The most important skills we need to learn are communication, customer service, photography, photoshop, sales, or graphic design, marketing, computer skills, math skills, public speaking, copy writing, youtube and much more.
I read a few bad reviews from people. Apparently, once the registration is made it can't be really cancel. According to what I read, Skillshare will do anything to refuse to cancel your account. You will need to ask the bank for the $99 refund. It is a good habit to avoid free trails that ask for bank details. I wonder if this comment will show on youtube ... I'll come back in a couple of days and check it.
@@BeeYouXOXO guys do you think what is happening is that people unknowingly buy a yearly subscription, it just starts 2 months later so 2 months are technically free - but maybe that's why they get billed for that year even after cancelling it? because they already bought it? D:
I love Skillshare but I didn't know it was so big. I used it like 4 years ago and it surprises me how many professional people are running courses. I'm definitely going to check back on this page again 💯
I've been a Skillshare student for at least 5 years and I LOVE it! Anything I want to learn or improve on is there. Their price is the best out there too. I totally recommend it.
My name is Makiba am 18 years of age i leave school two years now and is really trying to make a life for my self i love to cook and bake alot. Am so glad i found this app it would be great for me to improve on my Cake decoration
Thank you so so much for this video! 🥰 I just launched my 3rd class on Skillshare with the title: Take Your Social Proof Online to the Next Level. And it is SO cool how people organically find my program, and LOVE my course. 🥰 I'm so proud over teaching entrepreneurs how to easily do video testimonials with their customers, so they can get more clients from their social proof. Instead of just posting a written testimonial that no one believes in. Now I will go and make my class even better, and next time you do a video like this I will be a part of it! 🥳
The skills that I would love to work on to improve my RU-vid channel is being able to show more emotions and being able to act like I am enjoying my food in my videos. And also being able to clearly express my thoughts without stumbling over my words and to display better confidence in myself and my abilities.
Loving this video. I might actually restart my Skillshare account because of this! The skill that I want to level up on is my awareness and critical thinking. Mostly the awareness of my target market and audience. Being an animal illustrator is great when it comes to niching down, however being unaware of the types of people that would like my content hinders me from making effective content.
I am currently working full-time now and plan to retire in 1-2 years and then will move into a class b van full-time. At that point, I want to establish a RU-vid channel about van life, while providing photos and video of my hikes and my experiences which will include all the national parks. However, I need to better understand how to get a domain name for website, channel name, and everything else to "tie it all" in for making a brand. Sounds like there are good classes to assist. I already have a Canon M50 and plan to get a GoPro Max and purchase a new laptop too.
The skill I need is probably video editing. The software I use is Filmora and is very easy to work with, but I need more workflow training and tips on how to streamline the process. I'd also really like to check out the Communication classes you recommended.
My immediate need is in how to structure my business for tax purposes and how to keep track of receipts & deductions. I am doing a lot! But, my business structure and record keeping sucks! I have a corporate umbrella and then i have several satellite businesses which operate under the corporate banner. I need good tax planning and sound business advice on how to structure it all.
Hi Sean, second time watching your video and i was encourage to go to skill shares and i iwant to avail the 2 months free trial of skill share. ..i want to learn about more in Business skill and marketing new style through social media, i want to learn more. In my free time ive been watching you tube and i called YOU TUBE UNIVERSITY, i didnt finish my schooling before and that is one of my biggest regret , because my mom always told me , go on selling then i will get money in that way...NO NEED SCHOOL. i love to learn new things more and more with you video encourangement.
This is awesome! I did not know about Skillshare-- I am definitely going to set myself up on a plan! I want to learn to give/ write better presentations. Thank you.
Thanks so much for this Resource !!!! I really want to learn how to do video editing . I started my channel off using Microsoft Movie Maker, which is simple, but trying to learn any other program with the tracks and all that other stuff gets really confusing and trying to learn from youtube video tutorial that go so fast with little detail. They assume the person knows the basics and they don't speak out every step, plus figuring out which software to learn, hmm... that fit a small budget. I want to edit youtube videos, not make a feature film, LoL . So having the opportunity to skip around the courses and see what fits is AWESOME !!! Thanks again and God Bless you always!!!
@@jonkellumph392 Um, no... Just no. A chance is a chance. A russian hacker could have sneaked into my home and installed a keylogger via a usb. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ! 0_o
Very good information Sean! Trying to format my first eBook on Vellum and preparing topics for a video channel I am anxious to start. Greatly appreciate your help!
I want to be better with photoshop and later on hopefully build a tshirt business. I've been holding back a little on skill share bc I know u have to pay monthly but can u explain youtube which is free vs. Skill share (paying montly).
I'm a very lost soul,to say the least. I most certainly don't have a business & am definitely not an entrepreneur but I have a few more days left of a premium trial on skillshare. I want to utilise this limited opportunity in the wisest way but I require the best advice. I am also passionate about lifelong learning but I don't know what are the best courses for me in order to become my best self. I have already been 'procrastinating' on countless websites, articles, videos, social media pages etc every day for over 10 yrs - completely unpaid a going around in a vicious cycle! It's beyond a curse. Based on this very brief, can you help me? I'm an unemployed, uneducated, unloved, isolated depressed angry failure so I need all the help and I'm mire determined than anyone to prevail! Thanks in advance.
Btw I have already bookmarked a several premium videos on there (alongside many other online learning attempts) such as under the titles of 'confidence', 'interview skills', 'likability','microsoft office','time management' & many others but how can I identify which are relevant, which I should actually bother with, which are the best?
Ultimately, and especially because of my harrowing experiences of having worked under other people at an entry level, I wish to becone my own boss and I have great respect for all those who are self employed.
The biggest problem I'm facing right now im quality, I don't know why my video quality is not good and doesn't look like your video's do.. I have a Canon 70d, Canon 50mm and 18-135.. I'm going to be getting a 40mm. What do you think???
I actually have no idea what I should be learning first. I want to be video game based but I want to add some valuable skills to make myself stand out more. Communication perhaps 🤔 video editing seems over glorified. Yeah, I want to edit my videos and make them look amazing, but as important as it is if you don’t stand out from the crowd then you’ll just be another “wannabe”.
The skills I want are Business Building & Modern Marketing and Social Media Mastery. I tried to sign up on Skillshare page but there was a problem on Card Information page. Even if we enter the informations, it doesn't work. I really want the trial. How can we do?
I'm hoping to learn a bit more about animation through doing Skillshare. I'm on Summer Break right now so it's a great time to do it for sure! I've already started a free trial from watching another RU-vidr (Thomas Frank of College Info Geek) but thanks for the video anyway. :)
Might be a silly question, but do you earn any qualifications from completing these courses? Also, do you ever have to pay any extra for the courses other than the monthly fee?
I want to work on making clearer videos and better story telling. Videography in general would help me. Secondary, just how to market myself & brand. I have a passion for fatherhood and I think we all have a story. Just trying to figure how to make it interesting for everyone so that they will want to subscribe.
i am a good tutor in adobe applications. i am from India. my english is not so american but can understand very good, could i start this tutoring, plz give me a idea and sometips,.
I want to learn how to really edit videos and create a thumb nail. I don’t have a Apple computer or laptop but I do have a iPad that I can’t find that same software for
Does anyone know if I can share a Skillshare account with a friend and if both of us can watch different classes at the same time logged in?? Reply is appreciated.
I don’t know, but you could also share a link with your friend so that you get a free month extra above two months you already can get as a deal with the link in the description.
