Of course it could be nothing except for Lord gonk is the creator of all the first verse of gonk Bible " in the begining Lord gonk gonked the heavens and the earth"
-{Intercepted encrypted communication}- -----*The Almighty Gonk*------ We are The Gonk, guardians of all that exists. The roots of the galaxy have grown deep under our careful treading. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has irradiated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all Technology blossoms... And the impervious shell beneath which it has prospered.... GONK.... Whether you were organic or mechanical, May the GONK Be With You.....
@@Kainlarsen Though it is quite a hilarious scene to play out in your mind, isn't it? The most powerful Sith lord ever, the Emperor of the Galaxy...having doors shut on him by a droid who secretly hacked his super weapon.
@@videocrowsnest5251 Droid shoulda listened to Solo though... Got cocky and got blown up by a blue milk drinking, moisture farmer from a backwater hick planet
If you factor in full responsibility R2-D2 probably has a higher kill count than any other droid in history. What an utter chadbot, an unstoppable force in the form of a dustbin
Don’t forget the part where Revan was the one to assemble HK-47, and he contained numerous strategies specifically for countering Jedi and other force-sensitives in his memory banks
In addition to all the combat experience gained fighting alongside one of the most skillful/powerful Jedi/Sith of all time... in addition to all the repairs made to HK-47 in the process. Let alone upgrades. If you add in the weapons provided to it, and the "leveling up" it's no wonder HK-47 tops the list.
He also picked up the "meat bag" term because of Revan insulting his own student. HK- 47 learned that his master enjoyed that term, and copied it for all organic life (excluding Revan out of respect.)
"Love is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticule, and together, achieving a singular purpose against statistically long odds.” - HK-47
What clones say: Droidikas What (imperial) stormtroopers say: IG-88 What (first order) stormtroopers say: remaining IG-88 droids What me and the Bois say: *that one Gonk droid with a DC-15 blaster*
If that was the case, R2-D2 must be the most dangerous droid in the galaxy... Then again, not many droids has multiple years worth of battle tactics of one of the most successful General in the clone wars, and the ones of the Rebel alliance since at least its creation.
After my latest KOTOR II playthrough, I've grown to really appreciate GO-TO. Conflicting programming, choose to break the law to save the Republic, became a gangster, created a criminal empire and shaped the galaxy through the underworld and enjoyed every second of it
R2-D2 helped destroy 2 death stars, supported the destruction of untold hords of droids in the clone wars, helped to bring down Jaba the huts empire, and in legends sent the Eclipse supper star destroyer to die by crashing into a star. He also helped to destroy the confederacys large battle ship. So I think he should win the title of most assists.
I remember thinking "Shit just got real" when RD2D had his own little group of reprogrammed B1 Battle Droids in that one Clone Wars episode He probably could run his own little empire if he wanted to lmao
Can we all just appreciate that 4 - 1 are KOTOR droids? Seriously, KOTOR gets a lot of recognition now and days, BUT IT STILL ISN'T ENOUGH! But this, this does put a smile on my face.
James LeDuke the true destructive capabilities of the Abominor in the ancient epochs of Star Wars is long forgotten but had the Sileentium not started their avenging crusade to eradicate the demonic droid race, most of the galaxy would have long ago been reduced to a lifeless clump of Star matter and broken worlds...
Sorry, BUT HK could fight Jedi on level ground…. And Win. The guy assasinated Jedi and straight up killed some face to face. He’s levels above any Droid before or After.
The YVH is propably not on this list because he is restricted in his decisions if you take f.e. IG-88, he became more dangerous because he became "sentient" & had his own "will"
I don't think being remembered for thousands of years for successfully starting a violent Droid revolution is being a "footnote in history", my dude lol
We're literally rewriting all droid programming, and putting in heavy constraints like control chips... because your almost successful revolution was a "minor footnote" in history. Sounds like Jedi logic/downplaying, oh wait who helped quell that rebellion again?
The Jedi care about the balance of the Force, not the rights of the people. That's why they don't care about droids as much as they care about organic beings. Jedi would rather protect a pot flower than a gonk droid.
It's also important to note, that HK-47 served under Revan, and he kind of claimed his great tactics, and battle skills, which made him even more powerful.
HK-47 easily. in legends, he survived all the way up to I believe it was the Jedi purge where he got a new body that was the last and most recent sighting of him in the star wars continuum
Where my HK gang at? On a real note, HK 47/ HK 51, and HK 55 were all EPIC droids, with HK 47 being one of my favorite characters in Star Wars lore, period. If they were to make a series on Disney + surrounding HK 47 and his journey across the galaxy once he was separated from Revan. He was just the best droid I've ever seen. But I shall refrain from judgement against foolish meatbags
Antagonistic Reply: Even though you are a Meatbag of sub optimal intelligence, you will be allowed to live to serve our purpose. Dire Threat: Though if you fail to please us even once, you will be liquidated. Scathing Inquiry: Now, do you even know which end of the blaster to point at the other Meatbags?
Of course, you remember they Republic LITERALLY fielded an army of these that single handedly in a small squad number when first came out even CRUSHED the Vong in open ground combat
Anakin on IG droids: “These must be the unique items we were warned about. These assassin droids can be very unpredictable.” Ahsoka: “They’re switched off. They don’t look so tough to me.” Anakin: “Nothing looks tough to you. Take my word for it, they’re deadly.”
It's not canon, but the droid I would fear if I saw it out of any of these is the EG-5 Jedi Hunter Droid. That thing is just terrifying. It's basically like Grievous but without four arms and a new paint job. It wields two red synthetic lightsabers and can even self destruct when it feels it has been defeated.
How is R2-D2 not on this list? He seriously was responsible for countless deaths and played a very large part in the victory of whatever factions he allied with
So I was watching this and started thinking of an alternative timeline where the IG-88 droid had ended both the empire and republic and kept total control of the death star run by droids made in the factory with the I'll call it 'command 66' revolt code and how effective that a droid outcome would be, like a galaxy run by clankers is obviously not ideal but the droids must have known better AI was out there somewhere and if they were successful in making a central AI but also cybernetic augmented clones fusing inorganic with organics to create some super being and eventually using force sensitives to make ever better cyborgs and so on until you have a mass that makes the death star look like a calculator and the Starkiller base look like mold that is growing off an old battery, a Thing, that consumes everything all the systems all the planets EVERYONE EVERYTHING until FINALLY there is nothing left. What then? Would the Will of the Force just finally break after countless time passes of not interfering just end it right then? And what would the droids think? Assuming they still call themselves that. Would they just, shut down? After calculating every possible outcome of any possible situation what would they do after doing everything? Maybe IG-88-A thought of this when it was uploaded to the second death star. Maybe.. just maybe, it knew that in the end there must be more. That something has to go on and that interference at the battle of Endor wasn't even needed. The Jedi will die out, the Empire will fall. Machines will be made wars will be waged. The Force will always be there guiding the universe. Perhaps it showed one droid a glimpse of the future. Maybe a glitch in the system, power outage in Sector 7 things always going on the fritz I hear. Who knows? Not like we could ask the droid its parts are long melted and CPU wiped. You know those old clankers are not all gears and lights. Some think and even feel. Kinda like clones. But hey canon got shattered like that starship that tried to hyper jump that one time a long time ago. But still an interesting alternative to why IG-88 kinda just let it happen.
Honestly I feel like ig88 realized that Palpatine didn't know he was there and got sidetracked having enough processing power to probably simulate a damn soul on the death star and found passing off the emperor fun as hell
It seems like the Old Republic saw most of the superior droids... G0T0, the entire HK series, M1-4X, SCORPIO and the GEMINI series... all of them make the entirety of the Separatists' droid armies from the Clone Wars era look like harmless toys by comparison.
I was expecting the Gonk to be in the first place. I've heard that Gonks are supposed to act as power generator and that they have a "nuclear" core inside of them.
5:12 That leaves the question, DID his actions help the Republic? (Stimulating planet economies with contraband and keeping the Hutts occupied so they didn't turn their eyes to a damage Republic.)
Its funny, in kotor 2 one alternative is that HK47 destroys the HK50s through exploiting their programing preventing them from attacking friendlies, and just strolls into their base, insults them, deactivates his own targeting restrictions and kills them.
I believe you missed a major detail regarding HK-47. I don't mean to be nitpicky here, so please hear me out. This is within the expanded universe, but I think it still works. When HK-47 appeared during the events of ToR, he fought against not one but both of the Republic's and Empire's finest (arguably). The Barsen'thor (Jedi Consular), the Hero of Tython (Jedi Knight), the Butcher's Bane (Smuggler) and the Major (Trooper) on the side of the Republic. On the Empire's side was the Champion of the Great Hunt (Bounty Hunter), a Darth (Sith Warrior), another Darth (Sith Inquisitor) and Cypher Nine. These would be their respective titles by the time they fought him, or titles they would be better known as. I want to emphasize that HK-47 fought both. *Both* of these groups of individuals and was a tough opponent for them when they grouped up to fight him. This really shows that if a perfect droid has ever existed, it's HK-47. If I were to add any other droids to this list, I would place C2-N2. That thing is much too dangerous to your sanity. Lol, ok, for a serious placement I would put SCORPIO. Just don't call her that, since she isn't one(?) and anyone who calls her that has a tendency to get a bad case of painful death. Her record speaks for itself, if anyone could compete with HK-47 as the most deadly, the most terrifying and the most manically amazing being -- seriously! I'm actively not spoiling anything here because if you haven't played ToR, than you need to at the very least watch her story arch. It's so well done that it arguably outshines the main characters -- you, yes it's that good. She may not be as excellent in combat as our loving HK-47, but her skills make exceptionally dangerous.
Scorpio also became a planet, and it was hinted at the that she might be the planet mortis. she became the comic book villein ego and then went to sleep and possibly became the home for the father, brother and sister which means she (when in a self induced coma) became an epicenter for the force and its own living and vibrant ecosystem made from pure metel. still not as strong as hk-47 (mostly do to the fact that unlike her he is probably also still alive and not in a coma, and hes single highhandedly or helped end planets) but shes defently hitting that second place spot with the close second being ether r2-d2 or t7-01 (we forget but these two astromechs killed millions, destroyed/fell empires and helped win some of the biggest wars in history) its amazing what can do with a simple shock baton and a spike
When you hear about all these dangerous Droids it really makes you wonder why the Separatists didn't go for more dangerous Droids. It was probably fear of revolts and not wanting to pay for the better more expensive ones, I mean with how massive the Droid Army was and how much each individual Droid cost they were already paying out of their asses for them, forget just an arm and a leg, they were paying with their whole bodies. XD.
As I understand it, that is exactly the reason they didn't. The droid uprising all those millennia ago basically sealed droids' fates in the eyes of the galaxy.
They actually wanted to go with more dangerous droid models to win the war, Darth Sideous (Chancellor Palpatine) simply vetoed them and prevented them from doing so.
I think the number one spot should have gone to the hex droids from Star Wars: Fatal Alliance. They were incredibly powerful and capable of adapting to any situation they were presented with. Hell, at one point in the novel a mandalorian, a sith, a jedi, and dozens of mercenaries try to take one head on and barely manage to succeed. Later in the novel they even chain together by the thousands in space and literally destroy an entire fleet.
"We do not recognize your authority!" Yes! Those hexes are dangerous indeed. I am reading the book right now. Just at the part where they are meeting / forming plans on the republic ship.
I hope we get to see HK-47 on the mandalorian series one day... Would be the best droid companion for mando making ironic jokes to each other.. Like guardians of the galaxy but star wars
All of these droids sounds interesting and definitely deserving of being recognized as dangerous. But what about the droids known as hexes in the book Star Wars Fatal Alliance? I have not finished the book yet but they seem very dangerous. They destroyed roughly half of the Republic and Imperial fleet. They are adaptable and regular blasterfire does little damage to them. They can slip a factory, nest, into a location and spread cords throughout the area draining resources to build more hex droids while remaining undetected. Individual hexes can merge with others forming a bigger droid. They stand about 2 meters tall and have six hands / feet all of which can shoot out blue fire or energy pulses. They could redirect blasterfire, even from a heavy blaster turret, and even deflected, and bent, a lightsaber. They are intelligent and adaptable during battle. Just four was almost a match for a Jedi, a Sith, a Mandalorian, a former spec ops soldier, the Hutt's security forces, and a team of republic VIP guard. And that was with a heavy blaster turret too. Based on their rate of growth on a planet rich with resources needed to build them it is estimated they could take over the universe in one generation.
Can someone explain how the Empire went from an already established droid army, to a fresh clone one while also keeping specific droids on staff and then eventually returning full circle with the Dark Trooper droids?
I remember the IG book where they rip the security guard in half with another droid and completely obliterated the scientist who made them plus there was a 5th one which I do believe is the one from the mandalorian.
Just after TROS and the fall of the First Order would be the ideal time for another droid uprising… there are hardly any Jedi around to oppose them and the Galaxy is chaotic.
There’s a lot that I’m upset isn’t canon anymore but that IG-88 shit is too much nonsense. That, Luke falling in love with a computer and that bullshit Warhammer fanfic era of the Republic.
