I tend to lean towards sport coat / odd trousers combination more than suits recently, I feel it's more adapted to office nowadays don't you think guys ?
Agree. My feeling is that the suit will not really come back, but there is a chance to dress up with a more casual sport coat combination. Maybe thats the new suit though....
@@industrialmixingspecialist2336 I think it will be reserved for the most formal occasions in life, but not for everyday wear. However I don't think it's especially a bad thing, playing with different fabrics, colors and texture between the jacket and trousers makes it far more interesting in my opinion !
3:20 Imagine this look but with a burgundy shirt inside, picking up the colour from the pattern on the jacket. Wouldn't that be a cool touch?! I always love the inspiration from Brian!
Blazers and odd trousers are my go to outfit, especially in the summer, so this is a perfect video for me. Of all the looks, that plaid in number 5 is stunning! Thanks Brian.
Awesome looks Brian, hard to pick out a favourite this time around since they're all superb. I've been sans-jacket this summer for practical reasons but I did carry around a knit-jacket around in Santa Fe as the evenings were pretty chilly! Not everyone's cup of tea but I liked how I could put it in my bag or drape it on a chair without worrying too much. - Han
I'm in Texas too brother and yes August is brutal. There are some wool/silk/linen fabrics that are great for sportsjackets in the summer I found. Maybe that will help!
Wow, all nice outfits. Somehow, my favourite is still yourl linen jacket from Suitsupply with the bold texture. General question: since you work so much with Michael Andrews now, do you still wear those older pieces from Suitsupply, Ring Jacket etc.? I miss seeing some of them in your new videos
A lot of outfit in your fav colour - brown. Great looks, I like the classic devil may care navy sports blazer look because the t-shirt you wore has a distinctively European vibe to it...
Thanks for this video. I lost 45 pounds by going on a diet. So, I am getting some of my better-branded sports jackets and suits altered. Trying to figure out these modern cuts and blazer lengths for 2021. This was helpful. THANKS
As summer appropriate as these outfits may be, on the hottest days, less clothing will always be better in terms of comfort (although there is a certain benefit to covering up when the summer sun is blazing.) But definitely, if I had a summer outdoor event to attend that leaned towards a 'dressier' side, any one of these looks would be great. What do you think about a short-sleeve polo or short-sleeve button-down under a casual sport jacket?
I really like style 3; I could see myself dressed that way. I don't own a blazer yet anyway so it will have to wait. I like French brand L'egoiste; there are two stores in my city and I'm eyeing a light khaki blazer that would fit my style. When I tried it on at the store with Momotaro jeans, they insisted on taking a photo of me, I was surprised.
Nice looks/ combos. Seems effortless which only proves how good you’re at this Brian. I know we’re still in summer and you’re a fan of no-socks look, but what’s your opinion on color socks? Cheers 🥂
Watch collecting is already expensive enough as it is for me but you gotta come on here and show off these great outfits! 😂 Now I want to upgrade my wardrobe!
Great Video can you do a video on to tell the Guys to please take the tags 🏷 of the maker of the Suit please take them Off and show them how a suit should fit Thank you so much 😊
Nice video Brian, have you ever tried Dior Fahrenheit? I smelled it in a Sephora a few weeks ago and really liked it but I can tell it would be a divisive fragrance.
Nice video. I have one question. I am teenager and I am invited to someones wedding at the end of summer, can you tell me what are good outfits for that season?
A quick note to say thanks for all the informative content mate!! Having worked on the shop floor at Zegna many years ago i appreciate the effort needed to put togeather these outfits.
It's been some time since I've been this early for a video haha. I like the first look the most. It will also look great if the gingham shirt was replaced with a solid white/ light blue one too!
It is possible to make it work, Italians even have a word for it "spezzato", have a look here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9Ax503QRTWI.html&ab_channel=Gentleman%27sGazette
Nice blazers and they look good on you! A couple of them seem too long for you but maybe it's the camera angle and it's hard to tell from the front. I like to swap out the gold blazer buttons for Mother of Pearl personally.
Thanks for video. I would like to wear Blazers but we have 30-36 C in summer, it`s to hot to wear more than T-shirt or shirt. Guys, is it even possible to wear blazers at this hot temperature ?
So, let me rate the outfits... Outfit #1: Don't particularly like the gingham shirt with the fresco blazer look, and although its a decent outfit, it doesn't quite cut it for me. Overall rating: 6/10 Oufit #2: Absolutely brilliant outfit. Love the texture of the sport coat, and the suede loafers are just a touch of class and elegance. Overall rating: 8.5/10 Outfit #3: Although it's an unconventional look, I loved how you styled a classic navy blazer in such a chic and casually tailored way, a great piece of inspiration for people looking to emulate a similar style. Overall rating: 7.9/10 Outfit #4: A very simple and classic outfit, not much to say about this aside from: "job well done". Overall rating: 7.5/10 Outfit #5: This is my favorite outfit of this video. There is so much creativity in it, and I love how you pull off such a bold pattern sport coat with such grace, and the white trousers are a sight to behold. Overall rating: 8.9/10
