Absolutely love this. My beautiful wife got sick and was taken to heaven and now I'm on my own. She did most of the cooking and sorta left me at a loss . I was always making to much following regular recipes. These ideas seem perfect for one person. Will probably try them all. Thank you.
Genius!! I absolutely LOVE watching your videos. I'm making all of these recipes. Seriously though, you need to publish a cookbook. I'm sure many others would agree. You have such a sweet spirit!! You have a beautiful family. In a world where everything is falling apart, you are a beckon of light for your community. So glad I found your channel!! God Bless!!!
These are super awesome ideas! My dear, you never disappoint! Such an amazing young lady. Will definitely be making these recipes! May God bless y'all sweetie 🙏
I made the cream cheese & jam filled rolls & they were delicious! 💯❤🥐🍓 I used organic less sugar strawberry & raspberry jams! The raspberry were our favorite! ❤🍓
I love that you embrace the simplicity and versatility of all things. I can't wait to try different versions of the handpies! We love using these exact crusts for quiche, chicken pot pie, and "crispy sticks" it is like breadsticks with soup, but just twisted up and oiled/seasoned and bakes. they look so pretty and fancy, but really arent!
For Christmas, I'm making gift baskets of homemade goodies (jam, pickles, liqueur, etc) and officially I'm now adding in these cheesecake bites 😍 Maybe with a seasonal cranberry orange filling? Oooh, can't wait!
@@melanieflythe4672 I know you jest but this actually means a lot! It'll be my first year doing something like this and I'm a little nervous the family won't like it. But if it sounds nice to complete strangers, I'm more sure the people who know and love me will appreciate it 😊
@@Batsnang If I were one of your family members I'd be thrilled to get that gift. I've always preferred handmade gifts/cards, etc vs store bought. Even Birthday cakes. My mom made ours every yr. Though not from scratch I still appreciate it. In fact that's what made me love homemade vs store bought. I love to bake. If your family's anything like mine they're going to love those gifts. Great, creative idea, btw... 👍🏻
Julia.. you really should put all of these ideas in one book. Ide buy it ,actually several and give it as gifts to everyone.. they're fun and easy and delicious...thank you got sharing.
Prayers to you and sorry for your loss. You will never be a disappointment because she knew you and your heart. Love does that to a person. Have a blessed day. Arlene from Ohio
Awe Julia, you culinary genius you!! I love these pie dough ideas, and I plan to use your cheesecake recipe for dessert tonight!! You have saved my bacon so many times when I'm stuck for dinner recipes. Heartfelt thanks for all the fabulous ideas!❤🦋💜
Oh my goodness! Made pie crust 'cheesecake' recipe with home made strawberry jam - the first batch hubby and son stood at the counter and ate them ALL! Whew, I guess that's a winner, thank you so much you made them very happy😁
Julia, I find it appropriate you display wonderful little signs like "You are Loved" during your videos...because YOU Julia are loved. Yours is the first You Tube video I check daily always hoping to find you doing anything! You are a terrific You Tuber whose channel I expect will soon find 300K subscribers. I'm pleased to count me as one of your faithful followers. Very well done Julia. From the Idaho panhandle...
I found two recipes on a website called Makes and Takes, one was for mini meatloaves, with BBQ sauce and cheese on top, and the other was for mini German pancakes. I bought a mini muffin pan and went to town with these recipes. My husband was sick and was unable to eat the food he loved, red beans and rice, and the other I am unable to remember. But these were easy for him to digest, and we loved them. He went to hospice shortly after and went on to glory about a week or so later. I was able to make food he could enjoy before he left. That was very important to me. When someone is sick, sometimes they lose their appetite. So when they enjoy their food, it can be very rewarding to the spouse who cooks. And a good memory of their time with you. I love these recipes. The mini quiches are great for adding in things children might not normally eat. The mini pizzas are great for small children too or a child or adult with special needs. Not as messy as a regular pizza for a three or four year old, or a mentally challenged adult. I am a former child care worker, so I look for things that would be much easier for children to eat or use. And who doesn't love finger foods? God bless you and your family.
I’m so sorry to hear about your husband but so grateful that you were able to come up with some meals that helped during that time thank you so much for listening to my channel❤️
Sue here: they all look so good. I'm going to make each recipe. Love your perfect pace, explaining, and personality. Thank you for your channel. Love it!
Love how you’re always using baby spoons/forks! I do it too🙂 I also love to use a mini wooden spoon that was part of my Granddaughter’s kitchen play set!
I always enjoy your energy and recipes. I’m so sorry I’m watching my 5 month old granddaughter and instead of hitting the like I hit the dislike. There is nothing to dislike about your cooking programs I share then with all my children 🤗
You are so very sweet, Donna! Thank you so very much for your positive comment and no worries about that dislike button. I’m happy to hear that you are with your granddaughter! Have a wonderful rest of your week😉💜💜
Loved this video! I haven’t seen one of your videos in a year or so and noticed how much your channel has grown. You seem like such a sweetheart and I’m so happy to see you doing well!
Last halloween since we couldn’t trick or treat I made those pizza pockets in a pumpkin shape and they are such a good treat for a small party like that.
I’ve made mini pot pies with the pie crust. The filling is easy to make in one pot and the pies can be frozen and reheated. I am SO trying that cheesecake and pizza pockets! You make everything look so easy to cook, it gets me pulling out my shopping list every time to add more stuff!
I have 4 mini iron skillets. I could make up some individual blueberry or peach pot pies. I have slow churned vanilla ice cream, too. I have lemon curd but that had to be encased in the pie crust. I think they'd be cute as little desserts.
I love this Julia! I try my best to avoid gluten but I appreciate the versatility of this dough. I have to try this with the grandkids for a food project day (their favorite). Also, you inspired me so I had to subscribe! TFS❣️
Excellent fresh new take on older recipes (hand pies = empanadas, raspberry/cheesecake rollups = rugala. I'm not criticizing just further pointingout your genius)! I'm an elder man who has been cooking since I was 9 years old and back in the 1960s things still took a long time to prep. Thanks for making cooking easier while keeping it healthy and delicious for all of us.
Well thank you so very much for that very positive feedback. And yes, I think most meals out there are re-creations of older ones. Ha ha! Thank you so very much again for watching and I sure do appreciate your support here🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hi Julia! I can count on you to bring it! You have the best recipes! Just had some dental work done so I’m not eating much but really soft foods. Grits and eggs mainly. But when I can go for it again, I’m making these! Thanks Julia! ❤️💜💚
I've had tooth problems in the past and once ate nothing but baby food. Had an abscess once or twice. Soft foods, antibiotics and pain medicine. Even went to church with the right side of my mouth out to here. I looked as if I had a ping pong ball in my mouth. I hope you feel better soon. God bless you.
@@grandcatsmama3421 I’m better thank you. Hope you are doing better as well. Tooth problems are just the worst! And it’s not cheap either! Take care!! ❤️💜💚
Julia I hope you're doing well, you sound like you've been going through it my dear. I always appreciate your ideas for meals and prepping made easy!! And delicious! Feel well, stay well. 💛
I always stock up on pie crust when they go on sale after Thanksgiving just for recipes like these. Hand pies and 'crusty cheeseburgers' as we call it are always a go to!
@@laughoutloud2334 I'm guessing she uses the pie crusts to make like a burger pie of sorts. Pinterest has many recipes . Or you could make them in to small sizes like she did here with the pie crusts recipes.
Hi Julia 😊. you're so creative.eachbof these are awesome ideas.i hope to try all of them.thank you so much for sharing your recipes 😋 hv a wonderful day 👍👍💐💐💐💐
Everything looked so yummy. Blueberry pies looked so good. Easy way of making fried pies. ☺️💖 Last recipe almost sounded like sloppy joes. ☺️😁 My kind of recipes.
They’re just pie dough, so if you don’t want to fry them just bake them the same temp she does for the other things in the video. There isn’t anything raw in them so it doesn’t matter how long, just watch them until they’re crispy and then take them out.
Julia I made the cheeseburger pie, it was fabulous 👍 I just added more ingredients and less onion, I myself love onions but my family doesn't, plus I added taco seasoning, just a little, garlic powder and egg washed the top. Thank you so much for making my life easier. God bless you and your family 🙏
That sounds amazing! Thank you so very much for sharing your version of this recipe and most of all, I’m so happy to hear that your family enjoyed it so much. Thank you so much for your positive comment and have a great week💜🙌🏼
I'm wondering if you can use an air fryer for the hand pies and any of the other ones. That cheese burger pie looks good, I will definitely be trying this.
I've made little apple & cherry pies in my air fryer, no problem. I've also made calzone. I'd also suggest reheating the quiches in the AF for a better result.
I love Quiche! Thank you!🌻💖😊 I am having a hard time keeping up with trying your recipes. Lol Now I need to try these. Good thing I can go to your page for them. Lol Tf all the wonderful recipes!
Julia,as always you've knocked this out of the park Thank you so much for sharing with us.I have learned such great ideas and recipes from you.🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️
You and your videos are so wonderful and awesome. I'm 75 years old, cooked all my life and have gotten really tired of cooking and being in the kitchen......fed up actually........but now you've given me so many new options and are simple, easy and cost friendly. Big Hugs honey!
These recipes sound Great. I think it's also great that you show your (Technique) on HOW you do these recipes. You give Very good instructions and I can see all the "Effort" work you put into making these videos. Thanks for what you do. Wishing you and yours well. .
