Idk if I'd say that. I have been lookin forward to a survival type mod to play with Elden ring. I want a reason to use soap lmfao and to eat the foods in game. Lol. I feel like it'd be especially fun if it was compatible with Seamless co op
Probably it is for more hardcore players, who want to feel like they live in the elden ring. I actually like new nights but other than that it looks too exhausting to have fun.
The multiplayer one is essential for me. I love elden ring, but the multiplayer functionality is fucking atrocious. This makes it a WHOLE lot better and more enjoyable.
@@EamonBurke It disabled anti-cheat and runs off different servers. Not 100% sure on the whole jist of it but it is 100% confirmed to be unbannable since you're not on Elden Ring Multiplayer servers (which also means it isn't as smooth, i suppose that's a trade off)
@@upperdecker9992 It's not that consoles ever had any "magic". It's that people educated themselves and realized just how old the technology was being put into consoles.
Call of the Abyss apparently got deleted on Nexus. Just saw this great video and the mod sadly doesn't exist anymore. Thankyou for the video, I will definitely try the other mods :)
Haven't looked into whether any of the mods work together, but I think the seamless co-op would pair well with the survival mod. See how long you and the boys can make it like a pseudo rogue-like.
Seamless coop mod worked suprisingly well, thought it would have a decent amount of bugs, but turned out really good with very few bugs and a fresh experience compare to summoning for only dungeouns and bosses edit: Seamless coop with item and enemy randimzer is really fun, highly recommended
me and some friends ran seamless coop together until ng+7 some rules to follow 1: everyone has to do the fight with skelebitch in the roundtable hold seperately or it will glitch and send you each to 4 seperate roundtables while still in one players main world which is pain 2: if one guy rests it resets every enemy EVERYWHERE (bosses and 1 time kills excluded(most of the time...)) 3: RADAGHON WILL REPEAT WIIIIILLLLL GLITCH OUT if it took more than 1 attempt you are getting some wacky results from him including but not limited to: not spawning in for one player, spawning multiple copies for one player, spawning an individual version for EVERY player, not focusing one guy, ONLY focusing one guy, only using his triple ground strike move forever, not loading elden beast when he dies, and worst of all not spawning at all locking all of you into the boss arena forcing the main host to Alt+f4 however still imho the best way to experience the game a few more minor glitches here and there but hey its in beta.
I'm confused as to why the devs never thought to do this for the game as a whole. It means the bosses health would need to drastically need to be buffed but my word this shit would be clutch.
Great video! Unfortunately just came across this and Call of the Abyss isn't on Nexus anymore. Has it been updated and put anywhere else? Guessing it was removed because of the ER updates
Darth Maul is all i needed to see, i will not see the light of day after installing that mod, because i completely suck at Elden Ring, but now i have the biggest reason to play it
I cant wait until modders are able to add their own custom bosses, like completely new, new animations, new weapon (or weapons) etc. People have already made weapon mods where the weapon animations are from other games, so bosses should come soon.
Call of the abyss has been made by a very petty and childish dev who has abandoned two previous projects in the dark souls 3 community due to criticism. I doubt it will last long but he is an amazing modder so enjoy it while it lasts
if you mod your save file it no longer will work if you want to play vanilla again, because there will be items that dont exist in your save file and the game does not know how to react to that so it just tells you the save is corrupted so make a backup of your vanilla save first
About the co op mod. Beware that you can’t play this on your normal play through. It has to be a different save. I went back to play alone and everything I did in co op was gone so I had to start the game again.
I can’t lie. A FromSoft open-world MMO, on a massive map, would be awesome. If only other IP holders would copy the formula & apply it to an IP with a bunch of preexisting lore. I can dream right?
I wasn't sure about this video, but I am so glad I clicked on it. These are the mods that I truly want, except for survival (that sounds a bit too tedious for my taste).

I really love the Dark Souls/Elden Ring multiplayer experience with minimal interaction. Of course, FS could have made a more traditional multiplayer, it's not that they aren't capable of it or don't see the advantage of it, it's just that Dark Souls/Elden ring's multiplayer experience is really unique and a big part of the experience. It's a completely subjective thing and I understand if you don't like it but you need to appreciate that it's pretty much in the game's DNA and is very intentional and stylistic.
@@fjoiewafno You could say that about DS and other titles sure, but Elden Ring is a completely new experience both for us and for them since its their first true open world game. Lots of new things/changes and honestly coop in this specific game would be a million times better without so many limitations. But if it follows the DS/Bloodborne map style then it's better to keep the old way. 😅 It's not that i dislike their current coop, it just does not fit here.
@@fjoiewafno FromSoft games meant to be singleplayer experiences with minimal PvP. There will never be a seamless co-op in Dark Souls/Elden Ring officially, cause that's not how Miyazaki meant the game to be played. He told in an interview that a real-life event inspired him for the whole summon mechanic, and wanted a system in his game where players can interact to help each other in a difficult challenge, then never ever meet again probably. These games just aren't meant to be played in coop. All this mod did for those who were fine with the original is it literally murdered 95 % of the PC playerbase. Simply out of entitlement, an entire community got ruined. There are many coop games out there, don't know why in the world did they had to just tear down Elden Ring that was clearly not meant for this kind of gameplay.

Can you summon Malenia's second phase only? I'm doing a Parry-Only/No-Hit Fight against her. Sometimes I beat her first phase, get to the second phase, but I have no experience against her second phase.(I know she has the same moves as first phase blahblah but she also has wings and a complete different Character Body Model, so it's harder to read her moves in the second phase for me) At this point, I must beat her first phase in order to practice her second phase, everytime. It's annoying. So please, god, let there be a way...
i think elden ring should allow you to resummon low tier spirit and summon multiple low tier spirit but every spirit requirement stats like a weapon or spell to use like need 20 faith for example and increase the fp cost too. it's fair bc now you trade your mp and estus flask for the summon. coop should be in game too and invader are allow to invade but won't stop you from rest at grace and invader can't use horse but can use spirit summon they can also move freely around the world too and can attack you in open world boss but can't go through fog of war.

I believe the creator of it made it fully paid. I’m not 100% sure of that, but I do know that most of their mods are paid (which I agree with because they are great quality). It adds the weapons and armour, new models.
Wish console had mods my series x is just better than my PC. That detailed stats mod looks like a great one and anything showing my buff or debuff timers.
We need a quest marker mod. Not knowing where to go to progress a quest line is extremely mind challenging. For instance, Rogier says he's looking for something in Stormwind Castle. Only the thing, whatever it is, he doesn't say, isn't even Stormwind Castle. Sure, he'll give a sword once you defeat Godrick back at the HQ Round Table, but you're still in the dark of what he's looking for or where its at. Now add in all the other sides quests and main quests and this is a mess to keep straight.
survival mode needs a discord. i've spent 4 hours trying to figure out how to set it up properly because the installation guide was vague. also i thought i set it so chests would contain modded items but i just get the vanilla items. what exactly did i miss? because i am 99% percent sure i installed all the "enable" folders but apparently that wasn't enough
Unfortunately I can’t get Seamless Co-op to work. I tried few times with my friend, either as a host or as a guest, none of them are working. Keep saying “Unable to join session bla bla bla” or “already in party” 😢
4 out of these 5 mods are is either useless or ruins the game's balance in one way or another. the only truly good mod in this list that actually makes the game better is the detailed descriptions mod, 10/10 amazing mod it enhances the gameplay by adding info that should have already been there in the base game.
My friend and i played seamless co-op yesterday, and we keep running into a weird bug. Everytime the host of the session dies during a boss battle, the boss glitches out. Most of the time they just stand around doing nothing. After hitting the boss 3-4 times, he will try to get me with a short chain of attacks, before going back to just standing there. It made cheesing mandatory, sadly. The rest of the experience was fantastic though. Anyone here that has had the same issue, and managed to resolve it?
Does anyone know which mod puts the glowing gold loot item on top of the summoning pools? I see a lot of RU-vid videos with that, but haven't seen anyone mention what it is.
