5-axis adaptive roughing: fast, collision-free machining of deep cavities - Tebis CAD/CAM 

This forging die was manufactured quickly and safely using efficient machining strategies such as 5-axis adaptive roughing and high-quality milling tools. Collision-free critical machining of deep cavities with short tool projection is possible through digital twins of tools and machines.
CAM programming is done using Tebis CAD/CAM software. This detects the residual stock areas on roughing and automatically switches to trochoidal roughing where necessary.
