I'm in Socastee near local hospital on hw 17. I take farrow parkway to MB state park (w/ yearly pass)....10 minutes. Or i go to Surfside beach from Glenns bay rd and miss the 544 traffic. I'm 10-15 min from shopping, beach, airport, Murl Inlet restaurants, most of the time. And i haven't seen flooding issues in the 4 yrs since buying.
Excellent video. This is the type of info I will need when ready. I’ve learned a lot over the years vacationing ie: 544 is a mess on the weekends with RV traffic
What is the flooding like in Carolina Forest and Little River area like in the last 10 years? Flooding near Intercoastal areas? Looking at these areas as well as Calasbash NC and flooding concerns me.

Hey there Micah! Market Common is a great area to move, with it being really conveniently located to just about everything including the beach. Most of the area isn't too bad. There are times I hear one come by my house in Carolina Forest, but it isn't a constant all day long. While we are an International Airport, we are pretty small in size. I've been in high schools larger than our airport.
