The fact you could hand someone or commit and tell them “hey, this is the Batman game that came out last week” and they would probably believe you shows how ahead of its time the game was. The gameplay, graphics, and overall presentation can match and often surpass games released today.

I really love how you gave lego games the respect they deserve. Lego games can be as good, or even better than any other game, and saying Lego games are just kids games and not comparable to other games is the same as saying animated movies are all the same and not just an art style

16:47 Fairly certain Batman developed detective vision and it's not in his head. In Arkham Origins you have to restore detective vision by rebooting the Batcomputer to find Alfred. It wouldn't surprise me if it were just in his head though without the technology: because he's Batman.

I couldn't beat the GotG game because my PS4 controller wasn't working during the Milano sequences. No matter how hard I pressed R2, the damn thing just didn't shoot so I couldn't progress past chapter 6. 😔

With Guardians of the Galaxy, it was mostly "unpopular" because at first glance, it looked a lot like that shitty Avengers game made by Crystal Dynamics (Guardians was actually made by Eidos), and that tanked the potential success of Guardians despite it's quality, which is really unfortunate.

I love injustice 2s story

People have been hating me for months now for saying this but the combat is the spider games are far superior than the Arkham games. In the Spidey games the combat is more in your control, there is more to do.

Batman arkham series was the first real superhero game? No, infamous was bro

Spider man ps4 had it all. The story, the voice acting, the action, the villains, the story arcs, and most of the designs. The music was awesome and felt like it was I was experiencing a standard day in Peter’s life Spider man 2 definitely had its highs, but I feel it was very messy towards the end. And while I feel the game should’ve been longer, there’s also some parts that do drag on a bit too much. The first has wayyyyy more replayability factor, I’ve finished it 3 times. I’ve only played the entirety of spider man 2 once

Don’t know if this counts as a superhero game per say, but the Transformers War for and Fall of Cybertron are both top tier games. Maybe if they belong in a different genre, a list could be made for that

I personally wasn't a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy and would switch it out with Spiderman Shattered Dimensions as well as put the Lego games in 5th place (my honorable mentions wouldn't have Telltale Batman since I'm not a big fan since the choices didn't matter nearly as much as games like Detroit Become Human nor was the story for me so I would instead give my honorable mentions to Deadpool and X-Men Origins Wolverine PS3 game), but otherwise I agree. Also my favorite Arkham game is Arkham Knight.

in Arkham city when you suit up batman just puts the suit on for the first time Bruce isn't wearing eye shadow when he does actually put the suit on but then when we see him with the suit on he's wearing it.

I think the thing that would draw back the Spider-Man 2 game that came out recently would be the fact of lack of content at the beginning and etc and you know how people having big expectations nowadays

The Punisher Game from 2005 was a art of Brutality in video games. The game felt like a love letter to the character in a way we understand. The developers even brought in 3 of the comic book writers that gave us The Welcome Back Frank comic run to write the Game's story. They gave some loose ties from the 2004 Punisher movie to give the game at least some ties to the Final boss, That Being John Saint as Jigsaw. The fact that they left us a unsasifyed Cliffhanger with KingPin vowing revenge against The Punisher is disappointing to say the least. 10/10.

It’s sad how rocksteady simply isn’t what it used to be, the graphics for the knight skin in the Arkham series was beautiful, it’s graphics literally still hold up to this date, and yet “the Batman” suit looks like it was made on the ps4. Really goes to show their lack of care

Marvel needs to make another fighting game like injustice, and this time it's only marvel without Capcom

I have a lot of unpopular takes when it comes to video games, for example: I hated Guardians of the Galaxy, I thought Spider-Man was mid, and I was bored by playing God of War. When it comes to GotG and GoW, it's because I hate feeling like I'm on rails the entire time I'm playing, especially in a game with lots of combat. Admittedly the only Spider-Man game I played was Miles Morales, and in my opinion it was such a weak game. The dialogue made me cringe, the combat seemed to me like "Arkham combat but bad," and the AI was brain-dead. Of course most people will think I'm an idiot, and that's fine, it's just my opinion. The Arkham series is my favorite video game series of all time. It reached a peak of storytelling, combat, and immersion that I can only hope will be surpassed in the future.

Spider-Man 1 and 2 are the only games i ever fully platinummed on PlayStation. They are so great i can't say enough good things about them

Insomniac Spider-Man is better than Arkham Batman for me If I’m being completely honest, Arkham Batman got overhyped for me Same thing that happened with Bloodborne, I heard all the hype, subconsciously went in with high expectations, and was let down I got bored super quickly and just haven’t played since Compared to Insomniac Spider-Man which I’ve replayed so many times by this point I can’t keep track

I completely agree that the Arkham games are the best superhero games in the world. I just finished a second play through of all the games because of the new Suicide Squad game (not that I’m gonna play it) and they still are some of the best games I’ve ever played

The Batman: Arkham games are a master piece! I’m also not ashamed to admit that I liked the Suicide Squad game.

I am upset that they didn't include deathstroke in injustice 2 he is too cool to be sidelined.

I liked the avengers game at the beginning but then it was the same levels over and over again and it was also impossible to pick the skins so before even playing a level I spend 20 to 40 minutes picking a skin for each character and it’s sorta frustrating that they don’t all have the same skin thing and what I mean by that is they don’t all have the supernatural avengers skin they don’t all have the volcanic skins don’t all have the weird goofy looking animal skins etc. also Spider-Man isn’t on Xbox but he is on PlayStation which I don’t have :(

Well, you forgot to say lego DC. Supervillains. Yes, I know. Technically not a superhero game but still you can create your own super villain to me. It was awesome where you can create your own. Lego custom super villain to play. As when you go through the story of the lego DC supervillain After. campaign and also use him after the game, it's pretty cool.

Lego games are some of the best triple A games as they are very polished and are full of content and are not really rushed unlike a lot of triple A games today
