Jeremy, I always appreciate your commentary on the markets. There are both the quantitative measures as well as the qualitative measures to determine if the purchase is “right” for you. Everyone likes a deal, but you can never be sure if you are buying at the low or selling at the high. Sometimes you just need to pull the trigger and move forward. I love your use of Calendly.
Man, this is the most depressing video I've watched about Myrtle Beach. Sure my comment means nothing, but sheesh. I'm just trying to see what's out there for visiting and you say everything is basically a waste of time even for those visiting. Man oh Man... Here's your comment and view though.
Insurance cost to be that close to the beach is not worth it. If you want to be in the vicinity but don’t have to worry about those cost, you definitely need to look inland, Marion or Florence County.
Also it’s the same ocean up and down the east coast. In Delaware the same condos are millions as in New Jersey so in sc the hoa is keeping property values down
Is this guy for real? There is condos everywhere on the beach for sale. And the prices are low. The issue is the assessments and the hoa fees. Some of the monthly hoa fees I saw were 2 k a month. Only an idiot who hasn’t been watching things why buy those condos. At this point you can’t give them away
Sorry Jeremy but one week in Myrtle Beach in summer and you'll come running back to Florida , traffic is so ridiculous , you need 20 minutes to do a mile of highway; plus the cost of everything has gone way up and I mean housing, condo fees etc.
South Carolina is a freedom loving, gun toting, bible thumping state. Why do these liberals move here when they voted in that great living socialist society . NY, NJ, M, NH, other north east states.
While property taxes are much less, I pay ALOT more for car/motorcycle and homeowners insurance , ALOT more for yearly registration of vehicles , ALOT more for dental and medical services, and ALOT more for utilities than I did in PA. Also the job market is much less here while the payrates are also alot less here. It's a myth that the cost of living is cheaper in Myrtle.
In Horry County the real estate taxes are lower…as long as your house is your primary residence. When I get irritated by traffic, motorcycles, etc. I just think about my tax bill.
Yard hasn't been treated with toxic chemicals 😂😂......now cancer. No bugs though. Amen to the baptisms. Can you recommend a church I'm coming in October
Jeremy helped us with the purchase of our new home in Little River. I do get a lot of mosquito bites because I live on a pond but it’s so worth it. We LOVE it here. Thanks for the videos they helped us a lot when we were in NY trying to decide if we should make the move.
North Myrtle towards Cherry Grove Beach takes the safety concerns out of the equation. Great neighborhoods and neighbors, everything within a square mile, and Zillow sometimes has some great condo alternatives under $125K, and you don't have to deal with a HOA!
