5 days overnight in deep snow woods. No talking, just bushcraft the “primitive” way: I am using a traditional Canvas Tent, Russian Stove and a Cargo Sledge for the trip. Cooking over the fire and making bread in a cast iron pot. Axe, frame saw and knife to make a survival bow for my little braves Seda & Daniel. Woodworking and carving with hand tools. Sin hablar, solo Bushcraft al estilo "primitivo": mi refugio es una tienda de campaña de lona tradicional, una estufa rusa y un trineo de carga para el viaje. I am a school teacher, a student could learn more here with this woman in a day than I could hope to teach them in a lifetime in a classroom. Our children's mental health would be much better if all school days were like this. We might also realise why we can't go on destroying the planet as we are if we had outdoor schools like this.

I have to say, that is very first time I have ever seen someone use a knife like you do to create bow. Amazing! I have always done it one handed where one are gets very tired of cutting the wood. My hat is off to you and this fantastic film, and love how wonderful you treat children! I have made biscuits over fire in pans but not tried bread yet and will this summer with wife and daughter. Wonderful film - fun time!

The best.! This is what I do with my twins girls. Where we are it doesn't snow but we get the green jungle, creeks & rivers, hills & mountains. What a phenomenal lot of gifts you are giving to your children!! Those experiences will be remembered and cherished for a lifetime. I've worked with troubled teenagers and almost without fail, especially the worst of them- murderers, gang leaders, rapists etc., had no mother or father that cared enough to invest in their lives, teach them things or play with them. You, dear mother, are a wonderful, skillful and caring exception. camping isnt much different than in the usa,i really like your organization skills and enjoyed your 5 da y adventure,thanks to a likeable family,all are good workers and no whiners

:) Oh, thanks a lot for a so warm comment. That`s the idea: the primitive way is not the easy way but is the way to learn how life is: hands are made to work not only in keyboards, light or warmth does not come from a wire, food does not grow in supermarkets :)
