@@carolannontario although i completed the hike solo, if was far from that. i couldn't have done it without the help of all the volunteers, organizers, friends and family, and of course my wife.
The Bruce Trail goes through or near some campgrounds (a very nice one is Bruce Peninsula National Park). Other than those campgrounds, camping is only allowed at designated overnight areas along the trail, and there are very few of those. I believe the Bruce Trail website has a list of places where camping is allowed along the trail
One idea is to go out on some hikes that are organized by the Bruce Trail clubs or sections. I met a lot of other hikers doing that. The Bruce Trail website has a list of hikes in the different sections that you can sign up for.
