Yep, I like your ideas. Here's more: 1. Queing and buying for people during pay days, festives, long weekends, Easter weekends... 2. Buying and delivering fireworks during dewali celebration , new years celebration and special functions... 3. Collecting and delivering medication for bed ridden patience who are home based, delivering at old age homes... 4. Baby sitting and house help during hollidays & weekends because that's when most people's helpers are off. 5. Those who are in the villages, close skwatta camps, hostels & informal settlements- selling water. Yes, water just tap water nje. Water is very scarce in our country and it is needed daily. 6. Selling & delivering stationary during festives and Jan. Stickeckers, name, printed name tags, book covers... 7. Covering books- It's such a drag and many parents do require the service.
Most Pharmacies offer a free delivery service for chronic medication. Certain government clinics or clubs eg diabetic club delivers to patients home or a central spot like the nearby church etc. Dont know if that’s only specific areas in Western Cape
I remember watching this video last month. The mobile car wash idea struck a chord with me. I decided to go a different route though…I got enrolled for training and certification to do auto detailing. That’s my side hustle now…all in a month and inspired by this video.
Mom relievers, this is were polygamy in the old days used to come in. Raising children and taking care of the house is really taxing for working mothers. Every working woman must have a live in nanny if possible.
I am doing heathy meal prep and juice business, I'ts doing well I won't lie & I did not go to school to be a chef. I hope this year people who knows how to cook can turn that into business because there is money, It's not easy because if food doesn't come out nice you will have to recook and that will be a loss for business & it takes a lot of time but I reallly recommend this business too.
Yazi no one would believe me if I told y’all that I thought about most of these ideas but chose to do nothing about them😅 now I see ukuthi my entrepreneurial spirit is on the right track😌🔥🔥
I love the idea of mom releavers because I am a mom myself and sometimes you really need someone to be there to look after the kids while you busy with your own staff and fetch them from school when you have a hectic week at work💐
I hear you. You also want someone trustworthy so that you are comfortable that your kids are well taken care of. I hope anyone wanting to venture into in this business is in the comments taking notes
I am actually interested in being a mom reliever, I love kids and I see my friends just need someone to take the load off a bit. I'll have to do my homework to plan my way into giving moms a breather. Glad to see that this service is in need!
@@FinancialBunny🇳🇦here they refer to us "order with me" 😄basically what I do is post items (men items mostly shoes suits and watches)on my social media pages .Clients than place orders with a 50% deposit. And than once the items arrive they pay the remaining balance. Because I sell really nice things my contacts started calling me for advice for their wedding outfits especially. Been doing it for the last 4 years now. Helps a lot with data bread and electricity at home. At least I don't have to sleep around for the basics 🙏 items are all from China. I only work with suppliers that sells quality items. I don't compromise on quality. I also take other orders on demand by clients.
@@indiratjongarero1182 Hi there. Maybe you can help, I'm selling bags but struggling to find suppliers with good quality products. Please hook me up if you can.
To add in to the private chef thing. The easiest way to grow is to target students. Come up with a 7 day 3 meal menu. Charge them weekly for meal preps that are delivered daily. Some lady did that that and targeted student Res and she made a killing
Thank you for sharing this! I myself am not a chef but i love cooking and I make amazing meals. Its actually my happy place, I enjoy cooking more than being a scientist lol. I will be trying to get a market to do this at least over the weekend and take it from there 😁
I did mobile car wash business during my final year in 2021 and it was great...to make it more viable and interesting I was using waterless products that did not required me to use a full bucket of water or horse pipe which was more convenient. The only challenge I was facing is I did not have a proper marketing plan.
Mobile car washing is for me. I have not slept doing my research. Numbers are aligning. I'm starting today with buying of equipment. Friday, the business should be up and running!!!
I love the chef idea. Especially when people need healthy, balanced diet foods. It's worth making set meals for exercise buffs and people trying to eat better for health reasons
This is such a good idea, thank you...I had to drop out of Culinary school because of fees but this could really be a way of getting back into my love for food while making money out of it😍...and you're so right, I work at Woolies and do you know how many people walk in every day for the Roast Chicken or microwavable foods😩
As a mother, i definitely need a mommy reliever during December time. The live in nannies are gone home for holidays. I can tell you now i need a reliable, relatable and responsible person i can just live my kids with for hours or even a day off. White labelling is a real thing, even big brands do it.
I was about to comment on the topic at hand and talk about business but Nicollet is my Weakness ,God i love your brain. You so authentic and beautiful, may God bless you.
I can be your entrepreneur friend. I actually like the idea. I am willing to learn and I'm a good listener. Broad and open minded. Very young and vibrant.
you are so right, I love cooking, i just need to market myself very well. who needs food from midrand pls hala at me and will most definitely start delivering, nna i need organizers especially rooms yohhh i hate doing this. Thank you so much for all those ideas, u really tapped into my light bulb.
I started my Personal shopping business in Dec 2022.... and worked only 2 weeks coz I do have a full time job. So I dedicated 2 weeks trying the Personal shopping business and I tell u it's great business. I built my clientele from Facebook and my Whatsapp...and now I'll be expanding into other social platforms.
Thank you for highlighting especially no 2 and 3. I am one of those women who despise shopping, especially for clothes and yet I love to look good. Also you're right on stylist and chefs even those who have just recently entered the market, positioning themselves and their careers as expensive and only for rich people and celebrities when they can serve the lower classes by being smart and grouping them like in that chef example you gave would give a lot of them work coz some are retrenched from boShoprite, Checkers etc.
My friends and I used to run a mobile carwash in our complex. Working primarily on weekends. The reception was good and actually made some good friendships as well. The challenge was not doing it fulltime(most of our clientele was the working class). If the estate has individual yards(single unit homes) then you're good.People loved the convenience and didnt mind normal carwash pricing.
Wooow that's great ,My financial Bunny can please make a vedio of a Will with a bank or lawyers or other institutions like Wats the difference there please 🙏 cuz I heard with a bank is not a will exactly
The banks are a no go area for wills..we had a bad experience with one of the banks.. I would like to hear more on this topic..cause the other famous provider is getting bad reviews of late
I started building an app for a friend who is starting a mobile car wash business, challenges are getting the right equipment but his business model is good, he went around selling his services and many businesses were interested. Starting small but he will get there.
I am definitely going for the Mom reliever Business. Thank you Love for this idea. I am a mom Myself and I know how some mom don’t get the Chance to breath. I am definitely going for it!
I realise that I need someone who will do groceries and cook for me. I normally spend 2.5K a month. I'm a professional, single and really don't have time and eat a lot of junk food which contributes to my gaining weight!
I love your content and your energy so much! Very cool ideas you have there, I think generally what we need to internalize is that business is about providing value to others and it shouldn't always be about what the business owner likes, or likes doing. I hope to echo these things too on my channel, there's so much money to be made out there if we just crack down on our limiting beliefs🙌🏽. Did I say I love you? I love you so much!🤩
I previously owned drive tru car wash in cape town back in 2010 and sold it out for 60k in 2012. Drive tru car wash is easy to market and find clients, Mobile car wash has huge potential but need more resources in terms of marketing, and daily operations.
there are buckets of cash to be made in mobile carwashes.. and finding clients is super easy. For me the problem started when it was time to scale up by employing people. managing them as well as other aspects of business was very challenging. Definitely plan on revisiting that venture.
I totally agree. I also spent 2022 struggling to scale because i dont know how to manage employees. When i say i struggled i probably am understating it. I had a rough time. Unfortunately managing a team is part of growing a business and we have to learn all aspects of it for the business to be successful. Please do go back and try, I wish you luck
As a person who loves getting their car washed weekly i definitely agree with the mobile car wash idea. However because i stay in the hood, the market is tight, but in gated community areas or estates its a gold mine. Once spoke to this guy who told me he pays R150 to get his bakkie washed and he hurts driving to the car wash.
Soo insightful Mama Financial Bunny! Im a girl in a science field but i'm still researching the market to see where can i fit in. Thank you for boosting the confidence🙏
Mobile car washes are all about trying to do a detail the car as quickly as possible, a lot of people never progress as quick as they want to because they never move from a bucket and a cloth to a power washer and a vacuum for example, the quicker you can detail a car, the more revenue you stand to make.
thank you for this.. Vey insightful..: request ALERT!!! Can you make a vedios on the best insurance companies you think Doctors should be involved in… The likes of PPS, DISCOVERY, SANLAM… I know this might sound like its being lazy and all.. but we have alot of young MEDICAL INTERNS WHO ARE LOST AS FAR AS THESE things are concerned… PLEASE HELP… We dont want to be adviced by finacial advisors who are looking to fill up thier pokets…
Yes white labelling is a big thing in skincare. But one thing I have experienced is that you don't have a say in the formulation. For instance if you see that the moisturizer is not moisturizering enough then the supplier would say they did all the test and the moisturizer is fine. Or when they decide to remove one of the main ingredients because it is too expensive for the formulation then you don't have a say at all. That ends up being frustrating if you are trying to build a brand.
Hey Shalean. A solution for that is that while the business is going, take a course in formulation, or you can start by research on how to start formulating your own products. Then take some of the profits and invest back in starting doing your own products and slowly doing away with the white label. I'm starting a makeup brand (white labeling) and already found a course that will teach me how to do the formulas for the products. While building my brand with their products I will be learning to manufacture my own. Cause truth is, you are still at risk, should the manufacturer go under and you don't have the formulas.
The "Mobile Car Wash" idea, it's pretty good and could be a success, but I alone think that it bears lots of risks, especially in the South Africa we live in today, where cars are stolen everyday. One will need to do a through research of how to mitigate those risks and how to build a very strong clientel that can TRUST one with such service.
I’m actually a chef and have been struggling to get a job or the jobs I get pay too little, I personally love pastry and I’m looking into baking cakes cupcakes and deserts items at home and most of these cakes from what I’ve seen on social are roughly R600 and R200 for cupcakes thats close to a thousand from 1 client 🤞🏽🤷🏽♀️
Mom relievers, this is were polygamy in the old days used to come in. Raising children and taking care of the house is really taxing for working mothers. Every working woman must have a live in nanny if possible.
Mobile car wash has good money, you just need to have your niche and price good I once had a small nyana 1 back when i was jobless, and to my suprise what sold was the customers saying the cars shine and smell new and look shiny from the inside...and i didnt do much marketing,my customers did word of mouth and it generated good sales for me,had bookings each day,and usually late afternoons we only did taxis ...unfortunately i didnt stick it out long enough and i am in polokwane,at the time there was only 1 company doing it who had a bakkie and we walked,i used to carry the small equipment packed up nicely but it worked out coz at the end of the day i was able to pay off my uni outstanding fees But i wouldnt say a car wash,i think now to make it especially to folks who wont mind paying, you need to be able to do paint correction work, polishing the cars the correct way etc...but i agree 110% mobile car wash is a very good venture, today i watch those who do it,i can see how they are failing but thats just me analysing from a distance
@@ndabezinhlehadebe6435 just like Nicolette said, just start with a certain geographical location this will help in cutting fuel costs for traveling for instance from midrand to tembisa,so if you are focused on tembisa, thats where you work, break it up into bite size pieces and take clients who are close to each other, save time to drive around this way Equipment just a small vacum, smaller pressure washer (optional at the beginning but it saves time and water),your own buckets, soaps and cloths, with me clients loved the spray i used inside the car which was the shield car care dashboard spray safe to use on rubber like, vynil finished, some clients would ask you not to use it but they know very little as it protects the dash from the sun, most dashes look discoloured and cracked after a while but that spray helps keep it looking new and the inside smelling fairly fresh and very nice Wish you all the best
@@ndabezinhlehadebe6435 start with what you can afford and build up on it,i started with just a small vacum from my house, managed to accumulate pressure washes etc, also it helps to make you see thst you sre actually making something, thst your pricing is not too bad We stsrted off walking with the equipment, sometimes we would use my dad's bakkie and we did just well, but you will be suprised how many people in your area will love the idea of you coming to them
Meredith's person was Christina Zhang if I remember correctly.. 😂😂 I moved to the UK recently, and here people make a living out of literally anything. Even as a cleaner, tradesmen (plumbers, electricians, builders etc) even laundry services. Child minding is huuuge too. They make more than most office jobs. Thank you this was so informative. 🙏🏽
Realeboga hle weshu, will definitely send my nieces to this video. I personally need a stylist. Living in an outlying area is no child's play and I just hate shopping for clothes.
You are totally 100% right ,as I am 1 a mother, wife, business woman of a growing business that I still have to do alot by myself and come back home clean ,cook and take care of my kids and my husband...update my mind ,read learn things online, read books .... A mom reliever is not at all a bad idea...it's actually perfect
I swear the first business I’m opening when I get back to South Africa is a daycare which only operates on weekends. Like the whole 48 hours of the weekend. Parents need a break from their children and my future business is ready to help with that
Goood one, very informative for a person like me, been working on contracts and quite frequently out of work so was actually thinking I need to have a side thing going but would think of ideas until I get to appoint that they are all stupid and not indemand so what a way to start a year by hearing this from someone I respect in the financial space, thank you,😊
Oh my God woman, u r truly a godsend I ddnt knw mom reliever was a thing never mind a business I mean I am mom myself n I need that person..... Than u so so much for this information.
22nd century b ideas, nice one. Transport,food,salon/personal care, cleaning are constant business dt ul never go wrong and are applicable to any market, demographic and environment ***hint hint(can operate on cash transactions)
Yes, Cristina Yang …”my person” business is actually a thing these days in any fraternity. White labelling is actually a good idea. Love it. Thank you Coco.
It's my first time watching your video and it was insightful. I must say, I really need to look into "white labeling".... thank you for giving me the confince
Mobile car washing it can be very tricky due to: - High supply on based car wash 🧼 which then by default lowers the price. - And high price on fuel which will lead to high price on mobile services. People go to the car wash to also refresh their minds. 😅
Thank you so much for sharing these ideas. I used a mom reliever this December. I am looking for a personal driver. It will make my life so much easier. Anyone who is interested, let me know
Brilliant ideas indeed.People need services out there.I make money sitting in the house sharing a link where people will shop online & I get paid comm for whatever sales were made.Just like that
I run a mobile car wash, not entirely focused on car washing more detailing but it has very good potential, challenges are non understanding clients but seriously just get in to it, very little challenges
