Why do you need to adapt? Be yourself...that's the guy you see in the mirror...you know your flaws...changing how you look or dress to conform indicates weakness...this dude is a metrosexual
I hadn't had any serious interest in clothing and my appearance for a couple of decades of my life. Partly because stylish people associated with being snobby and arrogant, and I simply refused to strive for that. When I came across your video about dressing casually like an adult it caught me not only because it showed a lot of details that I could pay attention to, but also because your way of telling things and looking good excludes that looking down ingredient. So not only did I find what I was interested in at the time but it also clicked in my mind and I started watching everything on your channel. Finally I threw away that jacket that I never wore and bought one that I use once in a while and the one that I started receiving compliments for. I appreciate what you do and I'm happy with the amount of humor there is on your average video (which is not plenty). I watch your videos for inspiration, not for laughing my head off :)
Biggest struggle I have is with shoes. I were "sneakers" all the time bc they never bother my feet at the end of the day and they tend to be the only shoes that fit my seemingly unique skies of feet (long, narrow, high arch).
American women love a monogrammed cuff on a man. 😍 It's like catching a whiff of great cologne go by, or a classy watch peeking out. It's timeless and gentlemanly, and I don't find it "showing off" or "flashy" at all. It's tasteful. The whole concept of personal style is simply owning it. Life is too short to tiptoe. :) Reminds me, I keep an old dress shirt of my late grandfather's from his law days hanging in my closet, and seeing those initials on the cuff remind me of what a solid man he was.
Happy to see a pocket knife make the list! I would also like to add another vote for a quality lighter. From lighting cigarettes to birthday candles, it comes in handy more often than you would think.
Ha! I bought one of these (or _extremely_ similar) over 30 years ago for around CAD $20. Didn't wear it much until I recently got a job where a watch comes in handy. I don't love the look of it, but am aware that there's now a 'vintage cool' thing about its early digital vibe. To be honest though, I'd rather have a vintage military field watch...
Nice website, Bryan. For someone who chose Tank Americaine (instead of nouveau riche’s certain Rolex type), you definitely will scrutinize the web developer 😄
