Love all your videos. They’ve been super helpful. Thank you! In the 20s, I like to walk out with a moisture wicking next to skin, the ambient hoodie, and a stratus vest, and then swap out the ambient hoodie and stratus vest with the traverse hoodie and the fanatic jacket after I climb the tree and cool down. For the legs I just have moisture wicking next to skin and fleece thermals under the fanatic bibs. Walking out, they’re zipped down in the front and on the sides. If it’s windy I’ll add the fanatic hoodie under the ambient hoodie on the walk out, but if it’s not windy, it’ll make me sweat. In the 30’s to mid 40’s, I’ll replace the fanatic set with stratus and I’ll be just as warm, but I always have the fanatic and ambient hoodies, just in case.

After building a system which pieces did you go with? Or which pieces do you feel are your "most used"? I'm hunting N.Y. white tails through peak of rut into winter.

@@yamahondazuki95 I went with the system. CLW tops and bottom. CHW bottom and the Fanatic Hoodie. Midi jacket and Stratus bibs and jacket and the Fanatic bibs and jacket.

I'll be running the merino heavyweight top, heavyweight bottom for base. Fanatic hoodie, Ambient jacket and equinox midi pants for mid and insulation. Then the Fanatic jacket n bibs for outer. Also have the startus orange vest for rifle season to go over the Fanatic. Last gun opener in Wisconsin it was about 10° and 30 mph winds. I was dressed so thick I couldn't move so I said enough is enough, watched your cold weather video from last year and went out and bought all that. Excited to get some cold weather now to try it out!

Good one! Here in MB Canada it gets cold! Wind protection really helps out! Got the Fanatic bib and Vest last year! They are great for warm layering in minus 0 celcius weather! Prepping right now for upcoming season! :)

Nice layering system, for me upmin canada when the temperature drops, i wear a merino base 125g then a heavy 350g merino, fanatic hoody then fanatic jacket and bibs

01-16-2024 I wore merino wool top and bottom. Apex top and bottom. Fanatic hoodie and equinox hoodie. Fanatic bibs and I was sitting in ground blind. Got cold after 2 hours and it was like I needed another pair of pants on and another top piece. What do you recommend?

Would you recommend going up a size in the stratus pants? They are true to size but not a lot of room for anything under besides normal sweatpants

Is the Ambient Jacket warmer than the Celsius Midi Jacket?

The ambient is warmer, lighter, and extremely comfortable to wear. However it is more expensive and if you have to move through some heavy brush it will damage easy.

Get a good pair of insulated boots that you like. Then buy a set out outdoor booties to go over them once you get in stand. For extra warmth, slap some toe warmers on the outside of your boots. You're good to go in any temps

I'm near Jacksonville, FL and I have been trying to figure out pant also for winter. It doesn't really get that cold often and really doesn't stay cold for more than a few days or so. And cold I mean low 30s in morning to mid 40s high. I am deciding on Timberline pants. Only reason over mountain is because of the extra waterproof layer. I will be buying fanatic hoody, Traverse jacket, Jetstream. I may or may not use the Jetstream often but I'll have it just incase. Plus if it gets cold I have the right pant to layer under.
