Since my ex left i lost 50 pounds more active than i have in the whole time i was with her.. been focusing on myself.. took 5 months to heal and accept the breakup went no contact. Have a new girlfriend and still focusing on myself and her its a new change I'm happy.. i dont regret shutting the door on ny ex..
You have failed to address the issue of Limerence. Some “money branching” is actually a Limerent Episode. And while this will typically not work out either, it can last longer. It also is a state of mind that some people seem to have little control over. It is not talked about enough and it does not typically occur in a rebound. But it is very common in an affair.
Right on the 🎯, all we can do as the dumpee is step back and let them be in their new relationship and limerence and work on ourselves and wait for their limerence to fade and when they finally wake up they will feel the pain they caused you, they might marry this person, they might have a baby together and move in, they do things they haven't done with you. And it is extremely painful as the dumpee, so we need to focus on us and let them be and heal.
My ex monkey branched after our 4 years relationship. 9month later she came back because it was a roller coaster (during she was calling me every month, and eventually the guy dumped her). I made her run and chase after me for 3 month, 100% of pursuing,chasing,initiating and effort was only done by her. I was only chasing my excellence,vision and purpose. Then gave her an other chance. We got engaged, seemingly it was better than ever, only after an other 2.5 years she monkey branched again to her very first ex from ~20 years ago, as soon as she figured he just got divorced. My ex dumped me after stepping over boundaries and I pulled her up on them. she then asked me back to work it out. while working it out as a friend of hers was the drama causing crap between us because she hates her own life my exshe monkey branched never talked to me and said nope when I found out it was all my fault I was abusive to her apparently and made her do it. I’m so happy because I have been able to do the work and help myself and see her for who she is. My ex monkey brached and now theyre with another person more than a half a year, look still so happy and comitted to each other. I dont want my ex back but I feel strong resentment because the whole situation looks so unfair to me. My ex appeared very religious, God-loving and faithfull, but what happened to me was the worst, so similar to your experience. I was cheated and punished BADLY and without pity for my willing to work on relationship with sincere, love and open heart. Now I doubt my happiness with any person in the future.

Savagely and brutally discarded, blindsided in a manner most cruel. No explanation, no closure....just "bang-bang"... youre gone. A shell of you exists and you can't eat sleep or function. My sentences were labored. I absent-mindedly interjected words onto sentences that made no sense. For example: "I have to go buy groceries they got married." It was crazy. My FA ex monkey branched to another after a mostly good four-year relationship/situationship. He did the slow fade after expressing deep feelings. He was aided by her family in order to "help" her in overcoming an issure. Absurb, yes, and it actually happened that way. He is a people pleaser. He wanted to date and remain "friends" with me . Hell no! I let him go without a tear.. No questions, no complaints. I am secure, and mentally tough. Although I was heartbroken, I just let him go, and wished him well. NC forever for me.Never again. I am healing and moving on.

My ex, the dumper, got back with me, but currently resisting talking about our relationship so we can work things out. I now suspect hes rebounded between me and an ex GF during the past several times we've broken up in the past 2 years. Hes an avoidant. I may have to move on due to suspicions and diminishing trust.
I think you need to move on my friend… I don’t know much about your situation but the fact that she’s resisting to talk about your relationship so you can work things out it’s a red flag and the way that you feel is also an indicator. There’s something is wrong. Trust your gut intuition 🙏🏽
Hey coach Paz , sending back all the blessings back to you for all the insight you have given to me , pity I only came across you after all the pain and suffering I'm going through, as I was convinced she was the one ....but the Phoenix is gradually rising , break up is still fresh (under a month) and she chose to do it on her birthday!!! She did it twice before and came back ,and I forgave and accepted her with open arms , but NOT this time , and btw she's already in a rebound relationship. After 15 years together!!! I tried everything to save it , she also refused going to therapy , as she said that there's no point going , and put the blame entirely on me . I've lost appx 10kg in these 3 weeks.

It has been 10 months and im beginning to laugh and live again. Its been traumatic. I have Post Infidelity Stress Disorder. I couldn't eat sleep open mail pay bills unpack after moving out or anything. I left so many gas caps behind too....oh dear!

My ex still reaches out at times, then diappears for afew days, then reaches out again, comes over and is sexually active with me. Then she'll leave and say she doesn't care, ghost me for afew days and then do the same thing again. She even told me she loves me, then back to ghosting. It's so crazy.

Than i should kind of discard rebounding because she took three months and some days before she start posting her and her new boyfriend. Even though you mentioned a rebound can still happen in a year if emotion is not properly addressed . At least you knew the reason why your break up happened. It seems they are able to bypass the grief. If they don't self reflect and they move on to another person...they may have years of distraction. I do not want my ex-husband to come back, more on the contrary. But we are co--parenting and he is being so immature, selfish and unreliable.
They will have issues like depression, anxiety, etc. Their relationships will be toxic, the social media fantasy they broadcast to the world that they are so happy living their best life is a lie. Healthy secure relationships are hard enough as it is, you think this type of behavior of jumping from one thing to the next is going to yield a healthy solid relationship? Naw
I was a rebound and the next is also a rebound ... my relationship was on off and he is officialy together with her... and the Next reach out for me and wants to meet me with my ex... she also told me what they do always together...and thats exactly things what he do also with me... but faster... Since I don't believe that he has learned anything from his mistakes... unfortunately this relationship will fail... he has zero empathy... But I won't know for sure until it comes down to it
My ex broke up with me after we had a "relationship break" for 5 months. Within that "break" we still had some kind of "friends with benefits" and had sex very often. Then she met this other guy that she knew a bit from work (but didn't talk very good of him until then). And they had sex one week BEFORE she broke up with me. So even if we were in a "break" I consider this monkey branching because she only broke up at that time because she already had someone new. That guy is 22 years older than here, unhealthy teeth, smoker (she HATES smoking). So is this a rebound / monkey branching? My guess is a bit of both. But imho nothing serious
Hey me and my ex in a relationship for 6 years in January he started distancing with me, he said all the feeling for you fade away now I don't feel anything for you and than in 11feb, he started talking with someone else as a friend (he told me). And on 17 feb we broke up because I picked up a fight because of some reason and they were continuously talking with each other that girl was supporting him as his mood was off because of relationship and after few days they slept with each other😑and now they are planning to get marry is this a rebound or monkey branching.
I was with him for 22 years & he blindsided me 2 years ago & monkey branched. I have not spoken to him since, nor will I. I heard he's been living with her for a year already. I'm 57, he's 70. I saw a side to him in the end when he became very mean & where everything I did bothered him. I'm still healing because it was a huge span of my life that I'm never going to get back. I have no desire to date at this time because I know I'm not ready to trust yet.
You can’t say just get rid, better your self you know if you made mistakes you know if you slipped and your misses thought you wouldn’t get back up, be the better man if you was at the top of your game fk them off I agree but if you wasn’t and made mistakes correct them then get through the pain if they come back atleast you won’t be in the same situation and will be a good relationship even better than before
