To be fair that’s something capable by any master pilots as shown by the previous Shuffle Alliance members as well But only Asia showed actually killing Devil Mooks barehanded
Honestly, the fact that he was able to lift not only a 65 ton mobile suit, but the cement slab that it was standing on with his bare hands, catching the bullet from a MS rifle is nothing.
@@gespenstkai9487 Hell, in one of them, he was a playable unit. Not the Master Gundam, Master Asia himself. And in T, he fought Invaders, Zonder Metals, AND STMC bare handed to.
A GM? He took out Gerbera which basically RX-78GP04 in G Generation Advance with just barehand/scarf 😅 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TlxXo63wJiQ.html
If the OP is to be believed he isn't a Gundam but the husbando of one. * the dark haired girl he dances with in one of the ops is supposed to be a manifestation of the Exia. That's right, Setsuna waifus a Gundam.
The one i want to mention is the unofficial second in command of the forces of tekkadan, AKA. Eugene Sevenstark. if it wasnt for his wits and piloting skill tekkadan would never finish their first mission.
TheDrillMaster agreed. I like orga he’s awesome, but I think eugene would be a better pick especially with all the ship feats he pulled off in the first season. Dude had an attitude, but when it comes to getting the job, he will most certainly get the job done.
The other thing about Master Asia that was awesome, was how even though He and everything about G Gundam was absolutely bonkers, the moments with Domon, packed actual feels.
I think Treize's entry should have been a bit longer. He made a Gundam from scratch, Epyon at that, while under house arrest for sedition. In fact, he freed the Gundam pilots in the first place in a position where they would otherwise have been killed off. Add to it how he owned Mobile Dolls with a single Leo that he personally piloted, and he earned his position as eventual pilot of a custom. I will agree, though, Master Asia to be funny by needing to put himself in a MS just for his opposition to stand a chance.
Probably the One Year War. I'd like to include the Attack in Torrington Base because of Robin Diez, the pilot of the Byarlant Custom. He single handedly eliminated two Zee Zulu's, a Kapool, and a Marasai
david kaye aka beast wars megatron and the original dub sesshomaru (the two roles besides treize he is remembered for) had such a great voice for cool, calm and collected characters
@@lordgzstg6181 i know as well as animated optimus prime but for transformers I'll always remember as beast wars megatron as that was my first exposure to transformers and his first voice acting job in transformers in general
@@HeroduothecomedianI understand. the ut was my first transformers david and chalk will always be megatron and prime. And i will always know them from that first.
Actually that joke about Master Asia using a Gundam to give his foes a chance IS canon. According to supplemental materials his other Gundam the King of hearts is far more powerful than the Master Gundam and he did use it as a handicap.
.. Kinda correct.. King of Hearts Gundam is on the Gundam tournament ban list.. And he did say it was too op to be used.. And he used Yamato? Gundam (back when he was neo Japan's fighter)
Master Asia, one of the very few men in Gundam who can literally take Mobiles Suits down single handedly. On top of that, he very would could do it bare handed to, as he even caught large caliber bullets and used them against the MS that fired them.
There's quite a few characters in Seed that are good honorable mentions here; Waltfeld and Lacus for jacking the Eternal and starting an all out revolution and Cagali successfully fighting off MS with just some trucks and RPGs, also being quite effective with the Skygrasper and -her one good moment in Destiny- when she usurped back the rule over Orb
ironically the world united behind him to deal w his rogue former subordinate zechs and the white fangs death ray station lol. its funny the old die a hero or live long enough to become a villian happened he went out on the front line leading a united front vs space terrorists. given how messed up the world gov and colony gov structures were i never saw him as a bad guy just a guy with his own motives and ambitions as he wasnt really evil just cut throat and strategic in a time of serious chaos. hes probably the top if notin the top3 best written gundam charecters of all time easy
Heero Yuy's kind of awful at actually successfully killing people, though. I'm pretty sure everyone that he announced his intention to kill survived the whole season. He couldn't even kill himself without screwing it up.
My personal choice is Heero Yui. Son of a master assassin, trained in various forms of armed and unarmed combat, expert in sabotage and guerilla warfare, and an expert marksman. He fought an exact duplicate of himself, underwent physical augmentation, and mental conditioning. All by the time he was fifteen.
Most of the fighters in G were badasses in some form or another considering they had to be you know FIGHTERS to pilot their suits, especially Domon, Argo, Chibodee, George, Sai saici, Allenby, and DG Kyoji.
Crowley Hamon (Ramba Ral's lover) straight up almost killed THE GUNDAM with just a grunt Magella Tank. Amuro had to be saved by a kamikaze maneuver from his friend.
@@Tamachii12 Does she lose credit for that? She orchestrated that entire attack. She was the only person that figured out that the Gundam might be easier to destroy if it is stuck stationery having to defend something.
@@whichDude Didn't took any credit, i did said to his defense, if you count what if's you could've say the White based was saved because mquve was a fucking idiot and didn't delivered the DOOMs to Ramba Ral...
Not surprised that Master Asia made number 1 come on in SRW series . In SRW J he destroyed a anti air gun with his fist then jump ships all the while on in his mobile fighter. In SRW T he takes on Invaders, Primeals while he is not even in his fighter. Also he even calls himself Super Master Asia. I forgot which on was it but you control Master Asia and destroy the Devil Gundam grunts all on foot. More badass all hits will be zero.
only wufei would indulge treize, if Heero wasnt the one who shot down Noventa, he would have chased Treize's convoy and Buster rifle Treize point blank.
Surprised there was no mention for Lady Une from Wing as well. She managed to shoot a falling man square in the face as he was falling from a plane. That would probably be a difficult feat for even the enhanced pilots of many series to pull off, especially when they could just fire multiple shots at the body.
I think orgas cool, but Eugene his unofficial second in command of tekkaden deserves a placement on this list thanks to his mobile worker and ship feats in season 1. Orga did a good job of leading, but when Eugene gets the spotlight he really helped tekkaden on moving forward, such as his close contact with the hammerhead to get orga and a team on the turbines ship, holding the line for orga with a few heavy armed mobile workers, and connecting to two ships via Alaya vijnyana, really hard to spell, to distract the Outer Earth Orbit fleet of gjallarhorn long enough for the rest of tekkaden to slip past them. Overall, Eugene is a definite badass that didn’t even need a mobile suit.
Yo, that’s true, though! I wasn’t even thinking about that. Another thing in Eugene’s favor is he never had a Mobile Suit, while Orga got a Shiden from the Turbines. He just never got to use it is all.
5. Garrod Ran - Thief and Gundam Pilot and Tifa’s protector 4. Mu La Flaga - The man who made the impossible possible! 3. Trieze - The greatest mastermind of all time and even in fanfics, he even played chess against Rau Le Cruset and Gilbert Durandal during a crossover. 2. Orga Itsuke - That man is so popular that he and Tekkadan deserves better in the second season of Iron Blooded Orphans. 1. Master Asia - There is a rule in anime about old men and he’s the reason for it in the Gundam Universe and mentor of Domon Kasshu, this man is unstoppable, not even newtypes, trained soldiers or coordinators would want to mess with him! He would Sekiha Tenkyoken them into oblivion!!!
Treize is still my favorite villain, the dude was able to get total control of the Earth not once but twice! He was highly respected by his men because of his amazing mobile suit piloting skills and also because Treize respected them as well. He got killed only because he wanted to die to finally bring absolute peace.
I don't know if the man qualifies but Ali Al Sachez should probably have been on the list. Being one of the premier masterminds in screwing up Aelolia's plans throughout 00 and being responsible for the genocide of a civilization with just conventional weapons and charisma should put him on the list before Triez.
5:57 Hey similar credit should be given to Wufei as well. He didn't HAVE to get out of his mobile suit and face Treize blade to blade like that. Not to mention, Wufei was able to wipe out an OZ barracks without his mobile suit and, scared off a pack of wolves by simply screaming at them "GET OUT OF MY SIGHT YOU WEAKLINGS!!" in one of the earlier episodes.
Yeah total 100% agree with this whole list. Also thanks for using the dubs of Wing and G. Also Master Asia is just one of the more epic characters from anime period. So nice he left Domon win that tournament. He needs to be in more Super Robot Wars games.
I always loved Master Aisia, even if he came off as the bad guy I always had a feeling that there was more to it. and when the explanation finally came you just had to hand it too him, he was actually doing all this horrible stuff, for the best possiable reason. But something you totally forgot, HOW MUCH OF A BADASS DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO COME BACK FROM THE DEAD TO HELP YOUR STUDENT ONE LAST TIME. Because That's Master Aisia level Badass.
Master Asia is a good segue into another topic, the best "bad guy" Gundams and non-Gundam mobile suits, Master Gundam of course being one of the former.
@@mad3237 more like youtube not recommending his channel. youtube is weird... channels with bell on, sometimes dont get pushed while those that are off gets pushed.
love to give a shout out to the whole tekkeden team in iron blooded orphans, who used Mobile workers like bad asses through season 1. using mobile workers not only on land, but in space too! show these guys didn't need an army of mobile suits to kick ass. which is soo cool
I'll add more brownie points for Garrod. In the early episodes, he was captured by the Freeden. In his desire to comfort a then unconscious Tiffa, he REPEATEDLY went out of his cell just to get some flowers for her, then go back as if nothit happened. That was very romantic AND badass. Farzenberg did notice the flowers.
Treize wasn't a villain, he took down the oppressive Alliance, opposed the corrupt Romefeller foundation and took down their puppet world nation regime, and saved the Earth from destruction by the White Fang. In the end his ideals were the ones that stood the test, not the alliance's, not the Romefeller's, not the Gundam doctors', not the Peacecraft's, not the White Fang's, and not the Barton Foundation's. He even saved Wufei from his internal conflict and despair at the end.
Kakarot, next please do the 5 worst human being/highly unlikable characters from both UC (such as Gihren Zabi, Bask Om, Yazan Gable, Paptimus Scirocco, etc.) and AU. (such as Lord Djibril and Azrael from SEED, Ali Al Saachez and Nena Trinity from from 00, Iok Kujan and Jasley from IBO, etc.)
How was Scirocco unlikeable? he had a whole Harem of Ladies who loved and would die for him! xD Oh you meant unlikeable for the watchers? Nena was my 2nd favorite 00 Character so... definitly not on my bad list.
@@TheAzureGhost Yep, I mean unlikable for watchers. Scirocco is a womanizer from jupiter who wants to take over the world (yes, you weren't misreading. He wants to take over the world.) by trick the woman to join his side and take over the Earth Federation and making her become the queen of the world. (which is just a puppet to him.) If I remember correctly in final episode of Z Gundam, he tries to trick Haman to join his side after both Sarah and Reccoa died. 100% FRAUD There is one scene in Z Gundam that I really like is when Mouar has to choose between Jerid who is a foul-mouthed numbnuts who always wrecked any MS that he's piloted but he's do care for her or Scirocco who is very charming, smart and polite man but she's known that there is something very ambiguous about Scirocco so she choose to stay with Jerid.
@@barrybend7189 She's the cause that makes Saji and Louise doesn't living together. (in 1st season) If not for Nena terrible action, Louise wouldn't decide to join A-Laws for sake of her revenge.
I'll be honest. In G Gundam a lot of the pilots had badass skills outside of their Gundams. Domon was Master Asia 2.0, the US Pilot (forgot his name) could throw air bullets with his punches, and so on.
Well my badass would be Heero Yui. Busted a military base stole submarine torpedoes and fired them while wounded to two gundams. Taken to a hospital while shot managed to escape and even survive from a goddamn how high of a fall with a half-opened parachute relocated his dislocated shoulder. Survived his own gundam's self destruct while his cockpit was open..........To be fair all Gundam pilots maybe except Quatro were capable of doing similar things in Gundam Wing heck wufei busted in a military academy then used a similar tactic to Garrod Ran to handle Noin's mobile suits.
Master Asia is and will always be a badass. I mean dude is like Segata Sanshiro/Chuck Norris combined. I mean nothing can top that level of epicness. :P
In my school vr game the biggest badass is goalius no joke a powerful hybrid unit he took on countless mobile suits and participated in mobile suit wars he’s even took out 5 mobile armours in the calamity war and took on aces from zeon Titan tekkadon and the earth federation force like char asnible Johnny ride the pilot of the o akihero ardland nobie shino and mikazuke aurgus and armuro ray and he’s still alive and ultimately took on and destroyed all of celestial being
Here's another thing for Master Asia. His and Domon's final battle is still THE greatest one on one battle in Gundam history. Suck on it Amuro and Char. You've been demoted to 2nd. And of course we can't forget that the two of them have THE GREATEST HANDSHAKE OF ALL TIME! No I'm not sorry.
Technically uncorrupted Master Asia was undefeated, he didnt become defeated until he was corrupted by the Devil Gundam. Being impure his powers were no longer at their zenith. And it took Domon leveling up to do it.
Master Asia never was corrupted by the Devil Gundam. Everything he did was of his own doing as proven by the fact that he never had a single DG Cell anywhere on his body. What really held him down was him growing old, his health dwindling, and carrying the heavy burden of fighting for a world ravaged by war and eventually wrecked even further by the Gundam Fights as part of collateral damage. He saw the Devil Gundam as the fastest method to save the Earth while he’s still alive. He was a tired and desperate man past his prime, he actually believed he was doing the right thing even if it meant siding with the devil and turning humanity into biomechanical zombies with tentacles coming out of their everywhere. He technically remained undefeated because of the rules say he hasn’t officially lost until his Gundam’s head is destroyed or he dies. Despite all the Shining Fingers he threw at him, Domon never blew the Master Gundam’s head off; even in Super Mode. Plus, Domon still can’t perform all the crap Master Asia does on foot. I mean there’s the skyscraper thing, but it’s pretty evident that Domon’s not at the point where his Gundam exists just to give people a fighting chance against him. After all, he still gets his ass kicked by other fighters outside the Gundams; including a clown that perfectly replicated the God Finger on foot including the explosion bit.
@@TheHiddenBoss while he was not corrupted physically, his mind and soul was corrupted by the evil that was Devil Gundam. While his motives were still good, his methods became evil, and that was the corruption that ultimately made him do what he did. That's the most sinister form of corruption - when you truly believe that you're doing right thing and this is the largest tragedy of Master Asia a man who believed that he was helping the world while trying to destroy it.
One episode in 08th MS Team where Shiro Amada used anti-MS projectile to disable a Topp’s Zaku 1 and even dodged the bullets from the Zaku machine gun at point blank range.
id love it if in the continuation to this vid we se lacus clyne leader of her own organization of rebels who were instrumental in taking down zaft not once but twice and then becomes the supreme chancellor, all while masquerading as a ditzy idol
I love this video and never saw the part where he destroyed those death army but holy crap that's absolutely terrifying to see. Just imagine you have a shoot down count of like 50 MS and 7 Pegasus class ships and some old guy with a scarf cuts your experimental mobile suits arm off just to show off or prove a point! I am definitely split between getting the Gunner Gundam kit or the Master Gundam kit
Because he was up against other guys with similar capabilities. Chibodee, for example, barely grazed his ribs with a punch and Domon passed out in a matter of minutes. Argo could withstand just about any attack Domon hit him with and dish it back twice as hard. Sai Saici was on the level of the greatest Shaolin, and those guys can do things that seemingly defy biological explanation. Master Asia was the one who taught Domon his style in the first place, and had two Gundam Fight tournaments more experience than Domon did. Schwarz Bruder had a habit of messing with people's heads, and if he was who I think he was prior to android-ification, he was one of Master Asia's old rivals.
Mu is so badass he took a lohengrin shot to the face! AND LIVED! Fought in the excess a beam variant of a Mobius zero fighting a regular model AND a Gundam only pulling a draw thanks to the regular units senses.
Really? G was underrated? I thought it did fairly well in the US. It was on Toonami, it had a kickass game in form of Gundam Battle Assault 2, there were tons of action figures on the store shelves including Super/Hyper Mode variants, repeat appearances in later Gundam games on PS2 and onwards. Not to mention the action and all those designs for various Gundams: some were awesome, some were bizarre, some would probably offend someone, some you would not let the show live down. It was the kind of material that makes childhoods awesome. We never even got Gundam X and quite frankly, I kinda wished we did get it. It always seemed unfair to get two awesome Gundam shows from the 90s only to find out we missed out on one that may have been really good. We did get the UC Gundam to make up for it though.
Lowe Gear, was trapped by people who tried to go back on their deal. They planned to trap and contain them all in this dome until their suit drained out of energy and was constructed to make their mobile suits useless. So after the timer on thier mobile suit energy would expire the corporation came into the sealed dome. To their horror Lowe Gear found the only external spot and reverse his situation. He repurposed that external point to instead charge the red astray to full power. Also from there Lowe's friends were stripping the plating off of the walls and was preparing to open the doors, themselves and just leave.
canonically master asia was...the king of heart gundam that exists in the G-gundam verse lore was stated by the show's creator to be stronger than both god/burning and the master gundam together...
Kinda disappointed we didnt get to see Sumeragi here cus her actions in S2 was pretty amazing given how beaten up Celestial Being was in the beginning. Oh well, the list is good enough as it is.
Some Zaku IIs carry flash variants of cracker grenades and lets not forget that the Dom’s scattering beam cannon is a glorified flash mod to blind enemies with. They’re apparently not as widely used considering how the later Dom models either remove the flash or replace them with an actual beam cannon.
Just pilot the deathsythe. Its hyperjammers are even better than a flashbang. If you get hit with a flash bang you know you are under attack. The hyperjammers of the deathsythe just make u invisible to the enemy MS cameras haha
Treize is bae. I won't hear otherwise, lol. I wasn't expecting Treize to be on this list, but I was pleasantly surprised to see him. The swordfight with Wufei was cool, but the thing about Treize that always stuck with me since airing in NA all those years ago is when he tells Wufei how many soldiers have died defending his cause. It's chilling to think that he deliberately keeps up with this number. I think they intended for it to come across this way, but I don't know if that makes him a monster for saying it so coldly, or a caring person with a strong heart for keeping up with the number.
He's an odd character. Where Wufei never cared for the casualties Tres would remember every name and carry all the weight of his sacrifices. Only if Wufei died with Tres in the battle of Libre for a poetic death to both characters( Wufei the monster and tres the tragic hero).
