoblin over to the camp fire and watch it burn to death. 😁
