What about a mass retail release of Gundam Wing's Tauros suit? I've heard it's REALLY pricy... or had a very limited release. PS: Let me rephrase that... It had a VERY crappy release.
RG ZZ Gundam is probably next year. If they are going to do another MGEX it is going to have to be a certain MS that won a poll, but still doesn't have that MG yet. The last 2 haven't justified the sub-line yet. We want to see MGEX not variant kits of already established MGs.
almost all of 00 gunpla had such a small release window you'd be lucky to find anything beyond the main gundams, the innovators, and the GN-X models. no Taozi (the tan units with the chin mounted machineguns), the HRL's grunt machine (i think it's the Teiren) including the artillery variant, and the Hellion the rival to the Flag.
@@jetblackangelX and what, 20 years for the Destroy? Even longer for the Psycho Mk-II (assuming it actually DOES come out - given the history of stuff like the MG Age-3/Age-FX)
@@ethanspaziani1070 And then you read further about stuff that happens post-Marimeya and you learn of the Leo mkIII that is a gundam level grunt unit making even the Serpent pale in comparison, that bad boy is a freaking BEAST.
"Relative" small It's almost the height of normal HG MS and also bulky. In fact this is the case with all 1/400 scale. They're actually pretty cool and comes prepainted, and if you consider this fact, also affordable.
I agree with the Virgo and Virgo II needing kits, and getting HG releases for the Taurus and Guaiz. As for other MS that I've been wanting kits for: the Hecate, Wuxia, and Mazraster from G-Reco; the Bearguy II from GBF; the Cannon Illefuto, Mahiroo, and Bandit from Turn A; the Tieren Flight/High Mobility type, and the Alvaron from 00.
We need a model kit of the colony devil gundam though, now that is going to be massive than all the giant mobile armors or even the psycho gundams combined
Was thinking about Wing kits the other day, and yeah the Virgo and especially the Taurus need modern kits. The Taurus in particular, it's bizarre for how cool the design is, and how central it is to Wing's story, that it only got one ancient throwaway kit. The other big kit that needs to be made is the Tequila Gundam. It's such a legit awesome design, and did make an appearance in Build Divers.
@@animemusicarchive5292 i know, but bandai always had open preorder for either g-unit OR wing kit, never for both at the same time. Which means, probably no altron until burnlapius releases... or maybe even no altron at all, because recently we had two g-unit preorders in a row.
@@acidous Tbh I am not sure which they would make first if its griepe or hydra for g-unit or altron, no news for either. And I did not know that the prometheus gundam has a different name, I heard that gundam as prometheus and not burnlapius.
I gotta shout out Den'an Gei. I adore those F91 designs and while the Den'an Zon had an old 1/100, Den'an Gei is still waiting. Resin doesn't count for me, this is gunpla, not gunres lol
I do believe firmly that the Alvaaron from Gundam 00 deserves some love. With or without its Alvatore mobile armor. Also, justice for the Leopard and Leopard Destroy. I would also like an updated HGCE Justice and Strike Noir. Am I the only one? Maybe also a M1A Astray (the blue one with the sniper variant of the normal beam rifle, which should be easy enough to do.)
Here are some of mine: - HG versions of Capule/Kapool (highly possible because HG Momokapool exists) - Alvatore/Alvaaron - Desultor - Prodoros - Union Realdo - AEU Helion - Mahiroo (being featured in Gundam Evolution might give this MS slight boost on fame) - Non-SD version of the Knight Gundam (as seen in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3) - Gadelaza (only scratch builts exist) - Celestial Being color Flag (prototypes of the gunpla exist, but it never went into production) Honorable mentions: - Gaga - Anf - Zamza-zah/Gells-Ghe - Empruss/Regnant - Fanton - Barbus - Borjarnon (it's basically a Zaku) - HG Sumo
I'm suprised the B-Club resin Virgo and Virgo-II models didn't come up. I mean yeah they don't count as genuine Gunpla but I'd think they'd be worth mentioning at least. Not to mention the fact the Virgo is like 65% Mercurius/Vayeate parts so they could double their money by reworking a Virgo model into them or vice-versa.
just goes to show how obscure some B-Club releases were. Noin's Taurus is one of those kits thats high in value thanks soley to rarity. Though Im positive Wing will get more of its units made in a modern kit form, they're working through G-Unit and the 30th Anniversary is just next year, so i expect they'll do stuff like this
@@ORLY911 I actually bought the B-club Virgo model off of HLJ ages ago, it taught me not only the skill level required to build such things, but also that it was far and above beyond what I was capable of. I completely destroyed the thing trying to assemble it.
I completely agree with the Virgo we need both version 1 and the white fang upgraded mark 2. There are so many great wing series suits that need to be made from the Aries, both the black and white Taurus, then there's the serpent from endless waltz. We need them!
I could definitely get behind a mass-production Quebley, Queen Mansa, and Taurus. I'd love to have a modern HGUC white Taurus! Virgos would be cool too; I'll always want more Wing grunts that people can use for Wing dioramas, but the color schemes of the Taurus are incredibly pleasing to look at.
TIL there is no mass-production Qubeley model kit. That seems like such a no-brainer. And obviously as someone who grew up with Wing I would love the Virgo and a (new) Taurus.
I just want to mention that Bandai made a "ZAFT Frame" for the MG Zaku Warrior that was reused for the GINN. It could be possible that Bandai could produce a MG CGUE or MG GuAIZ+variants with the frame.
@@Shin_Lonawell it does take time to produce MGs especially if they are going to make a new inner frame. If the Second season MS started development after the Virtue's release then it could take a couple of years or more. Also, releases of similar looking kits are spaced out in order to reduce self competition.
I think that the 4 Heavenly Kings from G Gundam deserve a mention here. Model kits of the Grand, Walter and Heaven Sword along side a new Master Gundam HG could also open the door for the first Model Kit of the Grandmaster Gundam
Wish they did any of the other suits from AOZ that arent Titans/ReZeon like the Gundam Kestrel or a proper Wagtail GM. Runnerups for me are Walpurgis' Over.on and more of the Warriors games' regular sized versions of the SDs (Knight when?).
That mobile suit is inspired by the mobile suit in zeta gundam named quebeley that was piloted by haman karn, even the list of weapons are similar to each other having beam sabers and funnel bits.
I keep hoping for Gundam Aquarius to have an actual release at some point along with several of the other kits. The Virgo actually has a 3rd Party kit that converts a Leo, there's been a few videos on it that I've stumbled onto and I keep looking for one of the kits.
The biggest example of this for me is the Le Cygne. I get the manga is on indefinite hiatus (TL: silently cancelled) but the Le Cygne is such a gorgeous design, and as a main Gundam should really get some attention. With Bandai recently making more feMC Gundams between Peche and Suletta, I feel it really needs a resurgence.
They're definitely some units that I would love to see get model kids although I prefer figures. Whether it's a model kit or a figure there are a number of mobile suits I would love to see or others that I wish would get re releases.
I'm fine with these lesser know Mobile Suits getting the A.N.I.M.E and Ver. KA treatment. They go along pretty well with HGUC kits. The Hi Nu Mass Production was announced some months ago.
The Delta family line gets this treatment. Despite having a really good HG Delta Gundam, the HG Delta Gundam Custom and MG Delta Plus is… less than stellar.
lol, that doesn't really count. It's absolutely tiny. Quin-Mantha/Mansa DID get a 1/400 kit. It's like over a hundred bucks and will never get reprinted but it does exist!!
The best/worst part about the Taurus is you have 2 potential variants. Black, white (sanq kingdom) and red (white fang) the only difference is the color and that the sanq variant carried beam sabers. That’s it.
There's also another gold mine they ignore, it's the FLAG from 00. They made 3 HGs, but then just forget about it. They could make the heavy armor version, Celestial Being version, etc. But nope, they did not do anything
GKM has a fantastic cover kit that turns the Leo into a Virgo. Uses red and black resin, making minimal painting needed. In addition, it comes with magnets for the sheild defenser units in the shoulder.
@@Char0622 it is not supposed to be hard for them to make a 1/144 hg queen mantha now that kshatriya is there for a long time, even more so for virgo by just tweaking the pbandai vayeate and mercurius
Ah! I was just making a shopping list for HGUC kits, today! This video is a perfect chance for me to speak about how many old kits there are of F91 and Victory that don't have a modern revival, like the Guntank R-44 which had it's cannon blow up because it was a museum piece, or the G-Cannon, which killed that mother with its falling shells.
Respect for the Virgo choice, most of my most wished for kits are from GW as well in this order: Cancer, Pisces, Aries, Virgo 2, Taurus, Virgo, and Magnamac (thankfully we got a P-Bandai release a while ago for this one).
I would love pretty much any grunts from Victory/Crossbone era. Some Victory BESPA units got old kits, but those ain't getting reprints. In particular gimme the Zondo Gei and their relatives, and gimme a Gedlav with the wheels and a Zanneck
YES! GuAiz-R, my favourite mobile suit in all of Gundam, definitely needs a gunpla! I've seen images of a simple action figure, but nothing else. I'm actually finishing up my MG Providence at the moment (right arm, head, skirt dragoons remain), and that shield with the giant beam saber reminds me so much of the GuAiz-R's shield...
OZ-07AMS Aries, OZ-07MS Tragos, OZ-08MMS Cancer, OZ-09MMS Pisces, OZ-12SMS Taurus & OZ-12SMS Taurus Sanc Kingdom version and in the video OZ-02MD Virgo & WF-02MD Virgo II all the GUNDAM WING SERIES MOBILE SUIT.
My obscure choice is the sazabi heavy equipment ground type. It’s a mass production one that gets rid of the psycommu and the funnels and gives it a beam machine gun. It pairs perfectly with the mass production nu gundam
Good video! I think my most-wanted Gunpla would have to be an HG Xamel, for sure, but also the Anf from Gundam 00, which is a more obscure mobile suit people know less by name, unlike a Tieren. The Anf is the first mobile suit you see in Gundam 00, and it has a stark, iconic appearance in my opinion. Funnily enough, both the Anf and the Xamel have a "nose" style body and head type, I'd love to see this design get more kit love!
I wanted a Virgo kit, since I was a child. That one could be easy too, since its parts are probably similar to Vayeate and Mercurius, which already had kits, and they weren't even very bad for old HG kits.
Virgo may come as the parts are very similar to the Mercurius and Vayeate. Would be odd to limit the base molds to just 2 kits. The LEO was well worth the wait and the Maganac was the oddest mass kit choice to produce. As for the Taurus and Aries, I doubt it, and worse the Pisces and Cancer. But then again they did make the Geminas 1 and 2.
The Bishop, which as I understand it was one of the prototypes for the Zeong. I fly the thing pretty often in GBO2 and the idea of a Zaku that can launch its arms sounds awesome.
SEED/Destiny have a few I badly want as HGs, two of which got No Grades (the DINN and the GuAIZ) and another that never got a kit at all (whatever the transforming tank suit is called). Also, actually getting ALL the various GINN weapons in plamo form sure would be nice!
The tank's called Zuuot, Cosmic Era version of the R-44 Guntank. Come to think it, ZAFT could've dominate in armored warfare had the BuCues were UGVs (drones). Not to mention the big boi Regenerate. GuAIZ R, GuAIZ EFT, Raider Full Spec, DINN Raven, Hyperion, Dreadnought, what else from CE that really need at least a HG kit.
I want all of the Wing mobile suits. Aries, Taurus(Black HG and White RG), Cancer, Pisces, Mercurius, Vayeate (there's a P-Bandai HG kit with both of these, but they need non exclusive versions), Virgo and Virgo II at the very least. I have most everything else that's available in HG or RG form, so I want to finish my collection
Kowloon Gundam definitely my wishlist to be an HG. A badass chonk-armored mobile fighter one. It's like an early-type just like Shining Gundam (Kowloon) before evolving to God (Master) Gundam.
Mass Production Type ZZ Gundam, Guntank Mass Production Type, Jagd Doga sleeves variant, zaku iii sleeves variant and the aqua gm. Most of which could honestly be remolds with some new prices with little effort.
Quin Matha, and MOST of the OZ mobile suits, are high on that consideration for me. I adore SEED-timeline designs, but I'm not the most disappointed by some of their absences. Whereas the bigger-focus antagonist or recurring Unit MS are a bigger deal to me.
There’s resin kits of the Quinn atleast - it’s my husband’s fav suit and he has a collection of the ones you can get. There’s an SD and a very tiny kit that comes with the Le Vie En Rose
Its cool that they are looking to do the Psycho Gundam Mrk 2. I think Mobile Armors in general get the shaft a lot of the time, as well as the Ships too. I know asking for a 1/144 scale White Base would be huge but look at what the Star Trek franchise does for this ship building kits, I would lose my damn mind if I saw an Archangel at 1/144 scale.
One honorable mention(s) is ALL of the mobile suits that appeared in WfM, but never got model kits. Why give the Prodoros more screen-time than the Heindree, Heindree Sturm, & Zowort Heavy? They got model kits, but barley appeared in the show!
The MP Qubeley is an interesting case. On the one hand, it has one foot in the door by sharing a lot of it's form with the original Qubeley, which could be used as the basis for a remold. On the other, Gundam ZZ is a black sheep of the franchise, beaten out only by Gundam X for how little consumers give a single toss about it. The only reason it gets any attention from Bandai at all is that it's still a mainline U.C. series, with several of its suits making prominent appearances in the beloved Unicorn.
I usually go exclusively 1/100 scale, so even if Bandai wanted to cut a few corners by releasing them as something like RE/100 instead of full MG, I'd be pleased. My list: - Noin's Aries - Sanc Kingdom Aries - Corin Nander's Custom Kapool - Daryl's Acguy from Thunderbolt I also think the whole Acguy squad would make an awesome HG set.
One from the recent series that I feel is a crime to have forgotten is the Devil Gundam V2 showing up at the tail end of Build Divers, that thing looked AWESOME.
I think virgo is hard to produce especially the planet defensor system, the funnel is great because it's not in front of the mobile suit but planet defensor is in front and could block the full view of the mobile suit
I wouldn’t say Quebeley is my favourite Gundam series mecha, but I always thought it was the most out of left field Zeon machine design that just hits hard for me. I have the HG version and someday maybe I’ll get the MG Quebeley.
Ever since I first became aware of it in your GINN development history video, I have desperately wanted a kit of the GINN Assault Type. Given that the GINN already has HG and MG kits that could be used as a basis (if I bit old), I'd love to see one. Hell, I'd even put up with it being P-Bandai.
Honestly looking at it hard to find a mobile suit that hasn’t had a model kit made (and few of those just bearly count) but did find one one in dom barrage, a version of dom that makes the normal one looks small.
I still want them to re-release some of their vehicles like the 1/35 twin barreled tank or that hoverbike they put out with the ground war set, it would be cool to see an mg version of that transport they used in 8th MS team or the one the leader from Tekkedan from IBO rode around in(but specifically the tank). I'd also like to finally see a MG Kshytria (sorry if I spelled that wrong)!!!! Wouldn't mind seeing more of the spaceships as well, lol.
What I really want to see is something along the lines of a RG or MG ship line for the Archangel, White Base, Eternal... I know there's an EX model line, but they require painting and the detail is kind of lacking. But hell yes to Virgo and Taurus. I'm actually kinda surprised they haven't made a modern Taurus, if for no other reason than they can have the black one for standard retail and a white Sanc Kingdom version exclusive to P-Bandai for more $$$.
I feel like this could be a running series. I hope you do more. My list is more for kits that deserve 2.0s like the MG 08th line especially the gouf custom or the MG GP series of kits
