100% My ex monkeybranched to some guy and I have to see them both once a week. She went so far out of her way to rub it in my face that it just disgusts me. Tomorrow will be 30 days no contact and I haven’t once reacted, never even questioned her about the relationship and I feel like it made her mad because she looks pissed every time I see her and stares at me even when she’s with her new guy.

He’s correct. I’m a few years out and I decided to go no contact so I could heal. I could tell when she was having a hard time with whoever she was with, or between dudes because she would suddenly start hovering. They always come back, don’t fall for it.
The new person will always be in the background, and you will be sleeping with one eye open. Don’t take a monkey branching ex back ever.. never ever ever. They are just users and abusers. Find someone who wants you for you, and won’t leave you to cheat and start a whole relationship while still being in a relationship.
They lost me. I tried to get her back so hard and seriously hurt my feelings through out the time. I could not imagine trying to jump into another relationship. This divorce is definitely fucked my mind and soul up. She quickly moved abroad. Left me the house I built for her the dog the car and after eight years you think their would have been some fight from her. I hope she meets someone new and realises nobody is perfect.
Lol my thing is these are the serial dater types. They don’t know how to be single and stay alone. Nope 👎🏽 they’ve gotta be sleeping their way through the sadness. They are never truly single. I remember those lovely moments when we would look into each other’s eyes and say sweet nothings embracing each other tight sayings like I love you , I want no one else , I’ll never leave you , after 5 years, 6 months broken up ,she gets married to another guy in less than a month, now I see her as a disgusting human being
One suggestion… once they return, never give them a closure, never tell them your feelings … act interested but never commit … Just watch and enjoy , they deserve it … And finally go for a person who deserves you ….

My soon to be ex husband monkey branch - rebound to this woman that I don’t understand how in the world he can be with her . Regardless the minute I found out I told him that the were no chance of me ever going back . I don’t want him back , he lost all value, and now I see him with different eyes .
My ex finished me by saying "just go". We arranged to meet the day after to talk and they decided to look after a dog and told me "they will let me know what time" even though we planned to meet in the morning. When that happened I wanted the last say so I ended it. My last relationship was both the dumpee and that has an effect where the first dumpee gets into rebound or sleeps around and the other dumpee gets their life back on track, has no sex, no relationship for weeks and moves on within 6-12 weeks and doesn't look back.

I was essentially one of the many people he monkeyed branched to. I was a placeholder for two years. SMH n I see why ppl left him now. Lol 😂 everything he said the exes did he did directly to me. They tell on themselves. I’m now 2 months come 7/18 from the toxicity n chaos.
She was breadcrumbing me for 3 months and I had enough. She sensed my disconnect and finally became attracted to me. A stranger (her ex) walked up to me and said: ‘she’s all yours’ then walked away. I only then realized that she was in a relationship while dating me. She then monkey-branched toward me but figuratively fell to the ground as she let go of her ex but I wasn’t there for her. I’m very sad to this day because I now realize she was very immature and followed bad advice from her damaged, jealous girlfriends and female family members to be a player/feminist. She is lonely and single 40 years later.
Man I can relate to that last part so much with the toxic friends. When my ex and I were struggling I tried to warn her about her friends how they’re sick and don’t have her best intentions at heart. She thought I was just hating on them because I don’t like them and sure enough she followed their advice and monkeybranched into a relationship with a guy who’s more successful than me. Been 29 days no contact today. I never even reacted or asked her why or how she could do that to me I just walked away. A big part of me hopes she comes back just so I can tell her she lost her chance.

A lot of external influence in her decision, and picked up the first guy who showed interest - her mother’s friend’s son.

Im angry a myself for how ive handled post breakup. Ex moved on with a guy but has contacted me numerous times “checking on me,thinking bout me”. The last time she did i ended up getting angry and accused her of fucking with my head,breadcrumbing, she even said she isnt so sure bout this new guy, and i still got angry and said im sick of hearing about this guy. Probably not what you want to hear but it's probably time to move on from her. Go no contact start dating again in time. If when enough time has passed and perhaps you've been through a new relationship aswell and you're both single at the time and have both grown and you find yourself naturally moving towards each other again then go for it. A friend of mine recently got married to a high school sweetheart after about 10 years apart. It can happen but don't wait around for it. If you got together again now it would always be on your mind that they could do it again and that's a horrible place to be in.
Set boundaries, my friend. She is using you. Nobody cares about her feelings. She is the one who left you. Let her feel her choice, her mistake, the consequence of leaving a man who was always by her side, through her darkest times . Think about your value. Be polite, but respond as short as possible. Respond like you are indifferent, even if you're not. Stay strong 💪
Establish your boundaries for you, not for her. Self reflect, really know what you want and what you won't accept in a relationship. If she shows signs of being a serial line stepper over your boundaries. Then it's probably not healthy for you, and you need to consider your needs going forward. Be kind to yourself. You deserve the absolute best, and that's hard when you feel your ex was the best for you. However, they have to truly respect you because you respect yourself. They have to have a burning desire for you and not just luke warm ambivalence. They have to want to walk over burning coals, cross mountains, and sail seas to be by your side to passionately love you. If they don't, then they are just weighing options and not serious about the relationship. I'm going thru a similar situation to you, and reading your question and responding to you is helping me to crystallise in my own mind what I need to see. My wife is Avoidant, so there's that, but it's still a conscious decision to cheat. Hope all goes well, brother.
