Wait... What? DIY or Public Land hunters are more mobile and exposed to the elements more?! Makes literally zero sense! I hunted 124 times last year for a total of 324 hours in ALL kinds of conditions, but it was all on private land. October 1 to January 2 in Indiana. I do not understand.

if you hunt that much on private land are you doing all hang and hunts like on public? or are you going to permanent ladder/lock on stands? most private land hunters aren't near as mobile as the public land guys. thats a fact. you can argue it for arguments sake but most people would disagree with you

A guy who has to hike around vs a trestand hunter have very different needs from clothing, their own body (aka: good personal fitness) and the type of food they need to eat. Most private land hunters just set up a blind or treestand near the trail and call it good
