I don’t think chloroform can realistically knock you out like how movies show it. I believe it takes a lot longer for you to actual get knocked out to the point where you would have to on purpose knock yourself out.

When I was around 12 I was in Walmart with my older sisters. But I had wandered by myself. And this man in his 30s came up to me and told me he would buy me anything in the store that I wanted. Now, I came from a stable background and I knew this was completely inappropriate. But I can only imagine a girl from a broken home or a girl more vulnerable. It was really sad.
Once at a hotel in the pool area this older man, about 50/60 said I was very pretty and offered me a slice of pizza and a drink which he had at the pool. I politely said no thanks. He was also starting at me. I was with my mom and dad so I felt better about that but I was still very uncomfortable and immediately told my mom I wanted to leave the pool. She asked why and I told her I’d tell her in the hotel room, which I did. We didn’t leave our hotel room for the 2 days we were there unless we were completely leaving the building. And we always had my dad stay close and we all held hands. And this was in a smaller area too. Not even in a big city. Since then I am ALWAYS on my guard.

When i was 27 and about 3 months pregnant, I went out of town to go shop at a mall with my friend. We noticed these two men and a woman kept following us to every store we were going to. I needed to go to the restroom and my friend waited outside for me. The lady follows me into the restroom and starts telling me how pretty I am then she says “hey those guys out there want to talk to you about something” then she pulls out a huge wad of cash out of her pocket and shows it to me. I walk out of the restroom and before I could even tell my friend what happened she says WE NEED TO GO NOW! So we literally run to our parked car and the men are running behind us. Thankfully we were able to get away but I’ve never been so scared in my life. Thank you Lord for giving me the courage to get out of that situation. It’s scary to think of what could have happened.

Well, some traffickers want easy targets that's why. They are usually willing to take strong women if they were hired to get that specific girl or if the girl has really desirable assests. Its a sad world we live in
I've found the best thing to do is not fear an interaction. You look the person in the eye, say thank you while smiling. Then, you know they're gonna ask you out so you wait for it and politely decline. Once that happens, if it's a nice a guy, he'll say something like " I had to try." If it's not a nice guy, he'll get pissed and then you mention pepper spray. Works without it in hand.
I don't even entertain the idea. If people tell me I'm beautiful, I always look them in the eye and say "Beauty is overrated, what I AM is intelligent. That's all that matters" and then I walk away.
Once I came back to my car in a parking lot and there was a 30lb rock on the hood. I just drove away with it to my friends house and I swear somebody was following me because right after I pulled up another car pulled up next to me and somebody sat in there for ten minutes with the engine on. I used to take acting classes when I was in middle school. My instructors always told us, "If it sounds way too good to be true, it is." (Carly and David, if you're reading this, hi! And thank you for telling me that!) I was at the shopping mall with my mother one day, and I was approached by phony casting directors. They said that they were from Disney. It sounded way too good to be true, and so I got my mother, instinctively. I stuck to what my instructors told me, because they were involved in showbiz themselves; they did everything old school. My mother and I chewed those people out. Afterwards, my mother told a family member that worked in law enforcement and he was shocked. He told my mother that it was a trap. I told my instructors and they said that it was a trap also, because it sounded way too good to be true. A month later, a human trafficking ring was busted by LAPD and the FBI. I am so glad that I listened to my gut and I put what my instructors said into perspective. As an adult, I still take what they said to me 10 years ago VERY seriously. If it sounds way too good to be true, it is.
Omg this almost happened to me! I applied for a high paying job and I couldn't find it on Google. When I got a call for a interview I kept asking for greater detail what the name of the company, what insurances do they offer, what's the name of my boss, etc. But they wouldn't give an answer. When I kept asking more they said they will just call me back and hung up. What job doesn't know the name of their fucken company?!
This shit happened to me to on indeed the place had abandoned buildings and something just wasn't right I was saying "This can't be where the interviews at" , something told me to leave and I did with a quickness. I was applying for a customer representative job.

Yeah I saw some sketchy job ads too. One guy told me to come for an interview on a Sunday. He was very vague with the details about where I was to meet him and when the interview would be. You gotta be really careful nowadays, because you never know.
I see a lot of sketch jobs on indeed I've never bumped into any like this but there are also a lot that are identity theft scams too.Especially if they are remote jobs so the general rule is to be wary and if it seems too good to be true the pay is too high etc. it... unfortunately probably is, that or it's an mlm and that's basically not a whole lot better because you won't actually be compensated in the manner the job lists you will be
I live in a tourist town where human trafficking is actually scarily common. We’re pretty high on the list. My parents don’t let me do anything on my own when we’re in the main city area. I always have to have a group of people or a guy with me. This is so scary. I just want everyone to stay safe.

Please be careful with women approaching you talking about a bible study. I’ve been approached multiple times by these girls that are around my age, they had asked to speak to me about God and said God was a women and they hold a women’s only bible study and invited me. I gave them my number and they were texting me asking if I was going to show up and something told me it didn’t feel right. She kept texting and I never replied and she would text weeks later. Anyways turns out they were all apart of a sex trafficking ring,they were on the news and they tell you to “meet” them at a place that is abandoned or somewhere where their is not a lot of traffic going on and they say “women’s only” bible study because they don’t want you to bring a man or it’ll make you feel more comfortable with it being a women’s only bible study. Be careful, it’s okay to be kind to people but don’t trust anyone so instantly and don’t meet someone in a unknown area.
This literally just happened to my friend and I 😭 we're both college students. So We were going to a place on campus to get food and they approached us while I was in the middle of ordering and they seemed to notice then said they'll wait till I'm done. So while I'm ordering my food my friend is off to the side and they are surrounding her telling her she's beautiful and all types of things right. The moment I get over there they say I'm beautiful too and I say thank you, then they go on about a bible study going on that night and they told us they were college students so I'm thinking the bible study is on campus and they proceeded to tell us it only takes about 15-20 minutes. Then they switch up their story and say they are having a festival tonight and they would love for us to go with them. The entire time I'm looking at them sideways like all of this is sketchy, then out of nowhere 2 more of them show up and started asking us questions and I hear my number for my food so I go get my food and my friend tells me she want to order food from a different place on campus so I was ok let's go. As we're walking off they stop us like " hey guys hold on, where are you going?" One runs up to us for confirmation after we tell her we're going to get food then she runs back to her group and they discuss something then 2 girls run up to us like OKAY we're going with you guys to said other place. My friend and I are looking confused because we dont need chaperones we're Adults 😂. The entire time we were walking to the other food place they are informing us on things in the bible and I already know this stuff growing up in a Christian family and as one girl was at least trying to distract us by talking the other girl was off to the side texting someone thinking we wouldn't notice. We're getting closer to the place and a group of people are behind us and one girl disappear when we enter the place and sit down at the table I ask the girl who was still with us where did her friend go and she acted kinda shocked like oh she probably got lost let me go find her. Well she wasn't lost they went out to signal more women who were with them and it was at least 5-6 more people. So I ask the one question that seals the deal for me and my friend. I ask them where is this bible study being held at and they tell me ridgewood which is like a 25-30 minute drive from my campus and then my friend and I started making excuses saying we can't go we have work or places to be. That's when their cover was blown because they started basically pressuring us to give them our schedule for the week after we told them we're busy. They told us that they were free the entire week but at the same time they are college students like us. It didn't make any sense, as a college student how are you living on campus with no classes during the fall semester? The university isn't that kind to just let you live there you must be enrolled full time to get dorming. Also they seemed to be unaware of events going on campus that every student would know of like homecoming, because this is our homecoming week but overall it seemed sketchy. Also what topped it off was the flyer they sent us was for a "church" in 2 different locations than the one we were told when I asked
I was a solo female tourist in Zurich Switzerland in 2013 and an older refined looking guy tried to traffic me using a more sophisticated and fancy promises style. I went back to my hotel then left out on the 1st flight the next morning. Always stay on guard.
Glitter And Roses I almost got kidnapped by a Uber driver last month. He was American and I thought he was a bit flirty but bearable. Then he started going off route and forcing me to eat chocolates that he had. They weren’t spiked but god knows what he wanted. I started shouting and jumping when the car stopped at an intersection and people came to help me. Reported the driver to Uber and he is suspended but all that is temporary. I hope everyone stays alert and safe.
So this happened to me a while ago. I was at the store with my mom and noticed this girl looking at me. I just smiled and walked away doing my shopping. My mom walked away to look at stuff and the girl moved in. She started telling me that she noticed my glasses and that she really liked how they complimented my face. I thought that was weird because the glasses were old and kinda dorky. I thanked her and thought she would leave but kept trying to make conversation that didn’t make sense, like she wanted information or to sell something. I kinda freaked out but my mom walked by and I turned to leave. I saw the girl again and she kept trying to get my attention. I walked away. I saw her walking after other girls and when I left I noticed she got in a car with some sketchy looking guy and didn’t even buy anything. 🤨

So, in addition to being aware of your surroundings and avoiding potentially dangerous situations, it's important to give your kids a stable home life that they won't want to leave.

I work as a nursing assistant and the other night I was working a night shift, sadly one of the resident's passed away, well I had to clean the body up before daylight, I was thinking to myself...."We shouldn't be afraid of the dead, it's the living we should be more cautious about". People are Capable of doing evil things to others and this is ONE OF THEM.

I was at H&M near Madison Square Garden the other day when this well-dressed girl who was shopping next to me approached me and immediately bombarded me with compliments and asked me about myself. She asked me if I model (I'm very tall and thin so people ask me this often) and I didn't think anything of it as I told her no. I figured she was a modeling scout. She told me she wasn't from the area, but that she was meeting upper management for the company she worked for at a weekend seminar. She kept telling me about her mentor and how I should meet him and how he changed her life. She asked me for my number and I stupidly gave it to her, not thinking for a second that this girl was shady. She seemed lonely and it's New York so there's a lot of people trying to network. It wasn't until I got home that my sister told me she was probably trying to traffic me and everything clicked. SMH. Long story short: Be very vigilant out there ppl.
Wow, I remember this one time where I was working and this guy pops out of nowhere and said that he was from Alaska. And starts asking me personal questions. I was working at that time and I talked to him, but I felt increasingly uneasy. As well as I think the same guy, stole a card from another person when it was in my hands. I know what this persona look like. He looks kind of old, like that time when he about develop wrinkles. Like he has gray ( or gray-brown) beard and mustache, but he looks a bit old.

I live in LA and a lot of places that claim to be "modelling/acting schools" or men and women who claim to be talent scouts/headhunters are really just fronts for human trafficking or are human traffickers. Horrifyingly, they often target children, telling parents they can make their child a model or actor/actress. If you're an aspiring model or actor/actress in LA (or the parent of one), seriously, do your research into any company or person who claims to represent people in the entertainment industry, even if they appear reputable. Ask them for a client list; any reputable place will be happy to give you a list of people they've helped because it's good for business. If they're evasive about telling you who they've helped, that's a huge red flag. Also, be extra super duper careful if you're a single young woman who just recently moved to LA in the hopes of becoming a model or actress (single young men should be careful as well, trafficking of men and boys is on the rise too). They often see young women who've just recently moved to the city as prime targets because they usually have very few local connections and don't know the area as well. Also, know that human traffickers can look like anyone; in fact, they often recruit handsome young men and kindly looking women as traffickers because they're seen as more trustworthy. Traffickers don't have a specific look. Stay safe everyone.
This world is getting crazy 😱. They are making it hard for men and women to approach one another for a relationship or for a friendship, perhaps just lending a helping hand to a stranger in need. It's like nobody is safe and the media barely talks about it. Hearing this disgust me. Stay safe people and keep a close eye on your love ones as well because predators might have their eyes on them.
This is why people should only initiate relationships with people they already know/see on a daily basis at work/school/church etc. Not that hard to leave strangers alone. You don't have to get with a stranger just because you find her pretty lol.

When I was 14, I had left my house without my parents permission after getting into a argument with them, I went to the park with a couple of friends it was my first time ever leaving so after a couple of hours I became anxious and decided to go home, they offer to walk with me but I said no even though I had an awful feeling. It wasn't until a red car noticed me by the time I noticed it I didn't think much It looked like it was parking so I keep walking but then I noticed it was following me slowly, it made me scared considering nobody but us was in the streets and it was getting dark. I keep walking faster and the car did too it wasn't until I noticed people and did it stop. I was still pretty far from home and then I remembered my aunt lived closed by did I start running to her house

Often the trafficker will also buy things like gifts or give the victim a place to stay and give them food and look after them etc then suddenly will turn on them saying "I spent a lot on you and you owe me now, make me my money back" and then will threaten them if they don't
She forgot to mention scissors or honey on a car. Fake oil spill or a car blocking you in. I am a straight woman. Since 2011, I started shaving my hair all off and wearing most men's clothes by choice. Over the years, I noticed that cars would stop pulling over asking me for a ride, cat calling has declined significantly, and creepy men aren't harassing me. Because I don't look vulnerable or attractive to them, I noticed that I am not targeted as much or nearly at all
I do this, too. Unless I’m out with the hubs. Otherwise I wear boxy clothes, try to look like a turd in public. I don’t care. I still get compliments and creeps. Recently I had a security guard escort me out to my car cause some weirdo was intently staring at my child and I & I told him to stop & yelled. It gained the attention of bystanders. Always something to look over your shoulder for. Keep a weapon on you and try to live your life! Situational awareness my friends!

Human Trafficking is a LIFETIME movie. Look it up online to buy it. I have it. Very good movie based on various true events. Saw it first on LIFETIME in 2005. I cried for over a month.
I had a lady compliment me once at target and thought nothing of it tuil i noticed she was following me around .My first instict was to make a scene and ask her why she was following me around really loud, she then denied it and looked embarrassed and left.
Was at Walmart a few hours ago. Two older guys were standing outside, when I walked in one followed me. When I went to get a cart, he did too, and he stopped me and said “you have a beautiful smile. You’re so beautiful, you look like that one singer”. I confidently said “thanks!” And he didn’t really respond...then I kinda just walked off. Hopefully he was just a genuinely nice man, but you never know.
People please be present with your kids. Show them love, so they don't need to look elsewhere for it. For adults, please stay alert cause they will get you as an adult too. If it looks too good to be true it is. We are in a time where you have to side eye everyone.
Thinking about it now, when I was younger I was followed around a fabric store by two men ,, I assumed they thought I was stealing something because of my age but now that I think about it, no 40+ year old men should be following a 12 year old girl

about two weeks ago i was out alone at night when i noticed this same car kept passing by me . i was walking on a street & i seen a car just waiting at a stop , keep in mind there’s no cars passing or anyone crossing the street and i wasn’t going to cross the street and if i was i was still pretty far and he had the chance to go but i didn’t think nothing of it at the moment . I took a turn to go home when i noticed the car & I knew i’ve seen it and i started to get a little sketched out so i stood in the same place and took my phone out & started recording to see if it would pass by and just my luck , he did ! I was so scared but didn’t want to show him that so I got up and while I did it passed by again and I didn’t feel safe walking any further alone so i called my brother and step dad . while i was waiting to get picked up , i kept moving around to not stay in the same spot i was in , i was at a stoplight and the car was going at the same pace i was and that’s when i took out my phone and started recording , I asked him multiple times “are you looking for someone” and he “didn’t hear me “ until the 3rd time and he asked me “what’s your name “ and with that i let him know i was recording and held my phone high . I then said “ you don’t need to know my name “ and he replied and said “no?” and he basically wrapped it and said “ he was an uber driver “ but honestly he would have known my name . After this the car drive off & i cannot make this up there was a second car that i knew was passing by me and i thought i was just paranoid but it left as soon as the other car drove off . still don’t know to this day what could have happened . This did happen again but even scarier and i promise you this is all 100% true .

the job thing is not just tv and entertainment stuff! it's also daycare, bookkeeping, and other jobs that can be run out of a smaller building. watch out for if the interview location is sketchy and does not look immediately like the type of place said job would be at.
There was this guy that looked familiar at the grocery store yesterday and he stared at me, then he continued walking and later passed again. I continued on and everywhere I went in the store when I turned around he was there on the phone. One of the times I looked back he passed and I continued to watch him and as he turned I saw the phone up to his ear was recording. He continued to follow me until I checked out, where he left the store still holding his phone to his ear and didn't buy anything. He clearly wasn't on the phone and was videoing and I was so scared I just left without buying everything I needed but didn't tell the cashier even though I should've. Im nervous that he looked familiar to me in the beginning and that he didn't buy anything and followed me the whole time. It feels like his main purpose of being in there was me.

People please remember that our phones have gps as well as facebook messenger where can send someone ur location!!! They even have small trackers you can wear! We are not talking about teen, kids as well make them alert put a tracker on your kid whenever they arent around you.
Because by warning girl what to look out for, more predators can get caught by the potential victims reporting the incidents as some of the commentators have mentioned. Not warning girls is exactly what these guys count on. But an informed woman who knows what goes on is a powerful woman vs an unsuspecting woman who is not informed of the tricks they use. It doesn’t have to be focusing on talk about the threat or focusing on ideas on catching the traffickers - it should be both. I know a couple of organisations that get funding for this work and all they do is try infiltrate networks, locate the girls etc and Iv always said why not just talk to girls and boys in schools etc and educate them before they find themselves in these positions.
I went on craigslist to look for a job(first mistake) I saw an offer for female black jack dealers for private parties. I applied and they asked for a picture of me(second mistake) I sent a picture and then I received a call shortly after but I was unable to answer because I was in the library. I tried to call back as soon as I could exit the library and never got a response back. The ad was taken down the next day. It never felt right to me.
The very people they’re training are some that are INVOLVED in human trafficking as well. It’s great that they’re informing them, however they are also putting those with ill will at an advantage.

Sadly, this is a true story... Yrs ago when I was a very pretty 18 yr old. I was looking for a job. I answered an ad by a guy who said they did temp work of all kinds and to meet them at Denny's. But he also rly went into detail about what I looked like and extra excited when I mentioned being 18 and black. I heard s' one say "Black! Yes!! The hardest to get! I had a weird feeling n kept turning that over in my head. He told me to wear a nice dress and come looking beautiful. He promised lots of money, n said they specialized in rly attractive office assistants.. S'thg did not sit right. But I brushed it off. The next day ev'thg went wrong. S' one hit my 🚗 / I was 😢 n upset/ I was over an hour late, n make up smeared from crying. I decided to get myself tog' r before going in figuring it was too late n I lost the job anyway. As I tried to fix my face, I saw the 🚪 open and 3 ppl came out. 1 woman and 2 rly large men. They had about 6/7. Very pretty girls w/ them and were steering them to 2 VANS!! 2 or 3 girls obviously didn't want to go but seemed to feel intimidated. One girl had tears in her eyes saying she didnt want to leave her 🚗. The lady promptly took her keys n assured her they would bring it. I suddenly had the most horrible feeling looking at the scene. I immed left and called the 🚔 Weeks later I learned sev'l yong women had disappeared from that restaurant w/o a trace!...
One time this guy messaged me on Instagram asking me if I wanted a sugar daddy...I said no I'm not interested in that type of thing. He said fine but I was wondering how he found my page because I keep it private and almost never accept people. He said he found me in the comment section on instagram and I blocked him. It might have not been sex trafficking but it definitely was really weird.
Never respond to those types of messages. To men, no means try harder. Make a notation (screen shot), but never feel compelled to respond. Be safe shorty!
There was someone on my trip to Australia who was following me in the store, I got scared as a 11 year old because my grandma always told me stories about men who followed her and her friends with the bad intentions. I took left and right turns and he responded by following me from a different angle. I started to panic and sat down on the floor(dumb move I know), I stood up as soon as I heard familiar footsteps that was coming near me. Luckily I ran in zig zags and my mom yanked me out of the store because she had a gut feeling(her gut feelings are 90% of the time true). I didn’t tell her because I thought that I was just tripping and that maybe he was just walking around like me. Should have told my mom and the store owner.
I've come across a sick lure tactic for women! Please Don't open your door/window if you hear a Baby crying call 911 ASAP IF heard for your safety! The predators know a woman will quickly try to save a baby! Be safe Please

If you see child car seats in random places. Please do not stop and try to get it cuz its a trap. Literally seen 2 car seats on the street in the middle of nowhere yesterday. I was traveling back to Oklahoma from California. Brand new car seats just on the side of the rode.

The judicial system needs to give the death penalty for all human traffickers, people profiting off kidnapping, hurting and allowing men to rape victims of human trafficking are the most vile soulless people on earth, they should be punished with death penalty and we need to work together as a society to provide counseling, medical treatment and provide programs to help them get jobs to assist survivors to start and have a better life.
The job opportunities once freaked me out so badly.. I've gotten two or three messages from small accounts saying a brand wants to work with me, and I almost accepted one. Its so scary to think those could've been traffickers.
These guys tried to grab me and I'm a 36 year old black man..they followed me from one street to another in different cars and waited until I got to an area where I couldn't get help to try to snatch me. They were chasing and looking for me for 5 hours..they were definelty professionals
Today there was this girl in a Starbucks who was with a much older guy. She looked around me and my friends age. After some time she got up and asked us if we wanted anything to eat and then proceeded to get up a second time to ask for our names. The guy she was with was being a bit mean to her and we got bad vibes from him instantly. They left before we even left but they were there for a good while almost as soon as we got in they were there.
Watch out for job sites as well like indeed, I applied for a customer representative and I got a text few minutes later. I schedule an interview at like 4:30pm and fast forward I drive to the place and my map takes me somehwere with epty buildings and no one really around I got this werid feeling in my gut telling me to leave now and I did with a quickness. Gotta be careful out here they getting more creative.
