I feel like people forget that you can setup your own keybinds for literally anything, super good to look through. you will def learn lots of new stuff
0:47 For most songs just doing this won't work like you would like it to work. So you can: 1) add a Low pass effect to the song 2) Set the pass to something like 20-120 (play around see what value gives you the most bass but also eliminates the rest of the song) 3) Set the Wet value to 400% 4) Convert Audio To KeyFrames Nou you should have much more accurate results!
I'm a beginner and I love your videos. Super useful even though I have to further research some things. This is my favourite channel. Please keep making the beginner level tutorials too. Many thanks :)
If only I'd seen this video last week! I spent hours manually creating a mask version of a text string to use in an animation!! I'm loving your tutorials though, found your channel initially looking for methods to morph within After Effects.
Hey, you mean another 5 hidden features? I was maybe thinking about 5 plugins, or 5 workflow tips, or 5 things you are doing wrong... what do you think?
I wish you got more views because I'm afraid you don't get paid enough for these videos. Everything is so high quality, and extremely user-friendly. Thank you!! P.S. I dig your tattoos!!
Another meticulously prepared video tutorial for After Effects from flomotion. And if talent and ingenuity aren’t enough, then a display of tattoos will win over that section of the audience who value such things.
Problem is, that I already work full time + do this... and by full time I mean FULL time... but hey, if it is interesting, why not! So what is it all about?
Now I see drumss, I assume you play rock and roll lol. I have to say your videos are on a different level, so Goodd. the hidden details like how when you are explaining and you are showing at the top right , your hair is rotoscoped on top of the circle.
Haha... and if i turn the camera even more, you would see a bass and even more guitars!! And yes, nice spot! My hair is actually keyed on top of the circle... secret: the whole shot is a greenscreen shot!! 😎
@@flo.motion woww, never would have thought it will be a green screen. that texture of light, frame right close to the drums, is it CG? how did you do it?
Hi, thanks for this tips. I have one more hidden feature where no menu-entry exists. You get only access to it in the context-menu if you have selected the right tool. Namely to convert point-text ot paragraph-text and vice versa. 1. Selcet the text-layer you want to convert in the timeline 2. Switch to the text-tool(!) -> this is the crucial point, it won't work with the selection-tool. 3. Do a click with the right-mouse-buttom on selected text-layer in the composition-window. -> If the selected text-layer is a point-text than you will see an entry "Convert to Paragraph Text" or respectively "Conver to Point Text" if the layer was a paragraph text I hope this was a useful tip for you :-)
Content Aware Fill almost works....but not well enough yet. It's a good start but Adobe needs to make it perfect because what good is a shot if you erase something and can still see traces of it? Or even worse, you see artifacts.
Totally got you!! I worked on many of those shots over the years... believe me, I would have paid 100s of Dollars to have that tool! Because it is way more easy to remove some artefacts, then a person or whatever it is! And if After Effects can do it all alone, we don't have a job anymore!! 😬😂
hey man listen... you are OMG... you are the greatest of all times... YESS!!! I said it... daaammnnn ,... who ever clicked the dislike button is going straight to hell without judgement. Tank you brother... keep going
@@flo.motion I don't know if it is possible but, a tutorial like the "Us"(the Jordan Peele movie) title sequence, would be nice ! and thanks for replying!
Your channel is absolutely the best!!!! Thank you for everything !!!! Can you show us and give us more examples about camera in AE, if it is possible. Thanks in advance.
@@flo.motion How the effects is done. I suspect there is a mask/layer parented to the magnifying glass picture transparent part and the distortion effect is applied to that mask/layer. Not sure exactly how though. There are tuts out there I have seen, but I really love the way you did it.
Hi, very usefull. I have a doubt, what if you need to change the content text in layer from outside using the Layer name, not the Source name. This work with the Source name: compName = comp("15").name; //15 is taked from the Source name
Hi, after 7 years i pick up AE again. Your tuturials are great en pro ... but it would be even better if you could provide the original footage with the tuturials. So then we ( i ) could follow the tuturals better.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I get that question about the footage a lot. At the moment I am trying to figure out a way how to do it... because you can not download footage from youtube, right? so any suggestions on how to do it?
