So many great games. I just bought one of the backward compatible pS3s. So I'm playing ps1 and 3 games again. I had so many good ones. What about you guys? I love playing MGS4 again.

The PS3 is all I got and this channel makes me love it even more. Just finished Tomb Raider and Uncharted 2 and now almost done with RDR. Maybe I’ll start next with Uncharted 3, Batman Arkham City or maybe Fallout 3... damn so many games to choose from lol.

Resistance is one of the best series on the PS3. It gets better with ever game. Resistance 3 is one of the best shooters of this generation.

I completed the majority of my PS3 collection a few weeks ago right before the announcement of the PS3 store closing down and man it was not a moment too soon because suddenly all of the PS3 games are skyrocketing on eBay and it's ridiculous what the costs of some of these games are starting to do now but I totally agree with your pics I have most of those games and I really do need to just sit down and start beating these games but it's just so overwhelming because there's so many great games and I want to play all of them at the same time lol. Great video though definitely gained a subscriber!

The persona games are really intimidating when you read about them, but they are totally manageable, believe me. They are also a great value if you consider how long they are, but you can play the story in small chunks almost like watching a tv show. Also, excellent stories and soundtracks.

Today I found my old ps3 slim in my attic and I can't wait to play some older games on it. Sadly, I think my controller is busted and I can't find the charging cable for it. It reminds me of the day when I received it as a gift and I was sooo happy about it.I loved playing call of duty Black ops 2 and gta 4 stories of liberty city. Good Times man, good times

Great video! I’m trying to finish more Ps3 games as well this year. Vanquish, L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3 to name a few. I also want to replay all the Ezio Assassin’s Creed games on Ps3.

Modnation Racers was a great game I think is worth playing this year, even though the servers were shut down a year or two ago. It was really fun customizing your karts and the level creator was really easy to use and pretty robust in the options. I wish they'd bring it back, I bet a new Modnation Racers would do pretty well on PS5.

Heavenly Sword is on my list to complete, it's actually a lot of fun and there's some innovative stages in-between the hack & slash. Playing Dark Void presently. Did complete Skylander's Spyro's Adventure and Giants, well worthwhile fun. Also enjoyed Beyond: Two Souls and is perhaps one of my favourite games ever. Played some Little Big Planet with friends, good co-op. I'd like to start up The Last of Us and round up a friend for Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom.

Awesome subject, i don't have a ps3 anymore but i do have a huge backlog on Pc and on Ps4 that i don't even know where to start, i'm now playing the witcher 1 (2007 title) i entend to play the whole series (already played the 3rd of curse) I love that you keep bringing up older titles i fall into the category of patient gamers because i don't realy have the time to play a lot and in the same time i buy games i find on sale constantly that keep piling up. I only finished Infamous 2 last year. Great series. I hope they make more of them. Currently playing NFS Hot Pursuit. Nice racing, but getting to level 20 is a bit grindy IMO

Dude, seriously. What you said in the beginning, I felt that hahah. Awesome video man. This year, I’m plan on playing and beating: infamous 1 & 2 & vampire dlc, uncharted 1 & 2, stranglehold, eat lead: matt hazzard, max payne 3, dead space 2 & 3, and heavenly sword. There’s only a few I never finished and I’ll be lucky if I even get through half of these hahah

Great content and from today a new subscriber, I just started inFamous (1), I found it in the drive of a broken PS3 (bloody phat) and it's been on my to-do list for a decade now, it's OK I guess, a little janky round the edges but I've just beaten Assassins Creed Syndicate for the Xbone so I was used to that higher standard I guess. I've beaten a few of your picks, Folklore is damned hard to find here in the UK - all the best.

Fantastic channel Juan....love the PS3 and Xbox 360 for cheap collecting and the graphics hold up well. It hits that gaming sweet spot of not needing 5 hours downloads yet looking and playing relatively modern.

Totally agree with everything you said there mate, love my PS3 and Xbox 360 graphics for me are great so many great games, was in my opinion the best generation. Have a PS4 but actually play my PS3 and Xbox 360 way more.

Another fantastic vid as always brother! Backlog games I will complete this year: Resistance 2, Abzu, Kane & Lynch 2, The Last of Us. Side note; the older I get the more I am starting to appreciate more compact games. I still have love for sprawling 40 hour epics but if a game can hook me just as much over 5 to 12 hours then sign me up!

Hey Matthew! That's an excellent list of games. Looking forward to your impressions on Resistance 2 once I finish the first one. And I totally get you. 5 to 12 hours for me has become the perfect length of a game for me. It also helps the gameplay from becoming dull/repetitive.

Just picked up mass effect 2 and 3 along side marvel ultimate alliance 2....I've already beat mua2 along time ago...just wanted to add it to my collection...but because I bought that and mass effect 2 I got mass effect 3 for free...never played the mass effect series so I'm looking forward to playing and beating both

I love Infamous 1 & 2. They were both great games. I beat Heavely Sword it's great but the last stage was annoying. Games I'll beat for PS3 Dead to Rights Retribution, Max Payne 3, Watchman the Complete Experience, Aquapazza, and Enslaved Odyssey to the West.

Let me know how Hellblade goes to you because is not an easy game to beat because all the voices in your head in that game. Please play it with a good headset, you will see way. I haven't beat it but it is on my back log this year to beat so we can talk about it for sure. Gotta play through the Silent Hill games. People say the HD Collection is a bad port, but I am enjoying it so far! Silent Hill 2 is awesome, no matter what console you play it on!

Man I use to have so many console but I gave it to some kids who need the experience but I started back a new collection on a ps3 so for I got 23 games for it and still want more. trying to get some of the good stuff before I move on. Really appreciate you making ps3 still alive. Many of the gamers jump to the new console without even getting the experience of some of these dope games. My Game List 1. I had to fork out 70 bucks (499,- in Danish currency) for Folklore, but I wanted it for the longest time. It's an awesome game. Just remember, you can't play the game with a dualshock controller, you have to use the six-axxis.

I will commit on finishing: Dragon's Crown, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, Hatsune Miku Project Diva F and maybe Atelier Escha and Logy. But the catch... I will play them on the Vita since I have all of these and no longer have my PS3 😬. Hopefully I'll remember these.

Oooh Dragon's Crown! I have it on PS4. Odin Sphere looks like a beautiful game. And hey, the Vita's still great! A large library considering the PS1 support as well.

Yeah I have the legacy collection I need to finally sit down and play Peace Walker as well I just wasn't interested in the big boss story arc after Metal Gear Solid 3 so I skipped it and Metal Gear Solid 5 for that reason

Mgs4 is one of the beat games of all time! I have too much of a collection to beat everything but metal gear seems to always bring me back regardless of beating them more than once

That's one of the main reasons for getting a new PC, emulation. A lot of these PS3 games run at 720p, and 30fps. With emulators, you can play at 1080p and 60fps, and the emulators are improving the optimization everyday. An example is Heavenly Sword, which had terrible frame issues on the PS3. You can now play that at 1080p or even 4K depending on your CPU, at 60fps. Makes it a whole new smooth game.

I have the inFamous Collection, bought it for $7 and beat both games and the DLC. I highly recommend you play it, personally the second one is my favorite.

@@PlayerJuan I been wanting to buy an exclusive game called "Rain" an Adventure game develope by Japan Studio best know for Ape Escape, Loco Roco and Gravity Rush. As far as I know its only available on the PS3, it's about $15 and can only be obtained on the PlayStation Store digitally.

Hey @@ramirezalejandro6, I actually played this game during Xmas! It has curious mechanics and starts pretty good, slow-paced. I had the impression that they extended the story too much though. Probably I was expecting sth different after all. But I encourage you to play it and maybe we can talk about the ending once you beat it :)

Ah, yes, Folkfore for around $30. Those were the days (only a few months ago). Now it's $130! I bought it like 3-4 years ago now along with Puppeteer and 3D Dot Game Heroes for $5 a piece. Folklore is the only one I've yet to play but in my defense you NEED an OEM (fancy way of saying authentic) Sony 6-axis controller. All of mine were 3rd party and I couldn't tell the difference until I tried Folklore and it wouldn't work. Finally got an OEM controller so I'll be playing it soon.

@@PlayerJuan I hate to say it but I blame the community. I remember when people started commenting on the price hike I went "That can't be right." And looked at the price charting website and the prices weren't anywhere near that. Even now they've gone up finally but they're still around $40-$50 less than Ebay prices and that's for NEW still in the plastic wrapper. I personally think some scumbag sellers arbitrarily jacked up the price and no one did any checking or calling it out and because of that now it IS these insane prices because no one went "Hey, wait a minute...." The sellers are laughing all the way to the bank. Unless someone has a legit reason for it that's the only explanation I have for it. No one called B.S. on it and now we're literally paying the price for it.
