I’m consistently having issues landing on the ramp. I can land the double ramp per fly every time but land on the first one is hard. As well the only way I can land on the ramp is after a full one 180. If I go for 90, I always miss the ramp. I saw a video that said run forward on the ramp more before jumping then turning but you just were running to the side, straight out on some of those jumps.

I suggest before trying to do any of these or any high ground retakes thinking and trying to understand why it's used, i actually never understood nor tried any of these and just stuck to the normal 90's for so long until i practiced high ground retakes in creative yesterday, what you need to know is: why a cone is used, you need to know why you are placing a cone wherever you place it and how to use it in so many different ways, for example, you can use a cone for protection while you're ramping up, for elevation or for simply stopping your opponent from getting higher or from ramping over you, But the most important tip is you don't need to do any high ground retake to a tee, that means you don't need to do every little step, see what's comfortable to you, put your own spin on it, because what you can do is definitely gonna be more comfortable for you to do and will feel natural without mistakes because it's your own creation, just remember that every player came up with these by themselves they did what felt comfortable to them, and that's not necessarily what will feel comfortable for you to do nor should you follow it like a rule or something, 1 understand why cones are used, 2 understand how to use them, 3 put your own spin on your high ground retakes so it feels more comfortable to you, finally good luck guys.
