I've been thinking a lot about how to prepare for Warlords of New York. These were 5 tips I came up with after digging into tweets and info the developers have put out there. Destin, thanks for the info! I am currently working on the Savage Wolverine named gun quest and also trying to get the Chameleon. Am I wasting my time doing this now? Should I wait until Warlords comes to get a higher level of these guns?

If the 500 stuff isn't going to carry forward, I'd say target loot and farm teal. When you break it down, the electronics alone make an hr session productive.

Great video, you are one of the first people to actually report factually on what they said on the exotic upgrades instead of all the misinformation from some regular Div 2 youtubers that caused the crazy people to panic because they thought they had to regrind all of their exotics.

I've been taking my time on the videos as I'd rather have a good grasp of the concepts before saying anything. This is the first time I have come across your work and I have immediately subbed. I really like your approachable style for Div 2 I just got back into the game a week ago and the first thing I did was craft my first Chatterbox. I had never gotten around to it. If you're still unsure you can also just wait for Warlords of course, but based off the info Ubisoft provided this seems like a smart method of preparation.

Little tip. For the people who bought Warlords, use the 30 boost to make a new toon. Once through the tutorial, buy the shared resources. Your newly created toon gets half of max resources. Delete toon and make another. The boost is unlimited! They are fixing this now.

Thanks for the help!! I was hanging on to my exotic gear ongoing like it was sent from the god themselves. I guess we will might meet again when I enter then land of 40, hopefully I will miss not having to pick up my own ammo and not getting, well now armor piercing bullets instead. Other than the WAY overtuned difficulty for Challenge and Heroic and having 3+ players in your group (the damage and bullet-sponge gimmicks are mathematically off the charts), this expansion is absolutely incredible. Really well done.

What about the whole thing where you can deconstruct talents and save them to a library of perks that can be applied to other items? Will only expansion+ dropped gear be allowed to "extract" perks?

a little disclaimer or correction on your #1 tip. Its true that you should deconstruct any GS 500 items, however because we will have separate libraries, its best to keep those near max attributes to save to the Lvl 30 library. This will be helpful in case people plan to create alternate characters. Once they hit WT1, they can immediately recal to put on those high rolls. So save only the high stat rolled gear for 3/3.

Thinking on that, Realistically that gear will only be viable for what? An hour of gameplay right? The second you hit 31 you’ll be getting better drops.

Destin well if we are talking about the entire player base. Some may not be as efficient as us to do it in an hour. At the same time, if you want to be more of a completionist, some may want to fill up their library, like a pokedex (as the devs joked) so that you can have the close to max rolls in both libraries. People will find unorthodox ways or different kinds of enjoyment playing the game.

The rolls you have on current gear will not be able to used to roll on your level 31+ gear though, It´s different libraries. So the best is to just delete all the stash you have to just do an clean start with Warlords.

But what about the recalibration bank? Shouldnt we hold onto our old gear to add their stats to the recalibration table???

Their will be 2 separate libraries. 1 for gear 1-30 n the other for gear 31+. The high tier gear u currently have will only be useful if u create a new character n once u hit world tier 1 u can craft high end gear. None of ur current stats can be bought over to the 2.0 version. This is literally a gear reset for every1. Plus any high stat attributes u have won't compare to the new stats since everything will be a higher level which means higher rolls.

I just hopped back into the game today and im only level 10, should i just play the base game until the 3rd and buy the expansion to boost up to level 30? Or is there specific things i should do to get ready for the expansion? Or since im such low level it doesnt matter.
