I'm 21 and I haven't really noticed any recession yet, but for the first time of my life I have been growing my hair out long (I'm at 6 months now), and I've been noticed weird things like my hair parting and my cowlick, and it started to freak me out, especially when I see my history. My dad is 47 and still has like Norwood 1 or 2 thick hair, but both of my grandfathers and my uncle (from my fathers side)are bald, while everyone from both grandmothers part of the family has thick hair in their older age, so it makes it a very 50/50 thing in my case.

What did you do? Ues a hair dryer? Or did you allways have longer hair or short haircuts. Did you change your diet

Minox + derma does solid results and doesn't alter your hormones, just where they go, how fast they get there, and how much. @@letsgethair I look forward to it matt because i think it is important to know what can change after your appearance changes because we have to adapt all over again and how people perceive us now as opposed to how you were seen before your hair transplant. I have definately seen a change in some peoples attitudes toward me since regaining my hair and becoming more confident and identified with myself more, some people even seem hostile toward me since my change of appearance and it would be good to know what others think who have made the transformation.

I use a wooden tooth comb on my scalp when I have dandruff and shake off the flakes in the tub so my scalp can breathe. I sometimes put paraben-free skin lotion on my scalp if it’s really dry resulting in persistent dandruff.

@@abdomostafa4106 i don't believe in dermarolling. I spoke with several doctors and all of them said finasteride is what works best. My hair is improving a lot, but I lost so much hair in the last years while using minoxidil that I don't know if I will be able to cover my crown.

@@letsgethair i went to oliva clinic without testing my hair properly the doctor gave me a thickness serum and some shampoo and i also had blood tests for vit D, b12 in which i ended up having deficiency in those vitamins now i am using tablets and serum and shampoo from 4 weeks but i didnt find any change in the thickness

Where can I get tested on my vitamins my hair and line up is falling rapidly .. Getting worse also shampoo I honestly don't know what's wrong with my hair or what to do I just need help on where I can get tested on my blood to see if I'm missing vitamins

You can start training 2-3 weeks after HT or even earlier but consult it with your doctor and if he says it is okay, then you can start training even a bit earlier.

I feel you dude, I'm 23 and was on a way to Norwood 3 last year. That's what is helping me so far : - Minoxidil 5 % twice a day - Dermaroller 0,25 mm and then 0,5 mm once a week - DHT blocking shampoo twice a week - Nizoral shampoo twice a week

Just accept it guys the fight is not worth it. I've been balding since almost 3 years now. I'm 24 now and shaved it off 2 months ago. Best thing I've ever done. There is more to life than hair just work on yourself.

Finasteride is the only really effective way to treat it. Then combine it with Minoxidil and nizodal.

Let’s make one thing clear: a hair transplant is not without its limits. They can only take so much hair from the back of your head. Usually an fut + an fue is the only way to even get back a large amount of hair and even then it won’t last you forever.

Minoxidil would be a safe way to start with treating your hair loss in your teens

You're likely over analysing it and are paranoid. Generally if you notice no/few hairs fall out in the shower, then there's no reason to be worried. If you have fine hair I'd imagine that's quite common and doesn't indicate balding. This can be helped by certain products like thickening shampoos. Also worth noting that the scalp is almost always visable if your hair is wet (not sure if this is when you're looking at it). I'd suggest just to forget about it. If it gets worse then go to a doctor/dermatologist. Sometimes thinning hair all over is caused by an external problem such as a deficiency or stress- so might be worth getting checked out if you worried. Balding will usually happen in patterns (thinning on top, recession at front). So I think you should be ok.

@@swampert6296 bro depends on the receding ,if you realize an m shape on your head that means its male pattern baldness and can't be prevented without effort. However if you notice a bit of thinning on the front or the back scalp you can prevent it by massaging your hair and using minoxidil for a period of time , also consume foods rated with vitamins that helps hair . I was balding a year ago due to stress. But I massaged my hair and tried as best as I can to live a healthier life and my hair has gotten better , still tho I noticed a bit of receding from the front but still I'm not bald and I'll keep taking care of myself to stop it . All I can say is that my hair got soo much better . So just dont panic and btw I'm kinda late . How are you now . Try those techniques to regain back what you lost before more time passes

Finasterid is a life long medication, it works by getting rid of the DHT the biproduct of your testosterone which causes the hair follicle to shrink till your bald. You have to take it for life to keep your hair

@@p-l-u-t-0 Definitely don’t start finasteride before turning 18. DHT plays a major role in puberty and inhibiting it can cause serious issues. I recommend getting on fin as soon as you turn 18 and then maybe getting a hair transplant later on if you’re not satisfied.

The fact that your brother went bald doesn't mean that you will go bald too... You can always use the hair texture to figure out whether you will go bald or not. According to what i learnt from the internet, men dont lose hair due to dht. They lose hair because their hair follicles are allergic to dht. Also it is these hair follicles that results in different hair texture(straight, curly or wavy) So if your brother had straight hair texture and he went bald then it means that the straight hair producing follicles in your family is allergic to dht. So now if you have the same straight hair texture as your brother then there is more than 50% chance that you will go bald. But if you have wavy or curly hair then you have less 50% chance to go bald (provided that the wavy or curly hair producing hair follicles in your family is not allergic to dht).

There is a body builder on here (YT) who uses it and minoxidil. I don't recall him ever saying about muscle loss. You could talk it over with your doctor or dermatologist.
