The most common mistake I see in my rec league is that people don't move to the ball to receive it. Instead they wait for the ball and the other team runs towards it and cuts it off

🤔 that's a weird one. When exactly during a match do you forget to look at the ball: - When you have the ball at your feet? - When you're off the ball & your team is in possession? - On defense, when the other team is in possession? - A combination of any (or all) of the above?

@@thehunzzWhen i have the ball on the feet. I dont know why but i can shoot, pass, dribble and do skill moves without looking at the ball but i cant look at the ball when i need.

@@thehunzzI didn't learn football by a coach or anything so i didn't have a technic and i got used to play without looking at the ball (I can say played with instincts). After that, i found Unisport and improved my game and technic but i couldn't defeat not looking at the ball problem.

@@EgemenGG If you can do all that without looking at the ball, that's great. If you're not paying attention to where the ball is when you don't have it, that's a different issue. Try watching some matches in person or on TV (preferably in person). Watch the ball the entire time. Only 1 rule: NO CELL PHONE.

Novice here trying to coach my daughter. For tip #1, what part of the inside foot should you strike the ball? towards the front, arch, or heel. does it matter?

most recommended to use the middle, so not to high up until she's using the arch. However every part of the foot has it's use, if your daughter uses the front and arch a little bit then the ball could sometimes have a spin on it which is not really wanted on a direct pass, but it could be useful to pass the ball 'around' an opponent since it has a spin. P.S I'm not a coach-type of person so apologies if my explanation doesn't make sense
