Hand down one of the best tutorial channels. His packs are great. I bought a couple of the techno wave table packs and the racks are superb. I use the effects chains all the time.
@@audioreakt made so many tracks using your racks, and they even got released haha... Example, that "boer" pad is definitely one of my favorites. I'm more into really slow but hard and dark tracks and it's just perfect for that.
Hey mate I've been trying to learn mixing techno kicks with sub-bass and struggling a bit . Always sounds boomey or muddy . The techno beat that you had playing behind the ableton drift keys at the end of this video is what I'm trying to get right . I was wondering if you had any tutorials explaining different types of techno kicks and sub -bass mixing . Always love the work you put forward , thanks .
it's often more about sound selection and making sure you get the right kick with the right bass than mixing. I rarely do magic mixing trick when it come to mixing.
EQ frequencies around the 300hz mark with a relatively wide cut. This takes out the booming sound. Try a wide EQ cut and drag it around the mid lied until it disappears. Mud is generally around the 500-700hz mark. Cut here too. But yes a good sample selection is ultimately the key to a good kick. Good luck.
