Try using a different adapter, USB port, or another device to see if it shows up. Rescan disks in Disk Management and check for driver issues in Device Manager.
In some phones when SD cards where linked as internal memory which for unknown reasons are not recognized by the phone or other devices, the only way is to reset the phone to the factory settings with the card in it. On my xiaomi phone, this was the only way I was able to revive a 256 GB Samsung card that no other device could see. Some phones have the option of card encryption as internal memory, but they often give errors. Maybe it helps some people.
My SD card isn't even showing up in disk drill 😢 i'm using a Mac and I tried a USB-C adapter and it still didn't work. The message on my camera says "Card1 cannot be accessed Reinsert/change the card or format card with camera"
You can try the SD card in different devices or readers to rule out issues with the reader. Check if the card appears in Disk Utility on your Mac and run First Aid if possible. Use Terminal to list all disks with diskutil list to see if the card is recognized.
Hello, I tried following your video and also Stellar Photo which actually gave same instructions. Both software I downloaded and both don't recognize my drive. Not even Disk Management. tried on different device and same thing, but that device works with another SD card. Cannot format either because my SD card drive does not show at all (unlike "Canon (K:)" which showed in your video. Is there any solution that allows me to recover my data (which is irreplaceable)? If my SD card can be formatted if all else fails, should I trust re-using same card again? Or should I buy another one?
Try different computers and operating systems. If recovery is successful, test the SD card's integrity before deciding to reuse it. Given the risk of data loss, it may be safer to replace the SD card with a new one.
I have a few folders on my extended hard drive that is XEP-files. The icons is not even folders but a white document icons and I can't open them at all. Do you know how to? I have tried looking for solutions on both Google and RU-vid but can't find any.
Use a file identification tool like TrIDNet to determine the file format, or try opening them with a text editor for any readable hints. You can also use a universal file opener such as File Viewer Plus. If specific software for XEP files exists, install it based on online research. Finally, check for file corruption by running chkdsk X: /f in Command Prompt, replacing X: with your drive letter.
Hello. I have an SD card that I use in my tablet. Suddenly it's not recognized and I can't see the files there. Is it possible to fix the card without removing it from the tablet?
Try restarting the tablet and checking for software updates. You can also unmount and remount the SD card via the settings menu or clear the cache partition by booting into recovery mode. If these steps don't work, use a different file manager app or check for SD card errors in the storage settings. If the problem persists, you might need to remove the SD card and test it on another device.
hello, when i tried to delete an application that i didnot backup then i lost the main folder in that application where all the programs are there , now i need those files so can you help me
I accidentally ejected the SD card from your camera without turning it off first. Now the computer isn't detecting the SD card. Is it worth trying data recovery software?
Try reinserting your SD card into the camera and turning the camera on and off, then reconnecting to the computer. Restart your computer and try using a different card reader or USB port. Check for the SD card in Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac) and update or reinstall drivers if necessary. If the card is detected by Disk Drill, you can try scanning it to recover data.
Changing the drive letter of an SD card typically does not cause data loss. It's a relatively safe operation that only changes how the drive is referenced in the system. However, it's always a good idea to back up important data before making changes to drive configurations to mitigate any unforeseen issues.
hello, the last time i used my sd card on camera i extracted the data and formatted it. but the next moment i tried using the same card it shows up sd card cannot be accessed and when i connect it to my card reader, it does not recognise the card at all even after trying everything. can somebody please help me? i recently bought this card and it was a bit expensive i do not want to buy another one again just yet 😭
If the steps from this video won't help, then you might need to send your card to the Data Recovery Center for repair. Please find more details here: www.cleverfiles.com/salvage/
I accidentally formatted my pen drive that was connected to android tv. Can i recover data on my pen drive in tv please help me. I want to recover data in my tv without removing it from tv
Recovering data from a formatted pen drive directly on an Android TV can be challenging due to the limitations of the TV's operating system and the lack of specialized data recovery tools available for Android TV. You can scan your drive with Disk Drill on Windows or Mac.
We offer a free recovery of up to 500 MB of your data if you use Disk Drill for Windows. Unfortunately, this option is not available for Mac users at this time. We do guarantee the recovery of the files you can fully preview in the free version.
First test it on another device and inspect it for physical damage. Ensure your computer’s SD card reader drivers are up to date, and check Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac) to see if the card appears. If recognized but not usable, try assigning a drive letter or reformatting the card, noting that formatting will erase all data. If corruption is suspected, use command-line tools or data recovery software to repair or retrieve data. If these steps fail, the SD card may be irreparably damaged and require replacement.
Yes, your SD card could be damaged even if the damage isn't visible. Check for any physical signs of damage and test it on different devices, including using an SD card reader. Use Disk Management and Device Manager on Windows to look for unrecognized or uninitialized entries. Try accessing the card with diskpart in Command Prompt or on a different operating system like Linux. If these steps fail, consider using data recovery software or professional services.

@@cleverfilespeopld used to use this joke about and I wanted you to hear it The fbi back when in the year 2000 had an unmarked car somehow lost in the ocean of all places, someone was able to come back later with something to shatter the windows to unlock the car, the thing is, they were hoping that they’d find just about anything else wise apart from missing ipods, rings, wallets and such, cause they really hoped they could one day recover something for once, stuff like a broken radio or whatever. They had a seriously lucky day to find something totally unexpected, there was a hard drive found in the car, they figured, well this can get cleaned, idk if I may can actually do anything with it. The thing is, it was custom brand printed onto not with a company name bug with just WWW2000-2010. WWW for short means they custom built in a hard drive an all activity recording mechanic that’s be receiving each day files downloaded every single time till the year 2010. The FBI had on the back of it a thing that was an alerter, if it seemed to ever be obtained again, their computers would know. The thing though, was its like any other hard drive though to, whereas a warranty on it is due to expire one day, so their systems didn’t even notice it was ever found again. So someone got to watch and look at all of the internets movies, cds, deleted scenes, images, web pages, online or downloadable games even after being deleted.
