Hey guys!!! This video will be detailing the 5 Common Application Mistakes you're making, and if not now, will make, when you apply to college or university in the United States. I have faced these when I was applying so I wanted to make this video to help all of you avoid them :)
The video will go over the mistakes to avoid in the honors and awards section, the extracurricular activities section, and finally the Additional Information section.

Now i only have 1 year to practice for boards as well as prepare my ecs and this is very straining, on top, working on my essays and applications

Looking at all the things you have achieved and activities you have done, it is worrying to see that you still got deferred from Stanford at first. only high school achievements are counted. However if you did something amazing that you got a national/international recognition for in middle or primary school then you can include that in your essay

I got rejected for the scholarship but I learnt one mistake I did in applying to scholarship, i should never tell exact numbers and i should tell them in percentage. It would look and feel better

As for whether or not the course will be available next year, I am not too sure about that. You should ask Shaurya for the details.

I was a good student, but not the best. I wasn't the most regular with my studies, but I worked very hard for my exams. Don't know the hour count but push yourself and that's all that really matters!

Don’t worry about gpa, most universities are used to understand international grades, just put the information of how your school calculates your grade :)
