Well, if you have been having those dreams and you say your partner is a praying one, you should know that first of all God does not permit cohabitating with the opposite sex without the proper things being done to justify you two living together as husband and wife. The devil will always bring in temptation within you two which both of you will surely fall for it. Secondly, God Almighty might be revealing those dreams to you, to let you know that maybe both of you are not meant to be together or your man should do the rightful thing (by paying your bride price), for both of you to experience peace and the great blessing of living together as husband and wife. I will suggest you both live separately ( different houses), then recommit your man on the alter of prayers to know what God is really saying about your relationship once more. If your dreams changes to positive ones ( maybe you see yourself getting married to him in your dreams like several times, etc), then he is the one but God does not want both of you staying together except he marries you properly.
