It does happen especially for certain guns with lower ammo. For me I sometimes run out when taking engagements at longer ranges, pre firing or suppressing a target.

First thing first, Play SOLO! Get to know the Maps and while playing solo, you can unlock weapons augments as well as vehicle perks up to a certain level to really get more kills on pvp. Plus, You can get to a limit of 300 kills per gun which is easy against the AI's on solo and it will add to your Players Badge Kills to prestige him.

btw. the sensitivity coefficient just determins the ratio between horizontal and vertical mousemovement depending on your screen size. If you have a 16:9 ratio monitor, 178 would be the number to have equal movementspeed horizontally and vertically. if you have an 4:3 aspect, it would be 133. (16:9= 1,77 ; 4:3= 1.33 etc)

Yeah not that hard to understand, I don't get the confusion. So for 21:9 it would be 233%. 2.33*9 = 21. ("Weird math" for Enders is basic grade school math :D)

i have my modify attachments as button 'r' then i have the up scroll wheel change the sight, the down scroll wheel change the under, the forward mouse 4 button changes the barrel, and the back mouse 3 button changes the rear stock. outside of that i have mouse 4 set as melee and mouse 3 as reload.

Do bullets spew from the center of your screen or whatever far away land the ADS reticle decides to jump to with each frame? Good aim and recoil control seems to go out the window in most medium to long range egagements. You can have your reticle perfectly aligned with someone's head and as you fire your bullets visibly fly slightly to the left and right.

Thanks for the tips! There's something about 2042's aiming. I cant get it quite right, something is off and i cant figure it out. Ive played BF for a long time, and each game is different (aiming). I just cant get this one right. I wish i new how to explain it better....i just have a very hard time staying on target once im aimed in. If that makes sense to anyone ,i would love some advise! Im going to try adjusting the coefficient like u suggested first.

Wow thanks to your tips, I doubled my kill count after playing around with these settings a bit. For me, coefficient of 133 feels just right. I also changed something that you didn't talk about, but I saw it as a setting you had on your system and copied it - the FOV. The game feels a lot more dynamic and my aim is better for some reason. I also loved your "How not to be a noob" vids Great stuff man, keep them coming!

Battlefield 2042 is a lot better than Warzone 2.0. You should play it. Unlike in Warzone, XP Boosters in 2042 is only enabled in game. Auto disabled in menu, lobby and everywhere else.

remember u.s.a. gives you gradual hip-fire to ads sensitivity transition time, instead of instant, with it off and the old transition smoothing option off (which had the information on gradual transition timing for both settings for some reason), you get instant...on top of that I cant seem to find a 1:1 sensitivity in this game as I just reinstalled it and all the sensitivity is still broken I HAVE to have USA off and my ads multiplier to 200!!!! to get 1:1 which is absolutely ridiculous to have to do, to get 1:1 ads to hip, when cod easily does it much better, with the same USA scale but with the correct math, they really need to FIX u.s.a and not just say ohh look we are turning on this broken setting that doesn't scale correctly by default, because on 1.78 co. i should be seeing 1:1 ads like on cod but I'm not, because bf2042 dice team doesn't math correctly, and it seems like the coef effects controller entirely different than it does mouse in this game, as I see people on controller who turn it up and it makes their aim too fast and actually works, but I set my coef to 300 and its still not even 1:1 with my hip on kb+m, haven't been able to even play the game since I bought it.

Your comment is convoluted but you're right. I also have my ADS sensitivity set to 168 just to have it as close to the hipfire sensitivity as I could bother. It was pretty annoying to find that number, when all they need to do is fix USA.

USA just feels weird in 2042. it may have been fixed, but it used to be that USA in 2042 didn't make the aim speeds (pitch/yaw speeds) universal across all sight types. Lower magnifications in particular had much faster aim speeds than higher magnifications did, especially on sidearms, which is why I hated using sidearms for a while and still don't really like them.

I honestly can't find settings that feel "good" to me on BF. I did lower the FOV to 70 and that helps a little. The Uniform Solider Aim seems to make no difference.

Actually yes you can. It can bug out though and you have to get a regular unlock in a online game to fix it. You can also do some battlepass misdions in there.

No amount of tips really help the game for me. Like i have played nearly every battlefield game that has released since 3. I think the only one i missed was hardline. I kept a consistent 2.0 minimum kd on all of them. Then 2042 came out. I do not know what the hell it is about this game, but i have such a hard time winning a firefight. I can go back to BF4 or 5 or even 1 and wreck all day, get top of the scoreboard more often than not. But the moment i hop into a game of 2042 it's like the reverse. I don't know if it's just that the shooting or time to kill is that different or what, but it has been one of the most jarring experiences i have had in a battlefield sequel. And i've tried adjusting to it, i have like almost 100 hours in the game now at this point, and it doesn't seem to matter. It's such an odd feeling that i have no idea what it is that is wrong, just that i know something is wrong. Like i went in a game of BF4 the other day, got 50+ kills, died maybe 7 times, without getting into a vehicle. But when i play 2042 i'm lucky to get more than 20 kills. It's so fucking strange to me how different the experiences are of playing them.

Why the fuck you're trying to play anti vehicle? Just take any RPG launcher with you and use it if you have a tank/heli nearby. You can win a game by getting flags captured, you can be on top of leaderboard if you play around them. Both of these are not available if you trying to down enemy heli for the whole round and ending up with a 100 XP in a minutes spent.

It doesn’t matter how accurate you are in this game a noob using RM68, BSVM, Avancy's, RPT can drop you. In past BF's always playing engineer i loved Carbines or smg's but using smg's in this game you're at a drastic disadvantage even up close hitting headshots. The core weapon mechanics are utter trash.

The weapon mechanics are the only thing I like about this game the smgs work just fine and unlike cod dmrs aren't useless at range every weapon feels viable with long range being ideal in a game with mostly long distance fights.

It's simple pick up an play gunplay, what's fun about being able to mag dump a 200 round mag, dropping people at 120 yards while strafing without getting hardly any movement penalty? You don't have to compensate for anything just point and click, It's brainless mechanics. Good for you to enjoy it, but I can't settle for such trash It's too easy and boring especially with the weapons mentioned above they're ridiculous.

Try to learn how to gun play and you'll see that in details it doesn't matter what weapon do you have unless it has automatic mode and at least 20 ammo in a clip. SMG could be dirtiest thing in this game, you just have to shoot first and do it precisely.

Look at unreasonable top stats of each match and throw them off for a week? DICE should do this automatically based on their own research and playing. You know by the stats alone.

Less vertical recoil? Buy a cheap console, get instant less vertical recoil. Turn on assist. Max FOV. Use good weapon attachments. Use a noob weapon like RM68. (Skilled players won't use it). it's easier to control vertical recoil with a mouse, even if you have far less experience with a mouse than you do with a controller. Having less vertical recoil with a controller doesn't really matter when the ceiling for VREC control is inherently higher and easier to pull off with KBM. Aim assist is also buggy and unreliable in 2042. Aim assist slowdown will literally trigger even when the center of your screen isn't on the enemy's torso yet, which makes aiming horizontally without overcompensating or undercompensating virtually impossible.

@Boyishdude About time mouse is absolutely true. It's more easy to control. Besides that. The game(play) is not great at all for any platform. But most other fps games are also not the best. Assist for controller is best when It's on 0. I came from a console and if you have your settings right then you are good to go. But maybe it's because I'm a advanced player. I wish you a great day.

Target acquisition with console is dramatically slower than pc. If you're on console then you're at a disadvantage against pc

@@eelnikar Aim in general is slower on console than on PC. A mouse has faster aim speeds across the board in addition to more precision and smaller inputs being required to reach those speeds.

@eelnikar That's why it's better no crossplay or just crossplay between consoles. If you buy a Fiat Panda (console) then you also can't compete against an Audi RS6 (pc). Fiat doesn't get extra help to compete. Besides that, I don't think consoles are 100% compatible with fps. If it was then game designers wouldn't give consoles extra help. Lower vertical recoil, assists,.. But if you buy a console then you know the device is not great for fps like BF, COD,...

if u have put 1000+ hours into FPS games, and BF specifically, while also having a functional arm/hand that u can use to pull down ur mouse with, it's really not that hard.
