🥘Hey friends!! My favorite meal this week was definitely Thursday! What are some smash hit meals your family has been enjoying recently?? Leave all your yummy ideas here for everyone to enjoy and add to their meal plans for this week!
I LOVE the basic recipes - sometimes you just need simple nutrition to balance out all the other yummies, and this was right up my alley this week. A friendly suggestion for your channel (that could save you some setup, recording, and editing time), consider just showing us the plated meals of the week. I love the weekly videos from channels like What’s for Tea and Wright at Home. 😊
Ok I was watching this late tonight and got so hungry, everything looked so delicious. But couldn't stop thinking about the deviled eggs. So yes I had to go make some. Maybe I should start watching earlier. Lol great video !
I use about a half a teaspoon of baking soda in my boiling water and for some reason it seems to work for me. I also get the eggs to a boil, let them boil for one minute, and put the lid on just before I turn it off. Then I take it off of the fire, and let it sit anywhere from 7 to 10 minutes, depending on how you like your yolks to be cooked. As soon as the time is up, I rinse some under cold water and leave them in an ice bath for a bit (if I happen to have ice… )and peel them immediately. So many great ideas here it be fun to watch. Somebody tried the different methods with a few eggs, even the one that may not be in this thread, but were you Pin prick the egg I believe on the pointy end? Before you put it in the pot to boil. Haven’t tried that one. Thanks for the great recipes!I love your organization and the way you use your space!
I love Zatarains blackening season for chicken or salmon. For the salmon, sprinkle mediumly on top and cook on grill or air fryer. Then squeeze lemon juice on top. Sogood!
If you have an Instapot- eggs come out perfect and easy to peel 99% of the time. 1 C water 1 dozen eggs on rack Pressure Cook 5 minutes Natural release 5 minutes Ice & cold water 5 minutes Then peel.
I love this kind of video!! I made a tuna casserole the other day with fresh tomatoes and olives that everybody loved ❤ My question is what is a taco salad? We don’t usually eat that here in Sweden. We have taco shells with the fillings you prepared. Please enlighten me 😅!
Omgosh! I found the BEST boiled egg trick!! You can gently tap the larger end with a spoon until you hear a pop of the membrane snapping! Then boil them like normal and shock them in ice water! I was so skeptical at first but it totally works! Easy peeling.
For perfect hard boiled eggs…especially the fresh eggs that are sooo hard to peel… use the instant pot. 1 cup water. 5 minutes High pressure , 5 minutes natural release, 5 minutes in an ice bath.
I always add my eggs to boiling water instead of cold. When the water starts to boil again I set a 5 minute timer. Pull them off the heat cover for 15 mins then into ice water. The shells pop right off everytime whether they are fresh or not
Hey I steam my eggs. I halfway fill a skillet with water and steam them. Then I rinse them under cool water and immediately peel them. Comes out perfect.
I do my eggs in an instant pot, easiest peeling eggs EVER! Low pressure for 7 minutes Eggs on grate with 1 cup water in the bottom Quick release Put in ice bath until ice is melted
Yay!! I just love these videos! I can’t figure out how you get so much done ahead of time, though! My having a super clingy toddler doesn’t help, I’m sure…
