Personally, this would be scarier (for you) if you had the simple voice chat mod installed since it has proximity voice and voices can be muffled through the wall. Imagine hearing one of your buds screaming through a wall, muffled.

The Man From the Fog can break Down All Doors, even Iron Doors, so a Redstone Build to keep him out like maybe a Piston that'll pop up when the Door is either Opened or Destroyed should do the Trick. If you want some more Mods to Play with, I can recommend the Following List Below. • The Create Mod. • Alex's Caves. • Valkyrien Skies. • Valkyrien Skies: Eureka. • Valkyrien Skies: Clockwork. • The Apotheosis Mod. • Talhanation's Recruit Villagers Mod. • Talhanation's Villager Workers Mod. • The Minefortress Mod. • Fleshcrafter's LuckyTNT Mod. With these Mods, you guys should have a Pretty cool Blast while Surviving the 5 Dwellers and Herobrine. Build up the Village into a Town or even a City, Start an Army and Expand it into a Full Fledged Military, Hire Villagers to Do some Work for you, Build Railway Lines for the Villagers and resources that they'll either mine or Build with, Enchant Bookshelves to get Level 140 Enchantments which takes the Max Enchantment level to 20 (XX), New TNT Blocks and so much more. If you want to start a Base in the Nether, Take some Diorite and/or Calcite for when you find a Bastion Remnant. Have a Respawn Anchor ready with Chests full of Glowstone Dust to Keep the Anchor's Charged and Have plenty of Soul Fire Related Items like Campfires and Torches ready to Light the Place up and Keep the Piglins either Out of their own Territory or Trapped by their own Design. More importantly, Get some Spyglasses so that you can Double up on the Optifine Zoom and Look for Herobrine or the 5 Dwellers in the Distance as well as some Bows or Crossbows with Either Arrows, Arrows of Harming II or Firework Rockets with Flight Duration 3 and a Light Gray and a White Firework Star to fire especially from the Latter. Well, this was glorious chaos lol. Also, you have the right idea of blocking doors because the MFTF, Man From The Fog, can break any form of door to my knowledge. Also, if you guys want to try and do this again, maybe you could try something like the mod loadout that Calvin has going on, or try another thing like Scape and Run or such. Either way, this was a very enjoyable mess and I hope to see more like this from you in the future.

IMAGINE THE POSSIBLE EVENTS! with chat being the only way, you can talk to each other over long distances. but not useful when needing instant help due to a monster chasing them. making it fair, but scary and have a use. and the IMERSON!
