Love it, thank you! 1. Very very clear and powerful value prop 2. Very very strong call-to-action (at the top and bottom minimum) 3. Keep people very very focused (minimum navigation) 4. Visuals - explain what they’re signing up for and invoke emotion 5. Social proof - show examples of other people using/buying/loving it (logos, numbers, testimonials)
Never considered getting rid of the navigation on my landing page projects, that’s such a good idea that I may have to implement with some of my clients. Appreciate it 👍👍
Yes. You should try and minimize the distractions. User land on your landing pages for a purpose and that is to see what you have to offer. I usually try and have the form above the fold.
Yeah, it's definitely an interresting solution for optimizing the UX! Most of the time people don't want to get into all the (extra) information, if there is alot of text. The art is to give users the feeling that they allready know where it's all about, instantly.
Your videos are great and thought provoking, even for Senior-level software engineers. The video editing you do is professional-grade. Thanks for the content and for the level of effort videos of this quality require.
If it wasn't for you. I wouldn't really know what goes into building website😅😅....like these small things are easy to miss out ..thanks , awesome video👍👍
Thank you! Do you think its important to include a price for a SaaS app in landing page? I am only proving something like 50% off but I don’t know how much the actual cost and pricing plans will be yet
Thanks! That was excellent! But … can you use AdSense on your landing page? After all, if they don't purchase from you, then you might get a commission from your competition. … GOD Bless!!!
Do you have actual examples, like actual examples of non multi million dollar websites? We all know we won't be offering services like Shopify, Netflix or what what... This is way too unrealistic for me
Why do people not understand the critical importance of editors??? Even the night cleaners could have watched 5 minutes of this video and told them the endkess very-very’s are both annoying and detracting, plus will also lose them viewers.
Hz. Jesus Christ is not God. neither is Allahu Teala's son. He is one of the Prophets of Allahu Teala and there is no God but Allahu Teala LAİLAHEİLLALLAH Please learn the İslam before you die You must be a real müslim (ehli sünnet) This is very important so that you don't stay in hell forever
We have Landing page where we want people download a content, but also down below the form we have suggested other complimentary 3 content with 3 CTAs. This is a bad practice, right?
Instant subscribe! So many of these design channels are becoming very self indulgent with their content which is 'very very' (😂) frustrating. I wanted the facts and you gave me the facts! 👍
I’m very indecisive if to do a landing page AND a website or just a landing page for my own service based business. But if I do a website, should I eliminate navigation options from my website?
Thank you so so so much, this is so useful. I have to complete an assignment (Make a landing page for a company) to get a job and you have made it so easy to understand. Thank you once again..
Hey ran here's a feedback about the video. Try to add a diffuser to that side violet purple light... It's too harsh on the face and distracting me personally alot😬
I would have to say that Netflix does have social proof by showing which popular movies and TV shows are on the background image of the hero section. I mean, it's not your typical social proof, but I think it shows that the platform has done business with major film studios which in turn shows users that they've been able to convince major players in the entertainment industry to put their content on their platform.
I thought the same thing- it's just a different market type so the "social proof" or third-party validation is really what provides value to the customer which in their case is what content they offer to users. Same concept different application.
@@cristinaalexamorales574 Yes, exactly! It’s cool to analyze things like this because it kind of breaks the rules a bit but definitely still effective and very creative because idk how else Netflix would show social proof without being too “corporatey" 😅
Thank you so much for this clear explanation of exactly what a landing page is and how it’s used. I am totally new at creating my own website and I really needed this. Thanks again
I guess "Get Started" button always makes me think that it is a trick and heads me to the folowing points : no it is not free at all, too much time to discover, it will force me to subscribe or other bullshit. Leave page!
whats the difference between a landing page and a home page? In one video you compared two law firm pages and both had a lot more info than these ones.
Landing page is usually used as a single page (not an entire website) that is geared towards getting customers for your product(s). But home page, as the name suggests, is the home of the website. It shows off that it has other pages in the websites as well. Landing pages are great if you are selling only one product, though it is not limited to one product.
That was an easy and amazing content at same time! Very clear. I already subscribed indeed... then trying to understand if my langing pages matches those 5 points. 😁
Great tips and also explanation lads! Now i'm realize if my design on website landing page is have unpleasing experience and not meets these 5 crucial factor! Rly enjoying your video men. Your new subscriber!
Question, please. Should the landing page give any indication that it is associated with a certain product? I mean, just give a general idea about solving a problem, without giving away the name of the product, right? (which someone would see watching the vsl)... Would it be ok to note on the landing page there's a $1 trial? Though the headline says "free video..." with a free ebook? Probably tmi, but want to do it right. Awesome vid, btw.
Hey, landing pages are usually an extension of your brand that you can easily customize to match your specific ad or offer. Most of the time you'd like to keep things simple and only have one conversion action per page, very different than a homepage that has a lot of external links like navigation. Hope this helps 🙌
@@CosminSerbanDesign Agreed that they are different, especially in the fact that a landing page usually focuses on a single campaign or message, but many of the elements covered in the video still apply to building a homepage.
I am creating a website for a educational organization and the main purpose of this website is to attract the faculty to work with us to facilitate their teaching. Should I follow this 5 elements on our homepage for our case? Thanks.
Imagining that you said one thing that is very important is that you need to click the like button before I even remembered to click on like. That was a good reminder
it is very true, even if those websites are a bit boring at times but they do bring sales apparently. Many smaller companies that do quite a bit of sales of the courses for example, make it quite simple and without much distractions (some do mention impressive statistics though to entice). People nowadays have no patience to read information in text a lot, unless maybe it is a dedicated blog's post which they found while searching on google by keywords (= were interested to read something like that). Some people told the website looks pretty, others would say "there is so much there! hard to choose". voila! Now brainstorming how to simplify the websites and also creating a landing page for the 1st course (an amateur designer here).
In most cases, you dont have to reinvent the wheel with ANYTHING. Always look for people that are doing what you are interested in, put your own spin and style on it, and have fun.
