Thanks for the idea on the pvc pipe for a rod case!! My boy breaks rods all the time! I'm gonna make one for his float rod for a anniversary gift! Do you have any videos on compact tackle like lanyards set ups?

Thanks, Its a great way to store your rods for sure! Ive made some lanyards in the past, but just don't really use them much.

Do you have recommendations on learning to cast a fly rod better? I can cast short distances alright, but when I really try to reach out there things go south.

Learning to "double haul" will really help you reach out there further! I used to set a paper plate out in the yard and try to cast to the plate.
