You're creating the illusion that students support Hamas while they don't. They simply support the families that live there in that open prison whom are under attack from both sides right now.
@@mr.v3061 Those students literally said 'We are Hamas'! They dressed up like terrorists and waved Hamas flags! They wouldn't let Jewish students and professors on campus! They destroyed property and holed up in a school building, went on a hunger strike, and then demanded gluten-free, vegan Uber Eats! They vandalized statues, attacked people holding American flags, and even burned American flags! They were calling for the death of America! Yes they certainly care about the Gazans. He didn't really make fun of "all sides" though. It was just more, "Hamas is bad, but even worse is attacking our freedom of speech," and I honestly think that a huge number of people feel the same way. The protesters are idiots, but it's their right to be idiots as Americans.

Since when are protestors being arrested for speaking? As far as I'm aware, its been for violating university policy. Furthermore, those rioters/protestors that were arrested were released within a day with little to no actual charges being filed. I don't think BLM rioters in 2021 being arrested a few years ago for, you know, rioting, should have been construed as merely a free speech issue, in much the same ways these pro-hamas rallies/riots today. I don't mean to be overly critical and i don't think speech in itself should ever be banned, but i really dislike the notion that the belated, ineffective, but nonetheless legally permitted/required arrests of rioters who hate america and support a terror-death-cult are somehow indicative of the modern assualt on free speech.
The new bill that passed the House expanded the definition of antisemitism to criticizing Israel. You can be sued for being considered antisemitic, but you can't be arrested. It's definitely a violation of the 1st amendment though. However, the claim that the protesters that were arrested were just criticising Israel isn't true. They were rioting
@@dannydacheedo1592 i definitely agree that what congress just passed is wrong, as is all of title 6 of the civil rights amendment in general. In the video it seemed to specifically be making fun of protestors at college campuses, the arrests that took place there were more than okay. though maybe i didnt get the joke or misinterpreted it which is totally on me.
@@namgilesile6224 1:31 he said "speech laws" here The whole "they were arrested for criticizing Israel" narrative is just antisemites and other collective guilt morons doing their usual crap of only telling a half truth
@@dannydacheedo1592 simply criticizing Israel isn’t considered antisemitism under the bill, its made to now include antisemitic hate speech disguised as criticism of Israel
@@dannydacheedo1592 not just any criticism of Israel… specifically criticism that expects things of Israel that no other country is expected to uphold (double standards) or comparing it to the Nazis. Reasonable criticism of Israel is allowed Jews (especially israeli Jews, lol) criticize Israeli policy all the time. And lots of the criticism is valid - but I do see a ton of unfair double standards from non-Jews and I don’t know where that can come from on such a scale other than antisemitism. For example, people expect Israel to just ignore October 7 entirely, to let all Palestinians (who aren’t Israeli citizens) live in Israel, to dissolve itself so that Palestinians can have their own country in its place (not a 2-state solution), and to just tolerate/ignore the rockets sent often daily from Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. They call for a ceasefire but also want an intifada against Israel. Double standards. These are sentiments I see a ton, they’re completely unreasonable because no one would expect these things of other existing countries or any other people. Really feels like they just want the Jews there to lay down and die.
Meanwhile, if I was there, I’d probably be the one protester who mistakenly accuses everyone else of being a Hamas agent because I’m always second guessing myself.

OK, I won't deny (even as a man of the left) that there is a certain brilliance to your channel, in weaving the Jubilee channel with topics of current interest and division. Keep up the good work.
Funny video but that bill has nothing to do with speech. All the conservative commentators have been saying it violates the 1st amendment, but the actual bill itself clearly says that its being put in place because of the discrimination against jewish students on college campuses. It says that its purpose is to define antisemitism so that universities can't use the excuse of "we define antisemitism differently." The bill also explicitly states that it cannot be used to infringe upon any first amendment rights, meaning you will not be prosecuted just for having views conisdered "antisemitic"
Calling hamas terrorist is just a repeat of history when the resistance called the same before , that happend before in algeria , morocco , lebia , france and more
What speech laws it didn't make any sense. I hope that isn't a reference to the bill that's addressing rampant anti-Semitism on college campuses and specifically states in that bill that it's not going to go after you for speech.
Why is there no such bill against all the anti-h00w!te hate? Oh i forgot, we dont count. When we are being terrorized, its all "muh freedom" but when they are being terrorized, suddenly its easy to pass laws against it.

@@briansardinas1359 no, the deal is the hostages would be safely released if Israel permanently cease fire, and hamas proved that they are men of their words when they released some of the hostages back then for a Temporary ceasefire, the hostages weren't only in good conditions, but they literally waved goodbye to hamas forces and some of them literally start hugging them, the same time "the most moral army in the world was starving his prisoners, its obvious that Israel have no regards for their hostages
@@ajdndbdjbdj No. Since around February, Hamas was negotiating for thousands of Arab prisoners to be let free in return for 30-40 Israeli hostages. On Monday, Hamas said something like, "oh, didn't we mention? Some of the people we'll trade you will be corpses" And Israel said, f it, we're coming to finish you off.
Lmao that wasn’t what the deal said at all. Moreover the deal was made by Egypt and quatar, Israel had no input, and Hamas only agreed as Israel started their attack as a pr stunt. And they only agreed to release hostages in exchange for thousands of terrorists and murderers to be freed from prison. Before you go on about how they’re innocent children. They’re not. You can find footage online of every one of those prisoners attacking and/or killing civilians, men women and children. Unlike the children UNDER A YEAR OLD that are being held by Hamas. Oh no the kidnappers are actually good people because they’re not mistreating actual babies that they took from the cold dead arms of their parent that they murdered. Most of the hostages released were in horrific conditions and only played nice with their captors because they had family and friends still being held. Many of them came back severely malnourished, one old woman was only able to be released from the hospital now 5 months after coming out of Gaza. An 8 year old girl couldn’t talk above a whisper except to randomly shout in Arabic “shut up or I’ll beat you” despite not actually knowing any Arabic. One girl spoke about being repeatedly r@ped and beaten and many of the women said other female hostages weren’t released because their captors liked r@ping them. Regardless even if hamas did agree to release all the hostages they couldn’t because they’ve admitted they don’t know where many of them are. Anyway this was probably pointless bc you obviously think Hamas are great guys and hate Israel but yall just make me ill.
