@@donaldalbershardt6854 I seriously wouldn't have believed it myself. I thought it was my pfadt suspension messing with my steering, but it ended up being shitty/old power steering fluid.
So maybe just Old S##ty Fluid and not just the Lucas ?? Don't get me wrong I know Lucas is a Top Notch NOTCH Oil. Do you know why there is a lot of Wheel Shake?? Has Chevrolet done a Recall or Update ?? I'm sure they have heard about it.. Is this problem with Factory Recommend tires or ??

I'm looking at a low miles (19,000), garage kept 2013. Haven't decided whether or not to pull the trigger. I've read that static balancing the tires will get rid of that steering wheel shake. Right now, I'm daily driving a lifted 2004 Jeep Wrangler, so I probably wouldn't even notice what little shake the wheel has in this video.
@@markriggall383Late reply, but did you ever pull the trigger? 2013 would’ve been one of the best years, if you wanted to keep the 10-13 pre-facelift body style. It simply just comes with the 14-15 interior and tech. You also get to ditch the problematic, heavy hydraulic power steering system, for an electric power steering system. That, and they started implementing a full MyLink Chevy infotainment head unit, which allows for a backup camera output from the factory. You also get an optional NPP/bi-model exhaust, which is such a nice stock quad exhaust in my opinion… The only thing I noticed, is that after 2010-2011, the Ground Effects bodykit was like either discontinued or not effectively an option outright for the 2012-2013 SS models. Those are a super nice OEM bodykit, minus the ill-fitting rear bumper valence by the tail pipe trim pieces.
Great vid.. I've never experienced the shaky steering wheel. the back seat makes me claustrophobic, I get anxiety just thinking about sitting in it. Visibility, trunk, the inability to transport an entire softball team Have never been an issue for me. I brought a Homak 11 gun, gun safe home in my camaro without scratching or damaging anything.
I have a 2011 V6 Camaro and I have the shaking steering wheel also I am getting this rattling noise that last for about 5 seconds I am assuming its the timing chains
bro was it really power steering wheel fluid? mine shakes like that around 45- 60 mph and ive done new rims, new tires, balancing, alighment, new rotors and new brakes
The only thing worked for me is to turn the steering wheel left to right about 5 times all the way. Preferably on dirt so you don't grind off your tires. Not 100% ,but much better. Try it ,and good luck.
