I want to expand to music history and I want to expand to E-Books as well. I am well versed in Premiere, I have some photo shop skills/experience and I also use illustrator on my I-Pad. To learn to create E-Books is InDesign the next program I should become familiar with?

For PC, the keyboard shortcut to get the pop-up Color Picker is Alt+Shift+right-click-drag. Thanks for showing me the Mac version and mentioning that you didn't know the PC version. I've taught PS at high school & college for years . . . and never knew how to find that pop-up. Thanks for teaching the teacher-or at least prompting him to do some research and experimentation!
About the 3rd tip: Why don't you create an outline of the character V, seems easier to me... because you can immediately add a text wrap to that object (outline) and you don't need to add a path.

Before I eat my own neck, can someone offer some basic advice. I need to basically drag and drop some logo's (business and charity) onto a stock windbreaker image. Hey. My Photoshop palettes looks different than yours in 8:40. When I double click on the mask I don't get those properties like you and I don't find the R 'Refine Edge Brush tool'.... I have the current version of PS CC2020. What I have to change to get the same setup like you?

On the V which went out of the page, I was looking at the opposite page with the picture and if that is part of the story, then I would use the color and cloud pattern that is in the back ground.

4:44 I still think the drop shadow on the leaves (that stick out of the letter) are a bad design choice. Leaves hang mid-air and have no natural drop shadows.

Hi at 14:00 you could also stack a vector mask made with the path on top of the first mask by clicking the mask icon again. That way you can alter the selection if necessary later on.
1:03 - or use overprint in the same layer while on top? What's better for creating cPDF's? Multiply or overprint? I know the safest would be a layer behind but it's not the same as the other two (0,0,0,100 for black if not on multiply or overprint).
Interesting. I wish more of the woman was coming out of the V, like part of her skirt and leg. I don't like the layers or masks feature. Seems tedious.

I’m so bad at learning software but I’m a great designer (I like to think). I would approach this by manually adding spaces at the front of paragraph lines and then make the V like 120pt or something
as much as I appreaciate this tipps, but I noticed that designer are not so creative. they copy things from other designers. It's not bad, but it's not good also.
