I got the phone holder from Deftcad, thanks to your video. Great bit of kit! Wipers and headlight bulbs will be done next weekend too. Next mod will be MUD sun visor cover and tunnel tray organizer (also a mod that improves functionality for under £50).

Nice choice on keeping the grill original, if I absolutely had to change the grill on a defender I’d go for one that looks like the old series stage 1 but not a heritage style

I fitted the Wypac Crystal headlamps, they are inifnitely better than the original glass lucas units, again, less than £50 if you look in the right place and a little bit over if you buy bulbs with them. I personally don't like LED headlamps as they look awful and don't really give a great pattern, there are also a lot of dodgy cheap ones out there, some are actually upside down too... MoLLE sunvisor covers look good, be better in a light colour as well. I would recommend the LED indicators and side lights (FYI Driving lights are acually another name for spot lamps. Side lights/marker lights/position lamps are the little 5w white and red on the vehicle corners.) Albeit more than £50, they are well worth doing, it's worth noting that there is a loom mod or bulb mod for the dash to stop through put flash on the other side that is common on single dash lamp vehicles. Don't fit resistors as it destroys the vehicle wiring waterproofing and will only end in trouble later on, plus it's pointless in electrical terms.
