Don't play this game and never will but what you're describing is literally DICE to a tee and this game is made by former DICE employees so this adds up. Nerf all fun and casualize the FUCK out of the game. I'm sure the game is very popular on console and those plebians don't even use twitch so that probably doesn't help viewership. Also, no viewers on twitch is kind of a meme. Just because there isn't really viewership definitely does not mean a game is "dead." Which i know that's not really what you said but I just feel the need to point that out. Like WoW and FF14 for example, no viewers but still a fuck ton of active players. Some games are truly engaging to watch and are GREAT spectator sports and some are not. The Finals is similar to R6S for me, I just have no interest in small team games like this. I don't really wanna sweat my ass off holding angles or pushing objectives while being cerebral about my play. I'd rather just turn off my brain and either A. run around on CoD (which I don't really play CoD but I have in the past), B. turn my brain off and play a big ass combined arms arcade game like Battlefield or C. just play a single player game lol. tldr, I'm just not the target audience for this game, there is a market here though for sure.
I'd say there is a chance the dude played the build but I also think it's just as likely that it's an old Battlefield boomer that wants to see BC3 when in reality it's just BF6 with HEAVY inspiration from 3&4. I'd imagine BF6 will have destruction a la BC2 because that's what the community has been asking for, for a long ass time now. And we know how DICE are "listening" to the community, based on the reports. I'd also agree, BF6 as a whole would be a lot easier to execute than an actual sequel BC3. I can guarantee if they made a BC3 it would be dog shit and no would be happy.
If the game is coming out at the end of 2025 then there shouldn't be an issue with the game being in alpha. They have over a year to build and polish it.
Yeah, I’m gonna keep it real with you dude… I will never understand the argument of “This gameplay loop has too much downtime” or “there’s not enough action” Like are you fuckin kidding me? 😂😂😂 This game is the most action packed game I’ve ever played. I just don’t see the argument you made about how nobody wants to watch this game because there’s too much down time. That just doesn’t make any sense because objectively speaking, this game has way less downtime than the games that were popular on twitch. Apex and Fortnite have way more downtime, so that can’t be possible
Dice in a nutshell: Players: Easy, just look at bf history til bf1. And just bring that game back. Dice: Ok. …. But weapon charm? How about little bit of.. abilities? They are hopeless. There is solution been laying around in front of their eyes with franchise history at their disposal. And yet, they somehow do NOT want to do it. Is it arrogance? Or little kids throwing tantrum and make sure they go opposite of it? Or simply are they delusional? Stuck up? All of the above?

BF3/4 remaster, not as fast in movement as BF2042 and plenty of destructible environments. I went from BF3 to 4 to 1 to MW1 to insurgency sandstorm and ghost recon. There's nothing out there at them moment that gives me the BF4 experience and it's a massive gap. And a campaign is a must, even if it's a remaster I'll take it
I love this game. As a COD and BF player tho, I find it getting boring really quick because of the constant lull in gameplay. Gunfights are insane, fun, and chaotic but once theyre done its like 30-60 seconds of running. God help you if you die as soon as you get to the OBJ. In my opinion it needs a 5v5, 6v6, or 9v9 mode. Lower the respawn delay for team wipes and I think it would be even better than it is.
No point telling Dice anything. Since BF3 & BF4 came out the community has been screaming what they need to do. But they only care about sucking EA's dick.
Honestly a Cold War Battlefield would be dope af. It gives the team something fresh and new to bring into the Battlefield series that can really attract old players to come back and new players to check it out. CoD has profited heavily from the Cold War era from the black ops series up to Cold War. And it gives so many opportunities for some extremely dynamic storylines to take place all across the world in story mode(which they better bring back). I think they’d be doing everyone a huge disservice if they didn’t do a Cold War game.

This season is a lot more fun to me and Enders, there's like 2x less cheese from the first season. I want what your smoking. The RPG use to do 175 damage Enders... the c4 with barrel combo use to take out squads without even having to try, the charge slam use to be even better and the medium wallhack ability was the most cheesy thing you could possible put in a game. The turrets had more health and hit harder, the mines use to have 30+ more damage then they do now and you can only set down one. I could type a whole paragraph about how less cheesy The Finals is now. Please let my know your dealers number that's some good sh!t you got.
The movement felt like titanfall from video, but actual movement is not as smooth as titanfall... On the other hand, there is no casual mode... like you can feel the competitive in every match...
EA literally needs to just do what they do in BF 3 and 4 and your gaming community will be back. - Stick to the modern era. - Class based. - 64 players (Absolutely nobody ever asked for 128 player modes). - A real war like immersion similar to BF3, BF4, and the Bad Company series.
Hey Enders, here's what I think explains your experience with the gameplay feeling dulled down. Basically, Embark nerfed a lot of heavies shielding abilities and took away the canister nuke. Embark also nerfed the mediums by completely removing their wall hack ability (removal was healthy for the game), and they nerfed medium's healing and revive abilities slightly. Light got their stun gun and shotgun combo nerfed, as well as a handful of other random nerfs. Basically, in an attempt to balance the game, Embark is erasing a lot of the game's fun and class identity. They also refuse to give lights better teamplay and objective scoring abilities, both of which they sorely lack. HHM (Heavy Heavy Medium) comp has been META for 3 seasons and yet lights still get very little love. I 100% agree with you on the gameplay loop, especially on the main cash out and ranked game modes. Having a game where 3rd partying is part of the design feels cheap. You could grab the be first to the cashbox, unlock it, grab it, deposit it, wait 90% of the deposit time, just to be third partied after a hard fight. There is ZERO way to build off of the advantage you had gained by being diligent and securing the cash box and depositing it. A lot of the game mode feels dissonant with actual gameplay of The Finals. P.S. Don't go on The Finals sub on Reddit.
I want battlefield to succeed so badly, as good as bf1 one is I’m just a bit bias to modern settings. Bf3/bf4 were just such special games for some reason, literally combine bf3/4 re skin it and take my money honestly.
For me it was just ok. It has all the right ingredients but I get bored of it. I have come to realized that Im just probabaly not into arena shooters anymore. Same thing with Cod or xdefiant.. I get bored of it really fast. It is the repetitive gameplay loop I guess.
