Great video! When it comes to Oud, I can't stand the real essential oil scent but when it's synthetic/fragrance, it smells wonderful. Also not a fan of anything promoting "growth" but I understand that there are ingredients backed by science to prove some of it.
Great video JCruz. I don't like mint in my beard oil either, but I do like it in my beard wash. I don't know the different kinds of ouds but I realize i don't like any of the ones I have. The 2 least favorite oils in my collection are Beard Octane Liquid Gold and Kingsmen Holy Grail. I'd give them away if I knew someone who wanted them.

Hey Cruz, great video! I have a few scents I’m not fond of. For me, they are Nag Champa, Birchwood Oud, & Suede in that order. I’m sure there are more, but I can’t think of them right off hand. I honestly couldn’t see myself using any of the things you mentioned for the same reasons you mentioned. I see a lot of barber videos where, like you said, it looks like they took a marker and drew on a beard. That just looks weird to me. Anyway, keep up the good work bro! 🙏🏻

Man I'm a scent junkie, but on mint I'm right there with you. Mint is definitely not for me homie, in fact it may be the scent I hate the most. I don't want it in cologne, don't want it in my beard. Now oud. Dude oud is pure love for me ❤😍.

I agree 💯 with your list. also use a silk pillow case. I'm not a fan of food scents in my beard oil. Definitely no to silicone and beard growth kits. Please big no to beard dyes and enhancements.
I do not mind mint for like a soap to wake me up in the morning. Beard octane has a good one called COLD Start, i enjoy it in soap. For the wake-up vibes. Thanks for watching bro.
I'm not a big fan of strong mint scents (peppermint, eucalyptus, etc) or most food scents. I've bought a number of both of these and found that I rarely use them compared to other types.
The 2 scents I dislike are anything with mint/peppermint/ spearmint and anything with pumpkin. Especially now coming into the fall scents. I got a fall scent from fable with "pumpkin" in it last year and I used it once...never again. I think it was the "Oktoberfest" scent. Terrible terrible scent IMO. Anything with mint just reminds me of a minty piece of gum. Lol
So you probably wouldn't have enjoyed Angakok from Mythical Beards...it was a mint and oud scent 🤣I wanted to try it so bad because I had never tried or even seen a scent profile like that but it was a scent of the month limited release and wasn't quick enough to get it 😞
My favorite beard oils are snake oil whiskey vanilla scent. From dick johnsons. And bossman beard jelly all scents are nice but the royal oud and the stage coach are my favorite scents of the beard jelly. And it keeps my beard soft and smels good all day
